Chapter Three: Supermodel In A Wedding Dress
"Alright, John," said Ringo, clasping his hands together, making his rings clatter. "Truth or dare?"
"No one's done a truth yet, so... truth," said John, leaning in to hear the question.
"Uh... how would you feel about going back to art school?" Ringo asked, since he has actually been wondering for quite awhile now.
"I NEVER WANT TO GO BACK THERE AGAIN!" John shouted, breathing heavily and trying to calm himself down. His three friends jumped in shock.
"Huh. Alright then..." Ringo said, biting his bottom lip.
"Right... Paul, truth or dare?" John asked once he had relaxed.
"Tru... no, actually, dare," said Paul, folding his arms and playfully giving John a challenging look.
"Ooh, I have a good one!" John said eagerly. "I dare you to dress and act like Elvis."
"Ha! This I have to watch!" George giggled, sitting up straighter, his eyes lit with excitement.
Paul stood up and dragged himself to the bedroom. Soon, he came back out, but definitely looked different. He was dressed just like Elvis, and he posed and did a few dance moves (some of them making him slip and fall). John, George, and Ringo decided to play along, swooning over him and screaming like fan girls.
Paul sang:
Love me tender,
Love me sweet,
Never let me go
You have made my life complete,
And I love you so
Love me tender,
Love me true,
All my dreams for fill
Oh my darling, I love you,
And I always will
His three friends all applauded and screamed, whilst Paul bowed with a smirk. Soon, he was back to the way he was dressed before, but he, John, Ringo, and George were all still laughing.
"Right," Paul gasped, catching his breath. "Ok, Georgie, truth or dare?"
"Truth," George replied. "I mean, dare. No, no, truth! No, not truth, dare! Uh, I mean-"
"PICK ONE ALREADY!"
"Dare!" George finally decided.
"I dare you to... eat a whole pie without using your hands," Paul chuckled.
"BEST. DARE. EVER!" George cried, sprinting to the kitchen to find himself a pie.
"Let's time him too," John suggested, pulling out his watch. "I want to see how long it takes him to eat it all."
"Perfect," Paul said, a ghost of a smile playing at his lips.
George returned with a huge coconut cream pie, placing it on the table and staring at it with loving eyes. His mouth watered as he hid his hands behind his back.
"Ok, I'm ready," he said, excited to dig in.
"Get set... GO!" John yelled, keeping his eyes on his watch, timing the lead guitarist.
George squished his face into the creamy pie, taking large bites and plastering his whole face with cream. In under fifteen seconds, two quarters of the pie had vanished.
"Boy, we have a mess to clean up," Ringo muttered.
Soon, the whole pie was gone. There wasn't a single crumb, and George had licked all the cream off. Paul and Ringo stared, awestruck.
"How long was that, John?" George asked, breathless.
"Forty seconds," said John, wide-eyed. "You sure can eat."
"Yes, yes I can," said George, wiping his face, which was dripping with cream.
Once he had cleaned up, the four lads were seated on the ground in a circle once again.
"Ok, George, your turn," Paul said, still shocked after the whole pie situation.
"John," said George, turning to the rhythm guitarist. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare me, Georgie son!" John challenged, a cackle escaping his lips. "Bring it on!"
"Hm," said George, staring at the wall in thought. "I dare you... oh! I've got one! Paul, Ringo, c'mere. I need you for this."
The drummer and the bassist slowly nodded, confused. They followed George into another room, leaving John to wait in the living room. He sighed and leaned back, closing his eyes, deciding to take a nap while he waited. But it wasn't for too long, because soon they returned with a long white wedding dress, high heels, and a diamond necklace. John raised his eyebrows at his friends.
"Care to explain?" he said, jumping to his feet.
"I dare you to wear this very girly outfit!" George said with a cackle, shoving the dress and accessories into John's hands.
"Are. You. Serious."
"Yup! Now, get dressed pretty boy!"
Sighing, John trudged to the bedroom, dressing himself in the wedding dress and slipping on the high heels. He was much taller when he stood up, and the dress was scratchy and uncomfortable. The shoes made his feet hurt as well. Groaning, John placed the diamond necklace around his neck before shuffling back to the living room.
Paul, George, and Ringo turned, immediately dissolving into fits of laughter. John posed and said in a very awful high pitched voice, "I look so fab, don't I boys?"
"I only dreamt to see John Lennon wearing a dress!" Ringo gasped, literally rolling on the floor.
John didn't know it, but Paul had secretly taken a picture of him and sent the picture to his wife, Cynthia. He mischievously smiled and stuffed the camera away, acting as though nothing had happened.
After about five minutes of posing and acting like a supermodel, John changed out of the scratchy dress and back into his usual suit.
"Boy, this is quite an interesting day, eh lads?" he sighed dramatically, grinning at his friends.
"I'll say," George agreed.
