Michael: hi, Luke?

Luke: yes it's Luke

Michael: great, what's up?

Luke: well

Luke: it's kind of embarrasing

Michael: I doubt that

Luke: you see, I thought I just moved so quickly?

Michael: what? You regret asking me out?

Luke: no no not at all

Michael: then what do you mean?

Luke: I just think that I asked you out so quickly, like maybe I should get to know you well first?

Michael: are you nervous?

Luke: ...

Luke: yes

Michael: is it maybe you aren't ready for dating someone yet?

Luke: no no I'm so ready to start dating

Michael: you can tell me

Luke: no, I'm just stupid

Michael: you are confusing me Lukey

Luke: I just don't think I'm good enough for you. Like I think you'll hate who I am

Michael: why would I hate you? I've seen you

Luke: yeah, but not like the me me ya know?

Michael: me me?

Luke: you've seen me but not me

Michael: so I have only seen me?

Luke: yeah

Michael: well I really wanna know you Luke

Luke: would you really want that tho?

Michael: yup

Luke: 100%

Michael: 200%

Luke smiled as a tear slipped down his cheek. He wanted Michael to like him for who he was and he wanted him to not know about his fame.

Luke: okay then :)

Michael: should we just start by doing cool stuff?

Luke: what kind of cool stuff?

Michael: ya know, fun stuff like going to carve pumpkins, go to a fun fair and move on from there?

Luke: I'd love too

Michael: wanna go to the fun fair then?

Before Luke typed 'yes' he thought about where they would go. He would be recognized easily!

Luke: well since Halloween is this weekend, how about Hell fest?

Perfect! Luke thought. You had to dress up in a costume and no one would recognize him!

Michael: yeah sure! I didn't know you like horror so much :)

Not perfect! He hated horror! Why did he say that!?

Luke: yeah I like Halloween :)

Luke face palmed himself. Why you gotta be like that?

Michael: great! Don't forget to look spooky when I see you! 8?

Luke: oh I won't! See you at 8 :)

He had two days! Two days to find a costume. He went online to look for some inspiration.

He jumped onto his bed and grabbed his phone. He layed on his stomach as he typed in 'halloween costumes' on pinterest.

Luke firstly wanted to go as a basic vampire, but then saw the perfect costume!

He looked up the nearest location of the store and got dressed quickly.

He was excited as he went into the store. He looked around for a bit as he saw many cool stuff and also many..interesting stuff.

He couldn't find the costume so he decided on asking.

"Hey, uhmm I saw you had this costume online and I wanted to buy it but..I just can't seem to find it" Luke said to a guy standing behind the cashier.

"You go all the way to the back and then to the right, you'll see it hanging" the guy said.

"Okay..thanks" Luke said awkwardly. He felt kind off uncomfortable but decided on shrugging it off as he walked towards his costume.

He saw it! It looked perfect!

But how was he supposed to get it? He sure was tall but not tall enough. Luke jumoed as he teached up.

"Need any help" the cashier suddenly said and Luke awkwardly fell over a small stool besides him out of shock.

Where the hell did he cane from!? Why didn't he hear him?!

"Uhh, yeah!?" It came more out as a question for Luke.

The guy chuckled as he held out his hand for Luke. He took it and got pulled out by the guy. When he was on his feet again he stared into his eyes. He felt like he knew him.

"Do I..do I know y-"

"So this one!?" The guy said as he grabbed a pole with a hook attached to it.

"Uhmm yeah" Luke said as he just stood there.

The guy handed it to Luke and put away his hook. "Thanks.." Luke said as they guy stood close. Luke was unconfortable and took a step back as he chuckled nervously.

Before the guy made another movement.

"I want to pay!" Luke almost yelled. He just blarred that out. He couldn't resist it.

"Please" Luke said as he breathed out and smiled fakely. Wow he was good at that.

The guy nodded. "Alright, follow me" the guy said as he walked to the cashier.

Luke bit his lip as he fiddeld with his fingers. The guy layed down the costune and typed something away into his cashing machine.

Luke looked at all the scary masks on the wall. There was this one mask that Luke thought was the most creepiest thing.

It was a gas mask. Luke hated those things. Even when it was the most simpelest thing he felt creeped out. He could already hear the heavy breathing trough the gas mask as a per-

"Sir?" The guy said snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Oh uh yeah sorry" Luke said as he took out his wallet.

"That will be 35 dollars please" The guy said as he smiled. "Here you go" Luke said as he handed the money. He quickly grabbed his costume.

"Keep the change!" Luke said as he smiled fakely and made it for the door.

When he had made it to his car he thought about how this costume wasn't worth all this.

Luke quickly pulled out the parking lot and went straight home.

Luke loved these days. Luke loved the days that he could sit in his pajamas with his favourite snack and watch how I met your mother on netflix.

His 'date' was tomorrow and Luke felt excited about it.

He hoped Michael felt the same..
