Ragini made her way to her gynaecologist, she didn't had an appointment, but she was befriended with the doctor, who gave her a short time in her busy schedule.

"Hi Riya, how are you?"

"Hi Ragini I'm fine, you say is everything fine?" Riya was concerned about Ragini, she knew her from childhood and both have chosen different ways to help others.

Ragini teaches children and Riya cures women.

Riya was checking her, "seems fine, what do you want?"

Ragini rolls her eyes, "Riya, " the name was stretched, but she didn't cared and smirked at her.

"Please continue and tell, why are you here?"

Ragini was looking at her hands, as she was avoiding the gaze, "I want birth control pills," she lifted her head and looked into the confused expression of her friend.

"Ragini don't get me wrong, but birth control pills contains a lot of hormones, which are not good for your body. Later on, if you change your mind it can take ages to get your body free from these hormones. I would suggest you, because of your age, to ask your husband to take the responsibility. There are plenty of ways, which a man can use as a baby control / protection." Riya explained her, being almost 30 years old, she has to think about the future, well she never thought about it as it was never a matter for her, now she is married and of course she wants children, someday.

Ragini agreed, she got a medicine for now, but later on Laksh has to care for it.

It was the usual time and Ragini reached home, to her surprise Laksh was already there, he was sitting on the couch and talking to someone, who was covered by him.

"Lucky," she was laughing and he pouts, "it's true, let her come and you will understand me."

They heard a hem, loud enough to gain their attention, Ragini was standing there and Laksh stood up.

"Hi," he pulls her close into a tight hug, "finally you are back." He was smelling her hairs and digging his face into her hairs.

Ragini blushes, "Uff Laksh we are not alone." She looked at him and moans loudly, "oh right," he turns and looked at her.

"Neha, this is my wife Ragini." He said annoyed and then turned to his wife, holding her chin, "Ragini, that's Neha. A childhood friend of mine." He kisses her nose and she blushes even more.

"Hi," she pushes Laksh away and sat next to Neha, "I'm sure you can tell me a lot about him and his childhood. Was he that time spoiled and naughty too?"

Laksh was shaking his head, his arms were up in the sky waving and making crosses. <No!> his eyes were showing panic.

"Laksh, naughty and spoiled. No." Neha said and Laksh sighs in relieve.

Ragini stood up, "okay. Laksh I'm getting freshen up. I'm just coming."

Laksh smiles not only with his lips, but also his eyes, "make it fast. Haan!"

Ragini nods, she rushes up to their room and changes her clothes in minutes. Wow Ragini, you never were this fast. She was surprised about herself. I need to talk to him, later in the bedroom only. She combs her hairs and bind them in a ponytail.

They were all sitting together at the dining table, Ragini was seeing them talking and joking around, but his hand was always searching for her hand, the closeness he was seeking was rejected with a little bit fun from Ragini, she had placed her hands visibly on the table.

Laksh pouts. Teasing me, fine let's see how you gonna survive without me.

"Neha, it's been so long. Why don't we go out and have some fun?" He asked and Neha agrees immediately, "yes, that's a great idea. Ragini you want to accompany us?"

Laksh frowns, but Ragini shook her head, "you enjoy I have to leave in the morning. You know school."

Laksh nods, "yeah, she is a teacher. I think pretty good one, you too were about to teach students or kids?" He asked and Ragini smiles, "you are also a teacher by profession?"

Neha nods, "yes, actually I'm here for a new job. This Friday I have an interview a small party or hangout would be great, I need to get rid off the nervousness."

Ragini pats on Laksh shoulder, "then this useless man is perfect. Having party and hanging out with friends are his favourite things to do, Am I right?"

AP and DP were suppressing their laugh, of course it was right and they bursted out all of them.

Laksh was admiring her, she felt his gaze and looked at him, she frowns, but he shook his head only, "nothing. I will have fun and you won't."

Ragini pulls him close to the surprise of everyone, "have fun." She tips her nose tip with his nose and made him smile.

Laksh and Neha left, while Ragini was laying on the bed. There was a slight feeling of fear. I hope he won't drink or get drunken again. He promised me, I should trust him.

Neha was hooking in his arm, he didn't liked it, but there were many men's ogling each woman, so he kept her close, both were enjoying the time, but soon he felt bored, "let's go home."

Neha blinks with her eyes, "what, no lucky please. Just a little bit more."

A few heard it, "you can leave, we will look after here...."

Neha slapped them, "stay away!"

Laksh suppressed his anger, "Neha take the car key. I'm just coming." He said under his breath.

A fight happened and Neha was admiring him. Since our childhood I have been in love with you, I will make sure to make you mine. Whatever it takes!

They were back at home and Laksh went straight to his bedroom, he smiles seeing her on the bed, but there was something. He took off his shirt and socks, he made his way up next to her, she was shivering. Soon he enclosed her in his embrace and she felt his heat, which she was missing through the night.

The next morning she woke up cuddling him, he was holding her and she smells at him. He is sober. She smiles and silently went to the washroom. She got ready and saw the empty bed, "Laksh?" She was binding her hairs to a bun.

Laksh was in the kitchen making a breakfast for her, she kisses his ear and hugs him from the back, "there was no need for this, you have a day off you should enjoy the time with your friend." She said into his ear and he shrugs, "but you are my closest friend, how can I let you leave without having breakfast and a good morning kiss?"

He turns and pecks her lips, she reciprocates to the soft kiss.

The door bell rings and Laksh frowns, "who is this in the morning?"

Ragini took his hand and gave him a paper sheet, "read this." She took the food and packed it, "it must be Karan my colleague, come I will introduce you."

Laksh saw the paper and put it in his pocket, "okay, here have the banana." He peeled it and made her eat from his hands.

Laksh opens the door and a man was standing there, "Good morning."

Ragini smiles, she was chewing the banana and looked at Laksh, he gulps and so did she, "this is Laksh, my husband and he is Karan, my colleague."

Both shook hands, "nice to meet you." It was a brief conversation and Ragini left with him, giving Laksh a kiss on his cheek.

Neha was watching at them. Great now my work has become easier. She went down, "Good morning Laksh."

Laksh looked at her, a small smile on his face, "morning. What's up?"

Neha shook her head, "I think I should prepare myself for the interview."

Laksh nods, "which school you have applied for a job?"

Neha rolls her eyes, "the xyx School."

"Wait, it's the same Ragini works for. If you want I can ask her to say in you favour?"

Neha shook her head, "no need, later I will be in her debt, I can't risk this."

Laksh shook his head in disbelief, "whatever." They spent the day together till Ragini came back, Laksh full attention shifted to his wife.

In the night, "Ragini you know what?"

Ragini was resting her head on his lap, with light strokes over her head he was pleasing her, "no, don't disturb me. I feel like I have reached the heaven."

Laksh smiles, he bend over and kisses her forehead, "Aww you are so cute."

Ragini shies, "and you are my Humsafar {life partner} I love you."

Laksh smiles ever more, "Aww damn I love you too, and yes I am your Humsafar the same way you are mine."

He hugged her tightly and she cuddles with him.

"Laksh did you read the sheet?"

Laksh looked at her, "yes, and no problem I will look after it. Why didn't you talked to me?" Ragini shook her head, "Laksh I wanted too, but seeing you with Neha I thought to give you both time with each other." Laksh smiles, he kisses her again and she felt his uncomfortableness.

"Laksh is there something?" After insisting many times he told her about Neha's job interview, "make it in discreet way. She shouldn't know about it.

Ragini winks, "no problem."

Time passes and Neha was daily around RagLak, not only this, but being in the same school with her she could make stories.

"Laksh I think Ragini is very close to Karan. I mean they are colleagues okay, but holding hands and start to whisper as if anyone could hear them?"

Laksh laughs, he shook his head, "don't overstrain your brain, there is nothing. I'm her Humsafar and she is mine."

He wasn't giving any heed to her talks, even the pictures weren't working on him.

Ragini was packing her clothes.

"Ragini one week is long. Can't you just make an excuse and let them go alone?"

Ragini shook her head, "sorry Laksh, but the kids were so happy, finally an outdoor amusement."

"Ha ha ha, you heard it, it's my sarcasm. What Outdoor with kids, ever thought about our honeymoon?"

Ragini blushes, "yes, afterwards."

Laksh pulls her close and they spent a blissful night together.

Laksh was alone with Neha, but his mind and heart was waiting for Ragini. A week is so long. He divided his mind with work as the phone calls weren't possible. Stupid connection never stays.

Ragini was hugging Laksh, it was so sweet and cute to see him at the school waiting for her, like the parents did for their children.

"Laksh I missed you so much."

"And I didn't missed you?" He pulls her close, "damn I have missed you more and I'm not going to let you go again, never. This was the longest week in my life."

Ragini laughs, "fine. I won't go on another trip. At least not without you." She winks and placed her hands around his neck.

Neha was fuming in anger. Soon there will be an opportunity, then I will make sure he will forget you forever.

Back at home RagLak were busy, there was no time for a honeymoon trip.

"Laksh!"

Laksh scared, he turned and saw her, "what happened, why are you looking so tensed. Is everything alright?"

She was out of breath, "Laksh, she...?"

Laksh hold her, "what, Neha tell me what happened?"

Neha took some breaths, "Ragini is pregnant with Karan's child."

Laksh pushes her, "shut up. Ever since you have come you are trying to separate us, I told you once and I'm telling you again, she isn't betraying me."

"Oh really, then why she talked to him instead to you?"

Neha took out her mobile phone, there it was clear to see, how Karan hold her hand and stroke over her belly, "baby really?"

Ragini nodded, "yes, but I'm scared. How will I explain him?"

He throw the mobile away, "leave!"

"Will you believe me now? I told you about them and you ignored me. Then you told me about her favour, do you know she could have used the favour to blackmail me, to keep her affair as a secret."

"Just leave!" Laksh shouts at her, Neha left the room having a big smirk on her face.

Ragini came home late, she went to their bedroom, before she entered the room she took a deep breath. You can do it.

Laksh was roaming around the room, he couldn't sit on a place and waited for her.

Ragini smiles looking at him, "Laksh?" She went to hug him, but he didn't showed any joy, "you are late?!"

Ragini pouts, "and you are upset about it. I'm sorry." She cups his face, "I have to tell you something."

Laksh was looking at her, he was controlling his tears and anger.

"I'm pregnant." She was shying her gaze was at the ground not meeting his eyes.

"Ragini abort it, I will forgive you like you did once. But I will not accept the child of another man."

Ragini was shocked, "what? Have you lost your mind?"

Laksh hold her arms, "Ragini we will start over again. As if nothing happened, but for that you have to abort your child, which you made with Karan."

Ragini pushes his hands away, she left the room and went downstairs.

"Wait you can't do it alone. I will accompany you."

Ragini looked at him, "no Laksh, I'm not going to abort the unborn. I'm leaving you!"

Laksh looked at her, "so you will keep the child and leave me? I thought I'm your Humsafar, but I was wrong. You are just a money minded woman, now you will claim for alimony, right?"

Ragini couldn't believe her ears, "Laksh..." she shook her head and left from there.
