Lillian walked out to talk to her parents, renewed energy in her step. "Mom, Dad, I'm sorry I overreacted last night. It was a huge shock to me." She said. "That's ok sweetheart, we kinda expected it to be that way." He mom said. "When does the job start?" Lillian asked, walking over to the fridge to get some yogurt. "You aren't going to like this sweetheart." Her dad said. "Just tell me." Lillian said, slightly scared. "Hon, we have to be in Ventura, California on a week." Her mom said.

Lillian dropped her spoon, and her face showed she was shocked. "We know it's really soon and we ar..." "Did you say Ventura?" Lillian interrupted her father. "Well, yes, that's where we are going to be living." Her mom said. Lillian stood up. "May I be excused? There's something I have to do." Lillian said. Then she ran to her bedroom.

Lillian looked at the brochure again. Ventura, California. Suddenly, she knew God's plan for her. She, Lillian, was suppose to go to this collage, this was the one God wanted for her. She picked up the old slip of paper from her drawer, and crossed a word out. The one word that was left was her choice. Now she had packing to do.
