The little heirs

Noah Jupe as young Alexander

Meika Woollard as young Zara

[][][][][][][][][][][][]

A year after Alexander was born a princess was born, Zara Regina Martha Talia al Ghul Wayne was born into the world in the late of June. The couple named her after her meaning, an Arabic name meaning princess and radiance, Adora and Damian's little princess.

The little princess did inherit some features and things of her parents, like her mother's kind personality and the need to help people when necessary, her smile, Damian's fiery attitude of determination as well as her love for animals, but there was something else about her, a person she represented more...

Talia, her grandmother.

Oh yes, her looks, her luscious brown hair, emerald eyes, personality wise, everything. Though yes she has touches of her parents, she was cunning, manipulative, everything you could  imagine of Talia.

The birth of the little princess sparked Talia as though she loved Alexander, her love for Zara was miraculous; clearly evident her favourite child. She saw everything in Zara that she saw in herself as a younger person.

She got her way whether others liked it or not, knew when to exit battles when they could not be won.

"Daddy," the five year old Zara looked up at her father.

"Yes 'amira?" he said as he read through files in his office.

"Can I have another cookie?" she asked putting on her polite innocent face.

"I'm sorry 'amira but it's late now, you know the rules-," he stopped as he looked down at his daughter doing puppy eyes.

Unlike Grayson or her uncle Jon she had truly mastered the puppy eyes, just looking at her eyes you could see every cute thing all mushed up and stuffed into emerald jewels.

"But-, b-, but, daddy, pleassseeee," she begged and Damian sighed.

"One cookie," he said kissing her forehead.

"And what about Alex? It wouldn't be fair, right?" she tilted her head slightly.

"Of course, alright," he sighed as she skipped out as he shook his head.

"Did it work?" Alex said and he nodded her head, "Good job Zee,"

Alexander, or Alex was much more different to Zara his right hand in everything. He was a leader, the executioner; just like his name that was given to him he was a conqueror, a true leader. Though many expected him to be like his father he did have some essence of his mother, yes he was cold at first but he did stood up for what was right, his mother's quality of leading an entire army behind him, he was true mix of his mother and father, a natural born leader.

Speaking of which his mother, they say a son just wants to impress his father. For Alex it was his mother, he absolutely adored his mother, he would do anything to grasp his mother's attention. Zara had Talia, and Alex had his mother.

"Zee, climb up there and get the jar," he said as Zara looked up at the tall shelf

"How will I get down?" she asked nervously imitated by the tall shelf.

"I'll catch you, I promise," he assured her and she nodded as she climbed onto the marble benchtop, then one by one the shelves as she reach on her tippy toes for the jar.

"I got it!" as she dropped it and he catched it, looking down Zara's adrealine gushed through her.

"Zee jump down,"

"I'm scared," she cried

"Zee look at me," he said calmly and she did, "I'll catch you, you... you just have got to have a little faith," he said as Zara breathed in.

"One... two... three!" and she jumped down and like Alex said he managed to catch her in his arms.

"We did it!" she beamed as Alex started to chuckle as Zara ruffled his touseld ebony locks.

"What are you two doing?" a voice came as the two turned around to reveal their mother.

"Mama! Your back!" Zara rushed into her mother's arms.

"Mom!" Alex than tackled the both of them as they laughed.

"What happened to no cookies after eight?" she asked

"Daddy said we could," Zara said

"Did someone do puppy eyes?" Adora narrowed her eyes playfully as Zara giggled.

"Now, who came up with this plan?" Adora asked as she looked at Alex.

"Me," he said confidently

"Hmm, I should be angry you but... not bad at deceiving Batman," she said as she pulled them closer.

The two siblings were quite close, very close, they depended and needed each other. When Zara got scared Alex would come to her room and sleep with her in her pile of elaborate stuffed toys.

Adora passed by her children's rooms, she glanced at Alex's room, the now seven year-old boy was reading art of war, a great book for the next leader of the family.

"Alex," she opened the door glancing as her son was reading on his bed.

"Mom," he smiled as he closed his book,

"You okay?" she asked

"Yeah, I'm almost finished with the book,"

"Don't you have homework?"

Unlike Damian and Adora's lives they decided they wanted the kids to try and have a normal life as possible, as well as balancing the hero and civilian life out. In the holidays they would spend two to three weeks with their grandmother in the fortress training, not as harsh as Damian's one of course.

"I finished it, an hour ago actually," he said as Adora looked at his desk to see all the books carefully stacked on his desk.

"Oh, I see," she smiled as she heard something from Zara's room, "What in the world?-, oh love you Alex, Zara!"

Approaching Zara's room a barbie doll's head flew across the room, in fact many dolls lied across the room with out their heads. Zara was dressed in a red princess costume with a golden tiara in her head as she stood in front of her head with stuffed toys all dressed up in red ties and skirt accessories all lined in a straight row behind her.

"OFF WITH HER HEAD!" She shouted as she threw the doll in the air and threw a dagger, perfectly, at the right time as it snapped the head off slicing it in mid-air.

"Sweety," she said shocked at her daughter's actions, most girls would love to have many dolls and stuffed toys but Zara, well...

"Yes mommy?" she turned to her mother,

"Sweety why are you killing, no harassing your poor dolls?" she asked, "and where did you get that dagger?"

"Eima (Aunt in Arabic) Mara gave it to me," she said completely clueless.

"Shouldn't you be playing with your dolls, like dressing them up, playing pretend?" she said as her eyes seemed to furrow.

"That's boring, this is much more fun," she said as then continued her 'game'

"Damian!" she called as Damian came down the hallway,

"Yes?" he said

"Look at this," she said as they observed their daughter decapitate her dolls.

"What? She's playing?" he shrugged and Adora just blinked.

"She's decapitating dolls!"

"That seems normal,"

"DIE! OFF WITH HIS HEAD!"

"She's killing her dolls,"

"They're plastic,"

"Daddy," she went up to them standing in front of them.

"yes my love?" he said,

"I ran out of dolls,"

"And what do you want me to do about it princess?"

"Can I get more dolls please?" she pleaded

"Sweety you can't more dolls if you can't treat them with respect," Adora bent down,

"But there plastic?" Zara said confused,

"Yes but you should treat everyone and everything with respect,"

"But I want more dolls," she then turned to her father,

"I'll just order more dolls for her beloved,"

"So where are they?" she spun around,

"Sweety we need to buy them first,"

"Oh, so what am I gonna do?" she said

"Play something else," Adora said as she got a notification from her strece, and Damian returned to his office on the second floor.

Zara stood there, thinking what to play next.

"Oh yes!" she beamed as she went out in the hallway seeing two maids,

"Excuse me," she asked politely remembering her manners, "Can you help me set up a tea party in my bedroom, and some snacks?"

"Of course miss," they bowed and did so.

"Alright people," she said as she then skipped down the hallway to her older brother's room then knocked.

"Hey Zee," the boy opened the door,

"Alex can you please play with me? I'm having a tea party!" she asked

"Well...,"

"Please!" she begged.

"Okay," he sighed

"Yay!" she then saw her close friend and butler Nick.

"Nick!" she said and the butler walked to the little girl.

"Yes Miss?"

"Your invited to my tea party!" she said

"I would be delighted Miss," he chuckled as the two followed her.

"You need more lipstick," she said as she messily smothered Nick in lipstick. Alex chuckled on the other side of the small round table watching Nick having a makeover. At the moment, Nick had glittery pink eyeshadow, thick layer of blush and a clown like lipstick smothered all over his face.

"Finish!" she said.

"You both need hats, and I need to change!" she beamed as she went to her walk in wardrobe of costumes and luxurious clothes.

"How do I look?" Nick said

"Ridiculous," Alex laughed.

"Okay!" Zara walked out in a pink glittery princess costume with hats in his hands.

"Nick you can wear the pretty crown!" she placed a bejewelled crown on his head crooked, "And for Alex the big feathery hat!" she placed a large pink fedora hat with sparkled and a large feather on the side. Although it looked utterly ridiculous on him and he knew it he didn't complain cause he saw his sister happy.

"Pinkies up!" she said as they all held their actual tiny china teacups as they drank the tea (water).

"This tea is delicious," Nick said in a funny high pitched voiced that made the two laugh.

Gotham academy had a younger school Gotham prep an elementary school that was not to far from the elaborate Academy.

In his fourth year Alexander easily became the most popular student in the school, everyone new him. He was the son of the most two powerful people in the world, everything at his disposal. By his side was Sebastion Lance Queen a blonde blue eye boy and the eldest son of Connor lance Queen and Annabeth Queen, heir to the Queen fortune and his mother owning a powerful lawfirm. On his right hand, his general Yousef Zachary Fox the adoptive son of Luke Fox.

The three easily made heads turn and many stayed clear of the young prince including in other years. In a year below was his sister Zara -his right hand- and her best friend Olivia Haper Lance Queen the younger sister of Sebastian.

Though he could of had a university degree at the age in all subjects he didn't complain to his parents wishes. The boy was usually found in at the back corner of the class with his mates in front of him and beside him he listened to the teacher explain mediocre math when he was in the advanced class, the boy could have a doctral degree for heaven sakes by now.

The mysterious boy seemed to doze off excited for his mother's return from Australia. The young heir usually had his blazer on but his tie loosely done a little just passing the school's strict uniform regulations, with his sleeves rolled up a little which this made girls even more crush on the Wayne prince.

The school bell ringing signalling for lunch the class soon scattered out like a swarm.

"I hate algebra, I don't get it? It's already hard enough with numbers?! And now we're adding letters?! Math is impossible!" Whined Sebastion

"It's not Math, it's  just you id10t," Yousef rolled his eyes.

"Haha, says to the two smartest people in the grade, this one already has a degree," he gestured to Alex who just rolled his eyes emtionlessly as he went out of the classrroom.

"See you at lunch!" shouted Sebastion as he went the opposite way along with Yousef and he just waved them off.

As he opened the locker he saw another boy in his grade, Harrison Kotler who seemed to be completely sad today due to the latest scandle about his parents, he knew it cause everyone would silently whisper about him.

"Oh look it's Kotler," the boy turned around to see James an older boy in the sixth grade smirking.

"Go away Harrison," he mumbled as he got pushed against the lockers by James,

"Well poor boy aren't ya? Mommy cheated on yeah fat dad aye?" he mused as Alex sighed closing his locker.

Mother would want me to stop this, he thought of his mother remember to always be just.

"Geez Harringtom you got nothing better to do with your life?" Alex said as he stared at the older boy who was shocked that a Wayne intercepting a conversation.

"Excuse me?" he let go of the boy as he turned his attention to the Wayne boy. He had heard a lot about him but why would should he care he thought he's older.

"Your ass must be very jealous mouth cause all the sh*t that comes out of it," he casually said as James swung a punch at him but he missed due to Alexander's training, "Harrington that was quite abysmal really, its not like your mother is going to cheat on the next guy she sees," he rolled his eyes as he prepared to walk away as a crowd started to gather.

"Really like your dad?" he tilted his head and Alex turned around not impressed,

"Unlike your's my father loves my mother, he loves her for her," he rolled his eyes as he began to to walk away.

"Huh, real funny you know your mother is nothing but a slut," he said and the crowd widened their eyes, no one wouldn't even think of calling his mother that, nothing less than brilliant or beautiful.

"Excuse me?" Alex turned around triggered as he his hands clenched.

"You heard me, you know my mother says she's nothing but a slut and she's no better than a barbie doll really. I mean she probably just takes other people's ideas and make them her own by her suggar daddy paying them. She's just another slut,"

The crowd went silent, something happened to Alex his jaw was clenched his breathing became heavier and his dark brown eyes seemed to turn darker, the crowd and James could feel the demon-like aura surrounding him. But to sum it all up three words:

Hell. Broke. Loose.

If James only knew he shouldn't have messed with him, hell he shouldn't even breathe in is direction, the boy was raised by assassins as a holiday vacation.

Alex's fist collided with James' face with the force of a comet, hell it could have been the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs. James fell back with his nose bleeding and Alex tackled him to the ground and began to punch him, over and over.

He could of talk about his father, sister, his friends and he could of easily beated the sh*t out of him painfully but talking bad about his mother well... that was something different.

Suddenly the two boys were pulled apart by the headmistress

"You two my office! NOW!" the headmistress said sternly as Alex continued to glare at the boy even though he was the victim.

"I have called your parents, there you can explain what the hell happened," the woman snapped sternly.

As the two boys waited a woman with luscious ginger hair locks and a heavy face of makeup as well as a muscular slim man who seemed just to be slightly taller than the woman in heels.

"Mr and Mrs Harrington," the headmistress tutted as the couple sat down.

Minutes later Adora Wayne stood at the door not to impressed in call she had recieved, though she knew her son had a temper it seemed those lessons of tai chi with her were a waist. Everyone in the room seemed to stare at the beautiful woman that stood in the door with her prada sunglasses on her head as her dark ebony hair cascaded down in beautiful trendals. Her body was covered in a grey knitted dress vined around her body perfectly as on top she wore a black midnight coat that rested on her shoulders perfectly like a cape. Though she had just landed an hour ago she looked she just came out of fashion shoot.

"Mrs Wayne," the headmistress said snapping out of her trance of the woman's complexion.

"Headmistress," she said respectively as she sat down next to her son.

"The two of your sons have gotten into the fight, it seemed Alexander had the upper hand," she gazed at the boy with blood on his knuckles, "As you know the school has no fighting policy,"

"Now what happened?"

"Miss he attacked for no reason he just tackled me!" the boy lied as he gestured to his bloody nose,"

"Miss my son is very valuable to me," the woman pulled her son closer to me, "My son could of have easily gotten into hospital and he's got a big game coming up,"

"And you Alexander, would you like to tell me what happened?"

"As you know Headmistress there are two sides on the story, some are incapable of tellling the truth by," he glared at James, "Harrington bullied Harrison Kotler in my year about the scandal about his parents and continued to taunt and harass him, I only stood up to him with no means nessacary to make physical contact. But he then called my mother a slut, that she's brainless and uses other people's ideas whilst I personally witness and adored her inventions and work. He also stated that my father would cheat on her with his mother cause as said she's nothing than he recalls my mother that vile word, if you want proof you can check the hallway cameras," he stated as the headmistress spoke.

"Is there a problem?" Adora said

"Uh, miss we usually don't use the cameras for this purpose-,"

"If my son if correct I would like to see the proof, the Waynes have always funded the school for generations not to mention help restore the two schools from which I personally designed and led the construction, including the secruity systems in here so I would like to see the video now. If my son if wrong I would gladly agree with the punishment," Adora said with full authority and the headmistress only nodded as she got up and replayed the scene earlier.

Watching the video James put his head down as his parents watched shocked and horrified in his sons actions.

"I see, Mr Harrington we do have a no bullying policy and the language of which we use that we take critically that will be a three week suspension and a months worth of detention," she snapped

'yes Miss," he said shamefully.

"We will talk about this later," his father grumbled

"As for you Mr Wayne as admirable it was we still don't accept the violence you've displayed, that will be a week's worth of detention," she said

"That seems reasonable," Adora affirmed.

"Yes,"

"That is all," she said as they got up. The families existed as they went into the hallway,

"You are in serious trouble young man," his father stated as James hung his head low as it seemed he was close to slapping the boy as the bell rang and everyone came out of class and surrounded them.

"Say sorry at once," he said as he pushed the boy in front of the Waynes.

"I'm sorry, I truly am," he said as he looked down in shame as the crowd whispered.

Adora took a step forward as she bent down to make contact with him as she put a hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay," she smiled softly, "I don't believe in bad students," as she got up and eyed at his parents, "But I do believe in bad teachers," she stared at the couple as she took Alex's hand and gently guided him out.

Sensing someone behind she then flicked away Mr Harrington's hand off Alex's shoulder as she glared at him, "Lay a finger on my son and you can deal with my husband," as he slowly fearfully backed away.

The car drive was silent as Adira only gazed out the window looking like she saw suppressing her anger. Nick at the front pulled up the window behind him so he wouldn't intrude the heavy atmosphere.

"Are you mad at me?" Alex finally spoke feeling ashamed that his mother got a call from the office just after she returned from her buisness trip.

"I'm debating on that," she spoke still not making eye contact with her son.

"Mom!" he pleaded as Adora looked at him unemotionally, "He called you a slut! He talked bad about you! He-,"

"That was his parents' fault, there is so such thing as a bad student only a bad teacher," she said

"Mom-!,"

"Alex that is enough!" she raised her voice as Alex felt an uneasiness somewhat close to crying, he never cried hardly ever did not even if his father -which hasn't happened in a case so far- got mad at him or in any situation.

"I just wanted to make you proud," he mumbled as he moved closer to his side of the window crossing his arms.

"Alex," she sighed putting a hand on his shoulder her tone more gentle, "I am always proud of you, it's just that the violence and your temper-,"

"I did refrain from hitting him, I did talk, but then-, then he started talking about you and I-, I lost it,"

"Alex not everyone has to like me, I know there's people out there who don't like me. You don't need everyone to love you just a few," he said and Alex took in the words and sighed.

"I'm sorry,"

"It's okay, you have nothing to apoligise for," she smiled as Alex seemed to lighten up a little.

"Have you had lunch?"

"No," he said

"Nick," she said as the barrier went down,

"Yes?"

"Make a pit stop at MacDonalds, the usual please and two sundae's, large," she said as she winked at him as a wide smile plastered on his face.

"Of course,"

Alex smiled brightly, not only that he got away with something and his mother was back, it was the fact that he got Maccas for lunch and his sister didn't

"Wipe that smile off that face, just because you get Maccas and your sister doesn't doesn't mean I can make this thing turn around," Adora said

"Sorry mom,"
