~Natsu's POV~

I blushed at Lucy's words. I never thought I was that important to Lucy. I saw her blushing too. I smiled at the thou—

"AND THE WINNER OF THE FIRST ROUND IS... NATSU AND LUCY!!" The presenter said. There were a lot of clapps from the stand.

I saw flashes too. Lucy and I looked where it came from and saw Mira with a big camera. "Don't mind me here," she said innocently.

I hugged Lucy and she did the same. I loosened the hug and looked at her. "Did you hear it? We won the first round," Lucy said excited. I nodded proud. "Yeah, we did."

We leaned in for a kiss. It was a simple kiss.

When we broke the kiss we heard 'awwwww' Lucy and I looked around, realizing that we were still here.

"AWW! WE SAW THE SWEET KISS BETWEEN LUCY AND NATSU," the presenter said.

Does he feel the need to scream everything?

Soon we saw all of our friends next to Mira. But what shocked me and Lucy was that Gajeel and Levy were holding hands.

I smirked and Gajeel saw it. "Don't say a word, you hot headed freak," Gajeel said and then blushed a little. I found it somewhere cute.

Lucy giggled and congratulated them.

"Alright, time for the next round..." he began, "Next is a difficult. YOU HAVE TO SMACK YOUR PARTNER. THE BEST SMACK WINS THE ROUND."

All the couples, including us, became confused. "WHAT THE HECK HAS THAT TO DO WITH ROMANCE?" some screamed. We all agreed and the presenter sweat dropped.

"I'm sorry. I get instruction to say it. I think the instruction means; if you slap your boy/girlfriend and they are upset, you have to comfort them, you have to smack proposely, but act like you did it by accident I think," he said putting his arms in front for protection.

We all sighed. "Oh right, the boy smacks the girl" he announced.

I saw in my eye corners that Lucy became angry. "But the girl has to smack the boy," she whined softly, arms crossing. I smiled and whispered in her ear: "Don't worry, it's going to be okay."

Then she smirked to me. "I am not afraid. Remember in the past, I used to get smacked a lot." My eyes showed like always guilt. I still can't forgive myself, even if Lucy says it isn't my fault, while it clearly is.

"Don't worry, I am not holding a thing against you," she whispered soft to me. I nodded and smiled a little.

"Wait! The boy has to smack the girl as hard as possible. And the girl must not cry, otherwise they lose the round. It will show who is the strongest couple. And we have stuff to check how hard the boy slaps," the presenter said.

"This is stupid," Lucy mumbled, clenching her hands.

~Nobody's POV~

All the friends of Natsu and Lucy watched in fear for Lucy. "Uhmm... Gray-sama. Can Natsu smack hard?" Juvia asked.

Gajeel nodded along with Gajeel. "As much I hate to admit, he beat us easily," Jellal said.

The girls' eyes widened and Mira wanted to run to Lucy. But Erza stopped Mira. "Let me go. Lucy is in trouble. Especially if Natsu gives it his all," Mira said, concerned for her friend.

"I know. But let's have trust in both Natsu and Lucy. If we go there, that just shows we don't have faith in them," Erza said looking at Natsu and Lucy.

Mira lost her will to struggle, she slowly nodded and went to Laxus who embraced her. "I don't want to watch," Levy cried, "I don"t want to see Lucy getting smacked hard."

"Everyone, have faith. I know they will succeed," Jellal said. They all nodded and went to watch.

Again Natsu and Lucy were last. Some girls already cried, making them lose the round. Only 4 couples made it. It was Natsu's turn to smack his girlfriend.

Natsu looked at Lucy worriedly. She only nodded, determined she won't cry.

"Natsu. I am sure. Just get over this. I won't hate you in a millions years." Lucy said to assure Natsu. Natsu nodded, convinced.

"Now we are going to see the winner of the last round. Begin."

Natsu breathed deep and turned to Lucy. She nodded, preparing herself. Natsu held his arms behind his back, getting all the energy he wants. Then he swung his arm to Lucy and lightly slapped her.

He couldn't do it. He couldn't hurt Lucy again.

"Luce, are you okay?" Natsu asked worried. He didn't slap her as hard as he could, he wouldn't.

"Why didn't you do it?" Lucy asked, her voice low.

"I can't," he responded, not caring a bit they lost this round.

"OMG NATSU DRAGNEEL CHICKENED OUT!" the presenter screamed like a girl. "Let's see who won this round.

"The winners are, as expected, Jayden and Evi." Then there were again claps.

Next was a race. And the boy must race with the girl on the back. It was in the woods, so there were a lot of obstacles.

Natsu and Lucy were taking the lead... but then Natsu did something stupid again. He didn't look forward so he tripped...

And they landed in the mud. Lucy smacked Natsu's head and they became last. Couple 2 won.

The next round they had to see who has the most control. So random boys flirt with the girls and random girls with the boys.

Lucy was hurt, but she had control of her jealousy. When is was over she smiled. And Natsu smiled too.

Then random boys flirts with girls. All the boys could control their jealousy, Natsu was another stroy.

By the first sentence of the boy to Lucy, he walked to them. He continued to flirt with Lucy so Natsu knocked him out. He embraced Lucy in a strong hug. "Mine," he growled. All their friend face palmed.

"Baka...." Lucy mumbled, but Natsu didn't care. Couple 5 won.

Next was an eat contest. Who can eat the most spicy stuff, they could choose who had to eat it, the boy or the girl.

The friends of Lucy and Natsu smirked. "They won't stand a chance against Natsu," Laxus said.

"Good luck," Lucy said to her boyfriend. He gave her a smug grin. "Don't need it."

Of course Lucy knew he wouldn't need it, but it's fine to say it. It was like the committee thought nobody could eat spicy stuff, well... they're wrong.

Natsu finished the whole thing in less then two minutes. Everyone was surprised, well surprised was an understatement. He didn't even need milk. Natsu walked to Lucy and they high fived.

"N-next round to Natsu and Lucy," the presenter said still in shock.

"AND THE WINNER OF THE EVENT IS NATSU AND LUCY. CONGRATULATIONS!!"

Fairy Tail High screamed and Natsu hugged Lucy. They smiled and got the rewards. The gave Makarov the jewels and went home.

Natsu and Lucy went to Lucy's house. They were still covered in mud. "We did it Natsu!" Lucy cheered and Natsu nodded happily.

"Yup, we won," he said. They brought the food inside and Natsu got the biggest part. "I wondered something," Lucy began.

Natsu looked up from the food, raising his eyebrow. "What?" he asked.

"How can you not gain weight. You eat so much, but you have a nice built body, not a fat one," Lucy said.

Natsu smirked and lifted up his shirt. "Touch them, if you want," he said. Lucy threw the nearest object to him. It happened to be his shoe.

Natsu had a big red bump on his head. He pouted. "It was just a suggestion," he mumbled.

"I'm going to take a shower," Lucy said and went upstairsx Natsu followed.

She went in her room and so did Natsu. It surprised him she didn't throw him out.

"Is there something wrong with you?" Natsu asked. She shooks her head, "Why?"

"Because you didn't throw me out of your room," he stated.

"It's okay. Everyone needs to be out their comfort zone once in a while," Lucy answered. Natsu gave her a toothy grin. "Thanks."

They were in the same room, but Lucy turned her back to Natsu and stripped. He couldn't complain, he was happy enough she let him. He wouldn't want to rush it.

He found every single thing of her perfect.

After shower it was already evening. "Natsu, can you sleep with me tonight?" Lucy asked out if the blue.

"Of course, you did not need to ask. I ws already planning it," he said, smirking. She blushed a little and went to bed.

He joined her and he did an arm around her waist.

Lucy looked at Natsu and went to his forehead. She kissed it softly. "Night."

He pouted. "I want a good night kiss on my lips," he said pointing to his lips. She smiled and gave him a peck on the lips.

And they went to sleep.
