~Ayumi's POV~

I went to the address Natsu gave me. I looked up and saw an average house, in the same street where I live. I knocked and an elder opened. "Hello, can I help you?" the woman asked skeptically, raising an eyebrow.

It's looks like this isn't the first time a girl knocked.

Happens often, huh?

"Uhm, is this Renji's home?"

She nodded. "Are you his girlfriend?" I know I am blushing right now. I shook my head. "Just a friend, ma'am," I answered politely. I still can't consider each other friends, because we just saw each other five minutes, but I know we could be.

She went aside to let me pass. "Just go upstairs and the first door to the left," she spoke. I nodded and followed the directions I got. I knocked on his room and he opened the door. He was a little surprised. "H-hey Ayumi."

I smiled and I went inside. His room was simple, yet so original. I sat on a beanbag. He picked some food and offered me. I took a small bag of crisps. "So what do you want to do?" Renji asked. I saw a controller that belongs to a Ps4.

"Want to play a game on your PlayStation? And when we do that we could ask each other questions," I suggested. And again he was surprised. "Are you surely a girl?" I took that as an offend. "Yes, a girl can play too, you know," I scoffed. He looked at me daring. "Did you just challenge me?" I nodded competitively. "I did."

He smiled and picked two controllers. He started his Ps4 and he did some good FIFA game. "What happens when you lose?" I asked, determined to proof him wrong, that girls can play too. "The one loses has to post an embarrasing picture on Instagram." He said. I nodded, accepting it. I was loving it that we acted like we are good friends, while in reality we don't even know each other that well.

I was team France and Renji was team Germany. The game has started and we both wanted to steal the ball as fast as possible. "Favorite sport?" I asked, we were also asking each other questions. He looked confused for a second and then remembered it. "Soccer, you?"

"Handball. Your turn," I said and stole the ball from him. I passed all the other players that came to me. I did a high ball or whatever to my teammate and he scored in the crossing. "GOALL!" I said, doing a weird dance.

"Just lucky," he mumbled and I chuckled. The game must go on. I noticed he still didn't ask a question. "Where is your question?" I asked, still focusing on the screen. He was then suddenly playing bad when I asked it.
I smirked, figuring it out. He can't do two things at the same time... I can use that in my advantage.

I won with 6-2, wooohoee! I did a winning dance while Renji was complaining. He was groaning, not understanding he lost to me. "You cheated!!" Renji screamed.

I laughed, he can't accept his loss. I stuck out my tongue, making him scowl even more, but then he eventually chuckled too. "So... what were you doing with Natzzitieee?" he suddenly asked, breaking the silence.

"Natzzitieee?" I asked, who the hell is that?! But the name sounds familiar. "Oh, I mean Natsu," Renji shrugged. I laughed about the nickname and answered.

"Oh, he just wants to surprise his girlfriend with a date, so he asked me. Because his friends would laugh at him."

Renji smirked and went on his phone. "He finally found himself a girlfriend, huh? Who is the unlucky girl?"

I sighed, boys. "Lucy Heartfilia," I answered and he searched for her on Instagram. I heard a faint 'Not bad, but Ayumi is better' coming from him. I blushed, and pretended like I didn't hear. He shut his phone. "That lucky bastard, getting a pretty girl like that... he probably isn't even serious with her. I feel bad for the girl."

Are they really friends? Or rivals? But I couldn't ignore the fact that he was making fun of them. "No, he is serious. Nothing can come between them, so don't even think about it!" I half shouted. He looked surprised at my sudden outburst.

He raised his hands in a defend manner. "Chill, relax. I was only kidding. I know him, he wouldn't want to plan a date with someone other than his family, only if he cares a lot about that person he would have the guts to ask his friends about it."

I heard the sincery in his tone. I smiled, they're friends after all. We talked about a lot, like favorite things, food, colour and more. But I already knew half of the things, because Natsu told it. Childhood friends and they still know each other well. That's just beautiful.

~Nobody's POV~

Natsu was home from his meeting with Ayumi. His parents stood inside the hallway, you see them straight when you come inside. "Oh, hey mum, dad," Natsu greeted. His parents had a serious face, well mostly his mother.

"Where were you? School was out five hours ago," his father asked, actually sounding bored. Natsu forgot to tell his parents what he did. "I was just playing with Luce, and later I met with Ayumi," he explained.

"Natsu Dragon Etherious Firey Dragneel..." his mother began. Natsu swallowed, she only said his full name when it is serious. (Lame surnames, I know. Nobody cares anyway)

"... Are you cheating on Lucy?" she ended. Natsu sighed in relief, but then he became irritated. "Why does everyone think that? She is just a friend! I'm never going to cheat on Luce. Never," Natsu responded back. His whole face just tells he told the truth. His father could see the fire burning in his eyes when he said that. Not the kind of fire that burns everything that comes in the path of it... but a fire that grows stronger when you are to harm his family & friends, and totally if it is about the love of his life. The fire that wants to protect them all.

His mother saw otherwise. She saw the love look on his face. He was madly in love, lovestruck. Just by the look on his face shows he cares. If people just see him now, they can't never imagine he used to be a bully who wants people broken, to the point of switching schools, maybe even cutting themselves (Don't do that if you're depressed). But not to the point of suicidal.

Lucy was a great impact on his life. Nothing better ever happened. Grandeeney smiled and hugged him suddenly. Natsu was quite taken back of the action. "I know you will," she whispered soft in his ear. He hugged back and smiled. "I love you," Natsu said.

Igneel was emotional and hugged his wife and his son. "We love you too," Grandeeney and Igneel said in unison. Quite funny, how a serious, small chat could be so catching for them.

Next two days... (Thurday)

On school most people were talking about the upcoming Prom. They were all so excited. But Lucy was growing more and more jealous by the day. Natsu was always avoiding the question and when she asks, he just makes up an excuse, that is nowhere near believable.

Natsu on the other hand was planning everything for Lucy. He found a beautiful private beach and already paid it for Friday. He told his parents his plan and they just smiled. He asked them is they could set up the picknick while he was on the Prom. They nodded and they would do it when Prom was almost over.

Lucy told the girls about her problems and they just told her that it is nothing. Well, Mira told that the most, after all, she knew what Natsu was up too. It was the most romantic date for a girl, at least, that is what Mira thinks.

The girls decided to have a sleepover today, to relief all their stress for the Prom.

Lucy was waiting in her house, where the girls decided to sleep in. Later they arrived and Lucy even invited Ayumi to come.

"Hey girls," Mira said happily. They sat down in the living room, Luke had a business trip, so he is coming back tomorrow. They girls saw a new person in the group.

Lucy noticed the awkwardness and introduced her. "Ayumi, these are my friend: Mira, Erza, Levy and Juvia," Lucy began. "My friends, this is Ayumi."

They waved at each other and Mira smirked inwardly. She was the girl Natsu talked with.

Then the night began with games, make-over, truth or dare, just everything you do on a sleepover...

But Lucy was checking Natsu's Instagram and saw a new picture. It was with Ayumi and him in the coffie shop, smiling. The caption was: So much fun with this girl😄

Lucy bit her lip. What's wrong with him? You can't just abandon your girlfriend to meet with another girl you barely met.

Was he really cheating?

Lucy turned her phone off and joined the game. Tomorrow is the Prom, She won't let her evening be disturbed by insecurity. It is probably nothing, at least.

But if Lucy asked Ayumi what they were doing she would avoid it too...
