Chapter 13
Lillian walked home a couple hours later, crying. She was crying happy tears though. Lillian had just accepted Christ back into her life. She wanted to serve him now. She was ready to tell her parents. About everything.
"Lillian, we have some news for you." Lillian stepped into the house. "Um, ok." She said, looking at her mother. "Sweetie, your dad got a job!" Her mom said. "He did! That's great! They took him back?" Lillian asked excitedly. "Well, not exactly." Her mom said. "What?" Lillian asked, knowing she wouldn't like what's coming next. "Hon, he got a job in California." Her mom said. "We have to move." "No! No no no!" Lillian ran to her room and slammed the door behind her. She didn't want to move, that's for sure.
Lillian woke up the next morning and yawned. With a sigh, Lillian picked up the two pamphlets she had narrowed it down to. Maine Bible Institute was close to home. But, if they were moving... Then she picked up the other pamphlet. California Coast Bible Collage. In Ventura, California. Well, this one would be closer now, she realized. She sighed. Lillian had thought about the move, and she realized it might not be such a bad thing. She could get away from the three people she now wanted nothing to do with, and start over with a clean slate.
Hope you enjoyed! Have a great day my cupcakes!
