Welcome. You are about to start a journey with Ash and Serena as you read though my book. This is my first book but with the grace of the general Amourshipping public and other Pokemon enthusiasts this book has done somewhat OK.

Before you dive in. First a few instructions. So that you can enjoy the book to the maximum.  Go through these guidelines carefully:

1) Be open. My book or rather my writing style has a hint of controversy in it. I like to play with the emotions of the characters and my readers to keep them interested in the book. So be open. It might not be exactly what you expect. But still be open. For instance many of my readers on collecting feedback from them revealed that they stopped reading because Calem was with Serena or that I had deliberately taken a character out of context. Seriously? I mean it is a story after all. To make it interesting sometimes for a duration a character may go out of context. The point is be open. Read through it even if you are not very comfortable with it. In many cases that slight out of character context will be a pivotal point in the ahead chapters. So please enjoy the book and don't stop reading it just because something comes along that you are not very comfortable with.

2) This book even though it has a lemon tag is not, I repeat not a smut book. It's written like a modern adventurous romance. And romances do tend to have physical intimacy. It's only natural. Even so, to ensure that people who are below age or don't read lemon on principle still can read the book. The book is written in a manner that all sexual scenes are enclosed in a subsection like this:

So people not comfortable. Go ahead and skip it. You can read the book without any problem.

ALL UNDERAGE PEOPLE WHO READ THE LEMON SCENES MUST DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. THE BOOK IS MATURE AND IF YOU ARE UNDERAGE THEN YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING INTO.

What I am trying to say that all such videos you'll encounter throughout the course of my book are soundtrack videos. They are inserted into the chapters to make what you are reading come to life. It's all for your elevated and comfortable reading experience. Yet many people as I have found from my readers' feedback don't even bother to play the music. Don't make the same mistake. Whenever you encounter such a video just click the play button, crank the volume to maximum and read ahead. You'll find it more entertaining and enjoyable to read.

Someone has just informed me that while it is possible to read the story and play the music(placed in the middle of the story and not the top) at the same time in PC. It is not possible to do so in mobile. I am sorry for the inconvenience if the mobile scenario is true. So for better reading experience it's preferable to read in computer screen rather than on mobile.

4) Length of Book and Style of writing: The book is updated at least once every week. It will be a long book for it written in a novel style. While the book is reasonably popular in the general opinion of my readers so far, you must read while not getting impatient. Keeping a level head is crucial to enjoying my book. Another thing to be kept in mind there are several places where I have touched upon something and not elaborated on it. This is by design to ensure that I can keep the reader guessing and in an attempt to drop revelation bombs on them so that I hope they literally go wtf when they read it.

Drama, Despair, Destruction and Delicacy are the 4 support pillars of my book. But those 4 pillars won't come into picture before chapter 27 . Amourshipping of course is the main pillar. So before you decide this book is too boring or not worth the effort. As a personal request try to make the effort to read halfway at least. Then all the intricate layers of mystery which I have built will start uncoiling themselves and make sense to you. If it still doesn't then do feel free to leave reading my book.

5) Commenting and Voting: I love having an interactive relationship with my readers. I expect them to vent out their feelings and comment to their heart's content. All comments whether positive or negative are welcome. You like something. Say you like it. You object to something like a character going out of context. Speak your minds. We're not savages that we can't take your opinion and give it the respect it needs. Point is don't be shy. Also you feel a chapter is good then as a personal request do seriously consider voting on the chapter. While I am not forcing you to do so but I hold the opinion that writers like myself who take out their valuable time and effort to write these chapter for your enjoyment do deserve your time and have the right to expect this much from you. If you are a first time wattpad user please find out how to vote and comment before you do start reading not just my book but anyone's book for that matter. If you like or enjoy a chapter then please vote on it. All this is for free. So I think this much consideration all writers should get.

MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER. THE STORY DOESN'T REALLY START TILL CHAPTER 27. 

MY BOOK IS DESIGNED DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BOOKS. I PREFER TO LET THE STORY START A FEW CHAPTERS LATER. MANY PEOPLE MIGHT SAY A STORY SHOULD BE INTERESTING AND EYE CATCHING RIGHT OF THE BACK OF CHAPTER 1, BUT I DON'T BELIEVE IN THAT PHILOSOPHY. IT IS MY BOOK AND I DO HAVE A RIGHT TO STRUCTURE IT THE WAY I WISH TO WRITE IT. YOU ARE WELCOME TO HAVE A DIFFERENCE IN OPINION.

FOR ME, READING IS LIKE COOKING. YOU ARE CREATING SOMETHING NEW. WHEN YOU POACH AN EGG YOU DON'T JUST DROP IT IN. YOU GENTLY PUT IT INSIDE. I PREFER TO FOLLOW A SIMILAR STRATEGY FOR MY BOOK. IT IS DIFFERENT AND FOR MY STORY IT HAS WORKED AT LEAST POPULARITY WISE. CAN'T SAY ANYTHING QUALITY WISE FOR THAT IS TOTALLY UP TO YOUR TASTES AND LIKES.

SO BEAR IN MIND WHILE YOU READ FROM CHAPTER 1 THE STORY WILL KICK OF IN CHAPTER 27. NOW IT DOESN'T MEAN THE 1ST 26 CHAPTERS ARE USELESS AND CAN BE SKIPPED. THEY CAN'T BE SKIPPED, FOR THE 1ST 26 CHAPTERS ARE LIKE A PREVIEW, A SETTING OF THE STAGE SO TO SPEAK. ONCE THE STAGE IS SET THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE SEE AS THE REAL PERFORMANCE STARTS TO UNRAVEL. IF YOU DIRECTLY SKIP TO CHAPTER 26 THEN YOU'LL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE HEAD OR TOE OF WHAT IT HAPPENING.

Before you proceed ahead. You might ask. What's with the weird title? "Tryst with Destiny" is actually a very famous speech delivered by Jawaharlal Nehru the first prime minister of our country after it gained independence. The title of my book pays homage to the people, sacrifice and the struggle which went into securing the freedom of my country. The struggle, sacrifice and other attributes will be in the book. But they will come at a much later stage. The book is about Ash and Serena's life so it will be long. But I hope you enjoy it. Author out.
