Before he could reach rock bottom, he got pulled up again. Luke couldn't really see who it was.

Luke stared at the dark bottom of the sea before he got dragged up above the water surface.

He gasped for air, the same went for Michael.

Luke felt guilty as he looked at Michael with his glossy eyes. Luke felt like an embarrasment for being seen as an alcoholic. Especially now that Michael had pulled him back up.

He was ashamed of himself.

Michael had a thight grip around Luke's waist as he dragged Luke out the water and gently layed him down on the sand.

"Are you crazy!" Michael yelled.

"You could've died!" Michael said.

"Michael I-"

"Why were you in the water Luke?" Michael asked cutting Luke off.

"I need to confess..a couple things" Luke then suddenly said. He had to confess now and not later.

"What things?"

Luke stared up at the sky. His body felt a bit numb from the cold.

"I won't lie anymore about my identity" Luke said and sighed.

"I'm Luke Robert Hemmings, a model of Hadid Rose..." Luke said as he bit his lip.

"Hadid- how could I be so stupid! That's one of the most famous modeling companies" Michael said as he rubbed his forehead.

"It's not your fault Mikey, I was just scared on how you'd react.." Luke said placing his hand on Michael's shoulder while sitting up.

"That's why I didn't show you my house..I was scared because.."

"You thought I'd be with you for your money and fame" Michael said finishing Luke's sentence.

Luke swallowed harshly.

"I love you Luke Hemmings, romantically and not for your money" Michael said as he then looked away.

Luke saw Michael's face and felt bad. Very bad for not telling him.

"I'm sorry Mike" Luke said as he scooted closer to Michael.

"Luke it's fine" Michael said as he wrapped his arm around Luke. Michael could now smell the liquor that was left. Luke had been drinking a lot lately..

It then was silent. Luke loved Michael holding him. It was like no one could hurt him then.

Luke layed his head on Michael's shoulder. "I hate myself.." Luke mummbeled.

"Don't say that Luke" Michael said as he stroked Luke's cheek.

"But I do.." Luke said as he leaned in more to Michael's touch.

Michael turmed to look at Luke. "Why do you hate yourself?" Michael asked. Something was really wrong.

"I failed you, my job and many more people.." Luke said as he started to breathe heavier.

"What do you mean you have failed me? I'm still here and I won't go..I love you too much" Michael said grabbing Luke's hand.

"That's my point Michael, I'm not scared of you leaving me. I just don't get why you would be with me and stay..." Luke said croaking out.

Michael looked at Luke for a second. "I stay because you own a very special place in my heart. I stay because you accept me for who I am including me having a daughter.." Michael said as he rubbed Luke's back.

"I stay because you make me feel happy in ways I have never felt before. That's why you're so fricking special to me I-"

A sob left Luke's mouth. Michael's eyes widened. "Come here baby" Michael said as he pulled Luke over his legs and then in between his legs.

Luke broke into a million pieces as Michael wrapped his arms around his front and pressed Luke against his chest.

"Oh Luke" Michael said as layed his head on Luke's shoulder. Michael pulled his legs up, wrapping Luke up in the cocoon of his warmth.

Michael couldn't do anything else, but to hold Luke even thighter.

"M-Michael..please make it go away"

"Make what go away?"

"The pain"
