A giant sea wave, as tall as any sky scrapper, and as dark as the night, was coming towards the bridge with full force.

The bridge shook violently again, and slowly began to fall apart. The screaming increased, and the worst kind of fear gripped Laurie.

People were jumping over other people, wounding them. Everyone became wild and barbaric in order to save their lives.

Cars began slipping off the bridge, going through the suspender cables, and falling into the growing shallow pool that lay beneath.

It was hard for anyone to run quickly, due to the heavy traffic that had brought the cars very close to each other.

Laurie immediately started running as fast as possible, dragging Benjamin along towards safety. She could tell by the way red and blue lights shone from a distance, that the firemen had arrived.

She kept running, but Benjamin's hands slipped out of hers, and he fell to the ground with a loud thud.

"Ben!" She screamed as she ran towards where he fell.
But the ground where he lay began to break and bend.

"Laurie!!!" Ben screamed as he slowly began to slide downwards. But Laurie was fast enough to grip him by the Wrist, taking care not to move any closer.

"Don't let go!" She screamed at him.

"Laurie!....I'm slipping!"

"Don't let go!!"
