Lillian stepped off the hot sand into their large new house. They had bought a three bedroom house. Lillian's parents said God wanted them to get that one, but they weren't sure why he had three bedrooms for a couple and their daughter. But, Lillian did. She knew she made the right decision, because that extra room was for her baby.

Lillian and her parents sat in their new living room. Lillian said she had something to tell them. She took a deep breath, then started talking, and it all came out. The parties, drinking, smoking, and Blake. Her parents  were mad at her, Lillian could tell. But, she had one more thing to say. "I remembered what Aunt Megan said, so I got a test. I did the test, and... Two red lines appeared." She watched her parents faces, nervous for their reactions.

Her moms face looked shocked, but her dad was smiling. "I'm sorry! I drank way too much, or I would never have done any of this. I never wanted to get pregnant, I wanted to go to collage and have a life." Her mom hugged her. "Calm down sweetheart! We aren't mad." "You aren't?" Lillian asked, supprised. "No, we aren't. We are sad that you didn't make good choices, but we aren't mad. Do you know what you are going to do with the baby?" Her mom asked. "Yes, I'm going to keep it. I'm going to go to a collage in this town, so I can live here, and take care of my baby. I can take some of my classes online too." She said.

Her dad and mom pulled her into a group hug. "Whatever you need baby, we are here for you. Maybe you didn't make the best choices, but now, with His help, you are on the right path.

Awwww! I want to cry! Such a sweet ending...and this is the last chapter of Trying to Get Home! This book has been so much fun to write, and I love getting into Lillian's character. I will probably be going back through this book and editing it some point soon. Also... I have an exciting announcement. It's the answer to the question you are probably all asking.
