Deja Vu.

A strong sense of deja vu filled him up, making his vision go splotchy and fear cripple at his skin; causing his spine to straighten in a shudder.

'Pit-pat'

'Pit-pat'

'Pit-pat'

He shrugged in annoyance, tugging the collar of his sweater in hopes he'd stop sweating.

''Donghyuck!''

Said male flinched; turning around to the sight of Taeyong; his dearest brother Taeyong, standing with his arms stretched, waiting to engulf him in a bone crushing hug.

Affection.

''H-hyung?''

Something was wrong. Donghyuck could sense it, something was very wrong, but he didn't care.

There was disorder in his surroundings. He could see it.

The wind was eerily cold; freezing Donghyuck's sensitive skin at the slightest touch, and it was quiet, way too quiet for a house celebrating the birthday of it's eldest child. But that wasn't the worst; most saddening part. The worst part was the longing, teary eyes of his youngest brother; Jisung.

It annoyed him, honestly. Whenever Donghyuck would try and show his affection to his elder brother; Jisung would look at him from behind the door, his lips curled down into a frown and entire exterior shaking; as if trying to suppress a sob.

'Why can't he just let me be happy?'

Donghyuck would ask himself and try to ignore him. Yet nonetheless, unable to bear the agony the painted itself on the youngers face, the male would hesitantly detach himself from Taeyong; holding back from jumping back in his arms when tears of sadness graced his eyes; brown orbs staring him down; telling a story no book could ever.

But this time; the latter didn't care; he had no reason to care, Jisung could go die in a ditch. It had been what? About two months since he last saw his elder brother; let alone embrace him.

Getting him again felt like a blessing, one where Donghyuck couldn't help but cry as Taeyong ran his fingers through his hair, their pads softly rubbing against his scalp and sending tingles down his spine, in a way that was extremely eerie yet comfortable enough to bear.

Donghyuck breathed in the scent of Taeyongs worn out sweater, blinking back his tears and pushing him down on the sofa before jumping down next to him.

''Hyung?''

A soft hum echoed through the room, and Donghyuck shuffled around under Taeyongs arms', sitting straight and trying to maintain eye contact with him, only to reflexively look back down the minute Taeyongs empty, dull gaze met his'.

''Where were you?''

Nothing had prepared him for the heartbreak that came next; as Taeyong forcefully locked teary eyes with him.

A hand made it's way up to the males neck, and a heavy silence took over the room, all but knocking the air out of Donghyucks lungs.

Suffocating. Hyung; you're suffocating me, hyung, please-''

He tried to speak; he really did. But how could he when Taeyong longed for his death, to finally be with him.

So Donghyuck let him knock the air out of his lungs; drifting slowly into eternal sleep, pushing back the immense pain that accompanied cut off Oxygen.

''I'll make you happy, hyung. I will, I swear-''

And just as soon as the cold, freezing hands clutched his neck, they retreated; making Donghyuck inhale a deep breathe, solely to sooth out his pain.

''W-wha-''

The younger moved forward in tries to embrace the elders dissapearing form, but was held back when a pair of arms wrapped around his waist, tightly gripping at his sides.

''Hyung!''

Jisung cried out, pulling a fussy and fidgety Donghyuck back into his arms, only to be stopped by him harshly elbowing his stomach.

''WHAT?''

Donghyuck screamed, escaping his arms as Jisung stumbled back in shock, clutching his stomach.

''Hyung-''

'Hyung. Hyung? Don't call me that, rat.'

''Don't ever call me that again! You're Jealous! You're always jealous that I get to be closer to Taeyong hyung than you! You always try to seperate us using your sad facade! Do you know how annoying you are?!?''

Donghyuck screamed at the younger, almost moving him to hysterics if it wasn't for the fact that he was here to help his brother, not cry infront of him.

So; the taller bit down his bottom lip in order to control the sobs threatening to escape, and stood straight, taking in the heart wrenching sight of a weak, vigorously shaking Donghyuck.

''Dead.''

His voice came out as venomous, filled with hatred for the dead soul that imprisoned his once sweet, cheery brother in a cage of madness and melancholy.

''Lee Taeyong. Is. Dead.''

Deja vu.

A strong sense of deja vu filled Donghyucks senses as he lunged at Jisung, balling the collar of his shirt into one of his fist and launching the other at his face; all while screaming out in a mixture of anger and forced oblivion.

''He's not dead!''

Anger.

Donghyuck threw the younger on the couch, maniacally smiling as his head hit the hard surface of the armrest, lolling to the side with blood visibly dripping from his hair.

A maddening smile graced his features as he grabbed a spare glass cup resting on the coffee table, lifting it up and aiming straight for the forehead.

Clink!

The sound resonated through the room, making him grin from mouth to ear.

Happiness.

Donghyuck giddily wheezed, finding it hard to breath in his little outburst of laughter, before running out of the room and into the empty, eerily silent hallways with an indescribable feeling, somewhere between the lines of anticipation and eagerness.

''Hyung.''

He called out, shivering as his voice bounced off the walls and hit his eardrums, echoing for minutes after.

Dread.

Dread filled his body again, and the air froze in it's place, the hallways suddenly too close for Donghyuck to breath properly.

''Hyuckie.''

The nickname rolled off Taeyongs tongue with ease, hitting in all the right places.

Taeyong was back for him. He cared.

''H-hyung-''

Donghyuck turned around in his place, breaking down at the sight of those same, dull eyes, glinting with unsubtle greed.

'I missed you, hyung, so much.'

He tried to speak, he really did, but was unable to do as he instinctively ran straight into the elders arms, forcing his hands around his neck.

Whimpers followed after, Taeyong confusedly letting Donghyuck handle his hand, feeling strangely happy each time he pressed harder, the color slowly draining out of his face.

''Wan- make 'ou-''

He struggled to breath.

''Ha-happy-''

Shut.

Donghyuck proceeded to shut his eyes for the last time, cherishing the fading sight of his hyung, looking at him with utmost adoration.

Thud!

The body's head hit the floor, in a way that should've been painful if the man was even alive.

''Thankyou, Donghyuck. Thankyou for making me happy.''

From behind him, Taeyong could smell the blood of his youngest sibling, who, too, would now join him and Donghyuck in their own world of the dead; not a single care of those they left behind.

''Good morning, netizens of Korea, it's Kim Jina speaking, here to deliver the headlines for 12th July, 1999.

It has been reported that yesterday, on Neo street, the inhabitants of house number 7, two half siblings, Lee Donghyuck and Park Jisung were found dead. According to further investigation, it has been revealed that the two had fallen into a serious arguement, which unfortunately turned into thirst for blood as the elder of the two, Lee Donghyuck, not only beat his brother up, but after he was deemed unconscious, struck a glass cup straight to his head, killing him instantly.

But the story doesn't end there, as he then committed suicide by choking himself.

The bodies were found earlier today by their neighbor, Jung Jaehyun, who claimed that since the agonizingly abusive death of their eldest brother, the two have had on and off problems.

Yet unfortunately, not much has been found about the backstory of this homicide, nor suicide. We'll make sure to inform netizens if we find out anything else. Stay tuned, stay safe, Goodbye!''

''DUDEEEEE, THAT WAS SUCH A SAD ENDING OMFG NO-''

''SOHYUN. CAN YOU LIKE, SHUT UP? YOU'VE BEEN CRYING OVER DONGHYUCKS DEATH SINCE DONGHYUCK LIKE,,,,, D I E D!''

''MY MAN DON'T DESERVE THAT THOUGH''

''I mean, to be honest, Lee Minseo is an A+ Actor, can't relate, haha''

Nara reached her hand into the popcorn bowl, filling her mouth til she looked like a Squirrel before setting it back down.

The two girls shifted their positions, so Sohyun was laying on her back with her head on the armrest, whilst Nara sat on the others legs, both feeling a rollercoaster of emotions as the credits of the drama rolled.

''Yo, Ra?''

Nara looked up from her zoned out state, locking eyes with Sohyun and letting out a confused hum.

''What if this is based on a true story?''

'Well, it could be.'

She thought to herself before scoffing and shaking her head, deeming it too unbelievable to be believed in.

''Nahhh, that's like- way too gore and stupid. I mean- no one would be dumb enough to not know that Jaehyun was the one who killed Taeyong. There were cameras in the house, for God's sake!''

''Well- they were brok-

........ Unless?''

Sohyun's breathe hitched as she stared back at the television, harshly grabbing the other's arm and motioning her to do so too.

The two stayed quiet for a while, as Red Velvet's hit song, and OST of the drama, ''Psycho'' played in a hushed voice, the screen showing a single sentence in the very middle; one that knocked the girls' breathes out of their lungs.

''Based on the true story of infamous actor; Lee Minseo's deceased father; Lee Donghyuck.''
