Ragini was looking at him, "you can read my mind?" She said it in slow motion, "my mind?" She repeats it and he smiles, "yes, only your mind."

Ragini frowns, "whaaat only mine, why?" She asked and then both heard a sound. Ragini shocked, she turned to the door and her mother was standing there.

"Ragini?!"

Ragini gulps. Oh no my eyes they are still... She turns to her right and was even more nervous. Lucky? Oh shit! Ragini was shaking.
"Mom? You here that too without knocking on the door? shame on you, there is no such thing in this house, which can be called privacy." Ragini turned with crossed arms around her chest.

Mauli came closer to her, "oh mera Baacha, I'm so sorry, I really didn't wanted to hurt you or your privacy, but I heard a voice, is here someone?" She was looking around, but couldn't see anyone.

"No mom, who would be here?" She said with a smirk as she saw Lucky in his wolf form under her bed.

Mauli shook her head, "no I'm sure I heard a voice. Ragini tell me, who is this?" She stood there as a mother, she could sense a lie miles away.

Ragini was sweating, "no mom, there is no one." She shook her head and avoided to look at her. If she sees my eyes then she will have many questions and I have no plausible answers for her. She was looking at herself through the mirror. My eyes are back to normal, but how and why?

Mauli looked at her, "why are you sweating, I'm sure here is someone hiding." She looks around and hits herself, "when you hide something then only under your bed." She bend down and found Lucky.

"Aah!" She shocked as she saw him for the first time after so many years.

Lucky was hiding himself from everyone besides Ragini. She was the only one, who has seen him in his human form.

Lucky, the wolf, slowly comes out of the bed, he hauls looking at her.

Mauli looked at Ragini, "is this... Lucky?" She was pointing on him.

Ragini nodded, "yes, my best friend." She looked at him and Lucky moves closer to Ragini, she hugs him and crawls him behind his ear. Lucky loves it, he was feeling happiness.

Mauli just shook her head in disbelief, "Ragini look how big he is now. You can't keep him here, your father will go mad."

It's a true fact, Ishaan is very much concerned about Ragini, she is his little princess and will always be the one. He cares for her a lot and she knows it, like Mauli does.

"Mom don't worry. Lucky isn't here to harm me. He never did anything, you know how much he cares for me." Ragini said burying her head into his fur.

Mauli smiles looking at her love toward the wolf, "fine, but keep him away from the party. Your papa has put a lot of work in this party don't ruin it with a wolf appearance."

Mauli turns, but Ragini hold her from back.

"Mom I love you!" She kisses Mauli's cheek.
"I love you too my Baacha." Mauli left and Lucky too was gone from the balcony door.

Ragini was getting ready for the party, "what should I wear?" She was looking into her wardrobe, there she found a new dress, it was literally calling her to wear it.

"Oh wow! Who has brought me this one?" She was so happy and wore the dress.

Ragini was looking gorgeous, she was coming down the stairs, the party was going on at the garden. Ragini was looking for someone, when a hand comes in front of her.

"Papa!" She hugs her father as tight as possible.

"My princess come, your party is going on and I'm sure someone is coming to meet me. Although I don't like the fact that my little girl is growing to a beautiful woman. Yet I know a prince is waiting for you."

"After all She comes like her mother." A male voice comes from the garden.

"Good evening Sir. I'm Laksh the guest Ragini wanted to introduce you to."

Ragini was looking at him. Aww 🥰 why is he so handsome. I have to try to keep him away from me... shit he can read my mind. Ragini rolls her eyes.

Laksh smiles, he actually smirked and adjusted his collar, "Sir." He forwarded his hand and Ishaan shakes it.

"Nice to meet you." Ishaan was looking at him from tip to toe.

"Papa Let's go, the other's are waiting." Ragini hold both of them, they were on each side of her.

There was a feeling of jealousy and love at the same time.

Ragini was looking at the decoration of the party. Her eyes moister, "oh wow!"

"Papa it is so beautiful. Thank you so much!" Ragini kisses her father's cheek.

"I'm happy that my princess liked my party idea."

"And I'm happy that my girl wore the dress I brought for her." Laksh said and she kisses Laksh cheek in return for the dress, "a lot. Thank you!"

Again an awkward feeling between Ishaan and Laksh.

Ragini was looking at the cake and then her friends came to her, they all congrats her for her birthday.

"Ragini, happy birthday!" There was a voice unknown to Ragini.

Laksh too felt something wrong, a cold shudder run down his back.

Laksh was looking at him. Who is he? He was waiting for a response from Ragini, but there was nothing. He couldn't hear her nor could he read her mind. Strange her eyes color changed back to normal and she isn't responding. Why can't I hear anything?

"Hi I'm Veer." He hold her hand and kisses her hand back.

Ragini smiles, "thank you. I'm Ragini as you already know." She was looking at him, "by the way, who has invited you? I haven't seen you here before."

Veer smirks, "well no one invited me. I came by my own." He said to them. They felt strange, but the moment was gone soon.

Mauli came with the cake, "Ragini it is time to blow off the candles."

Ragini was happy, she forgot that Veer was there and rushed to her mother, "oh wow mom. Thank you so much, it's amazing."

Mauli was happy, she had invested hours in making the cake. She kisses Ragini's cheek and they were all waiting for Ragini, to cut the cake.

"By the way Laksh, what is your job?" Ishaan asked him and Ragini glares at him, "papa not yet!" She fumes and Laksh smiles at her angry attire.

"Ragini is a little bit overprotective about me. Sir, my job is it to protect."

Ragini looked at them, "Papa he is working in a security company and is a guard... a bodyguard." She sighs in relieve as she could cover up.

Ishaan nods looking at her, "is he, but I'm sure he can never protect you like I can."

Laksh smiles, "Sir, I'm the only one, who can protect her. Trust me. I respect you and your love toward her, but I'm the one for her, she is mine. My mate."

Ishaan and Mauli looked at him, "your mate?"

Ragini pulled Laksh to her, "Laksh just keep your mouth shut!" She was hell angry on him, "I don't know what is this, but don't talk to my parents like this, you know how much they mean to me." She was scolding him and went back to her cake.

Ragini was ignoring Laksh. She cut the cake and dances with her friends including the new guy, Veer.

Laksh didn't know what to do and how to react, there was never another man in her life before with whom he had to compete.

Ragini was enjoying the time, but then suddenly she felt something wrong, she was losing it, but she couldn't sort, what it was.

Ragini was looking for him, Lucky. Laksh was hiding behind a big tree, tears were rolling down his cheeks. She is my mate, then why is this connection so weak? I have waited for so long, but now all seems fading as if she isn't the one.

Ragini was crying too, all were looking at her. She was shaking, her heart was racing fast, "Laksh!" She shouts and he comes out from the tree.

Ragini rushed to him, "I'm sorry!" She hugs him tight and kisses his cheek again. Both were cupping the face of each other and wiping the tears away.

Ragini sniffs, "you ruined my make-up."

Laksh sniffs, "you ruined my coolness."

Both smiled looking at each other, till a hand pulled Ragini close. Laksh fumes, he made a fist, "leave her!" He growls at him.

Ragini widen her eyes, she was looking at an angry Laksh, who was controlling his shape.

Laksh was moving his head, "I said leave her!"

Veer smirks, "no, I won't. I have come to take her along with me." He laughs evilly, "do you think you can protect her, from me?"

Ishaan's blood was boiling, "leave the hand of my daughter now!" He shouts and all were looking at the angry eyes of him.

Laksh was looking at him too, but he couldn't see a wolf in him, neither he saw a wolf in Mauli.

Mauli rushes into the house, the guest got scared, they were all moving backwards.

"Ishaan here!" Mauli gave him a shotgun.

"Better you leave her hand, then you will be able to walk and leave as one piece or I will shoot at you." There was a father, who only wants to protect his daughter.

Laksh looked at him, "Sir, I will protect her. You all leave from here!" The guest left in seconds and Ragini was struggling to release herself, "leave me!" She bites on Veer's hand and he had to leave her hand.

Ragini runs to Laksh, "Laksh!" She hold him tight and he put her behind him, "stay here!" He was looking at Veer.

"Who are you?" The animal was speaking now.

Ishaan and Mauli were looking at them.

"I'm Vicky, like you I have come to find my mate. I guess she is mine now!"

The eyes of Veer changed into blue, but Laksh didn't cared about him.

"She is only mine, my Wolf girl."

Vicky shook his head, "She is powerful and I want her."

Both were standing in front of each other.

Ishaan and Mauli looked at Laksh, "Lucky?"

They could see the form he was changing his body and become a wolf, now they know he is a werewolf.

Lucky and Vicky were snarling, "you can't get her, she is mine!" Lucky said and started to attack him.

Vicky didn't mind it, he fought with him, Lucky got a hit, "ahh!"

Lucky turned and saw Ragini, how her hand was bleeding, he felt bad and rushed to her, licking the injury.

"She isn't yours I will get her, you are alone I'm not!" Vicky said and they all turned.
