"Leona, you are so brave. This is a very deep bite. You are lucky to be alive" Jerilyn continued to inspect the Kitefin Shark bite.
"We are going to keep you in here for a few nights. How did you walk here?"
"Falcon carried me."
Leona looked at Falcon with a weak smile on her face. Falcon grinned back at his friend.
"I will bandage this up for you." offered Alston. He began to wrap up Leona's wound. Leona felt extreme pain drifting up her leg. She had to stay strong. After Leona's leg was covered in bandages, Alston and Jerilyn walked out, "We will leave you four to chat now." they exited the small hut and walked over to their hut.
"Leona, no offense but that bite looks horrible" Kai muttered.
"No offense taken." Leona looked fed up.
"Leona, I would do anything for you, so, is there anything you want me to do?" Falcon looked down at Leona, lying on a hammock.
"There is one thing." she said in excitement.
"Sure, what is it?"
"Ever since I got the dare to find the Aitangi locket, it has been my dream to see it in real life."
"Umm... I meant something that is possible." Leona's face darkened at his words.
"Fine, I'll see what I can do." he chuckled.
Her face lit back up with her contagious smile, causing everyone else to also smile. Falcon rested his hand on Leona's shoulder. He was very glad that she was grinning, he just did not know how he would get the Aitangi locket. It was impossible. What had he started? Leona put her hand on Falcon's and looked up at him. She was glad that she had people in her life that cared about her so much.
"Thank you all so much. If it wasn't for you, I would probably be dead."
"No problem Leona!" they all said.
"I'm going back to the rocks, I need some fresh air." Astra looked overwhelmed and her face was red.
"I'll come too." Kai turned to Astra.
"Okay."
They walked out of the door and back over to the rocks.
"Great," thought Falcon, "Now I will have to try and start a conversation."
"Thank you, Falcon." Leona sat up.
"Oh... uhhh... no problem."
Without thinking, Falcon sat by the hammock and put his hand on Leona's.
"I REALLY MESSED THAT UP! WHAT DID I JUST DO!" thought Falcon, he tried to show on his face that he was meant to do that.

Meanwhile outside...

Astra and Kai walked over to the rocks and sat near each other. Kai had a crush on Astra. He had for years. He was too scared of asking her out and getting rejected or messing up and embarrassing himself in front of her. He also knew that Falcon had a crush on Leona. He also had for years. Falcon and Kai frequently talked about asking them out at the same time or going on double dates. Maybe this was Kai's chance?
"Uhhh... Hi Astra."
"Hi!"
"You uhhh... look nice today."
"Aww thank you!"
They sat in silence for a while.
"Uhhhh."
