Barry watched as he shoved a hand into Patty's chest.

He wanted to sob, to scream, to stop it, but it was like something else was in control of his body.

He couldn't do anything.

And a deep, dark part of him thought they deserved this.

He knew that wasn't true, but it felt like it.

Either way, he was a murderer now.

And he couldn't stop.

After seeing Linda get kidnapped by the evil speedster, Iris was scared.

What if she was next?

Rationally, she knew the odds of that, but still.

It was possible.

When Linda didn't come back the next day, her paranoia got even worse.

What if her friend was dead?

And what did 'Tag' mean when he said The Flash was dead?

Was Barry actually dead?

Who was Tag?

And had Tag actually killed Linda and Patty?

Iris was a reporter.

She would search and ask questions until she found answers.

Tag was evil and cruel and wanted revenge.

Barry was sweet and kind and only wanted the best for people.

Right now, Tag was in control.

When the evil speedster entered the news station, they had a newfound fear.

"When I warn you, I'm not kidding," Tag said as he dropped the bodies on the floor.

The news crew gasped in horror.

"My next two targets will be Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak. Better run."

He smirked before running off, leaving the news team in tears from shock, fear, and disgust.

"Dear God help us all."

When Felicity watched the news that night, she was in shock.

What could she have possibly done to the speedster who lived in Central?

Or maybe it was because of her relationship with Oliver?

But what did Oliver do?

When Oliver watched the news that night, his first thought was Felicity.

Why would anyone hold a grudge against her?

Or maybe him?

But what did he have to do with an evil speedster in Central?

Surely Tag didn't know about his friendship with Barry.

Maybe that was why?

Doubtful, but possible.

How could he protect himself and Felicity from Tag? 

Maybe Barry could help?

Barry knew what he was doing.

Going after his failed relationships, two at a time.

First, it had been Linda, then Patty, then Felicity, then Len, then Oliver.

He had skipped Len because he wanted Len to be afraid.

To wonder why he was a target.

To run.

To scream.

Revenge would be sweet.

But first, Oliver and Felicity would die.

Oliver had checked the exact time of the broadcast.

Something told him that speedsters were exactly on time (minus Barry).

He gathered Felicity and William and brought them to a safe house.

He prayed it would be enough, but something told him it wouldn't be.

And that he was going to die soon.

He just prayed Felicity and Willaim would survive.

He would give his life for them.

Tag smirked.

They really thought a safe house would protect them?

Or the police?

The police had surrounded Oliver's safe house, and they all had special meta bullets made by Cisco.

Why would Cisco make them and give them to the police?

They could hurt Barry.

Barry was actually hurt.

Why would Cisco make another thing that could kill him!?

Didn't he learn the first time?

Maybe Cisco should be on his list...

It was time.

Tag ran to Oliver's safe house.

He ran so fast that the cops didn't even notice him.

He killed half of them (including people he knew from work) before phrasing into Oliver's safehouse.

He smirked at the scene.

Oliver was in his costume, bow aimed at Tag.

Felicity and Willaim were in the back, Willaim in Felicity's arms.

"Please don't hurt my parents," Willaim whispered.

"I'm just getting revenge, like your dad used to do. When I give away my identity, I don't really want any witnesses, and I don't want to kill any kids, so I have to run you two out of here."

He grabbed Felicity.

He heard Oliver yell in fear, but he didn't really care.

He dropped her in the same place as Linda and patty before running back for Oliver.

"Dad," Willaim said, tears filling his eyes.

"Willaim... please don't watch the news tomorrow."

Willaim nodded.

"I love you, Dad," Willaim said.

Oliver nodded. "I love you too, Will-"

He was cut off by Tag rushing in and grabbing him.

Willaim sobbed, knowing how unlikely it would be that he would ever see either of his parents again.

"Well, as adorable as that last goodbye was, I had to cut it short," Tag said, dripping with sarcasm.

"Now, you get to find out why I'm gonna kill you," Tag said.

He took his mask off.

Oliver and Felicity gasped.

It was Barry.

Felicity had been smart. She knew that she and/or Oliver would probably die tonight. 

So she stuffed a phone into the back pocket of her jeans.

She knew Oliver could probably keep him talking, so all she had to do was write it down and hit send.

For some reason, Tag had picked a place with Wi-Fi access.

When he took off his mask, Felicity couldn't help but gasp.

It was Barry, yet it wasn't.

He looked like Barry, but there was something in his eyes.

He looked wild and hurt.

And scared.

"Barry?" Oliver asked.

Tag nodded.

"Yep. You got me. In fact, you two are here for a very similar reason."

Felicity felt her heart break.

What happened to Barry?

"You both dated me. You kept playing with me and my heart," he pointed to Felicity before turning to Oliver, "and you raped me."

Felicity gasped.

Oliver looked down in shame.

"You raped him!?!?!" Felicity screeched, and in her rage almost forgot about the phone behind her back.

"It wasn't on purpose," Oliver muttered.

Barry just looked smug.

"Well, certainly didn't seem that way when I kept muttering stop," Barry said.

Felicity wanted to kill Oliver herself.

But she had a mission, and she was going to die in a few minutes.

She had to make them count.

"Enough with the small talk," Barry said.

"It's time to kill you both."

Right before Barry killed her, Felicity managed to hit send.

Cisco, it's Felicity. I'm being hunted by Tag, the speedster murderer on the news. It's Barry. Barry is Tag. Trace this phone and you'll find where he takes his victims before he kills them. Tell my mom I'm sorry for everything. Tell her I love her. And make sure I'm the last victim.

Tag never even found the phone.
