Chapter 2

I woke up to my phone buzzing. I picked it up and looked at the caller ID... Jakobi. Ugh why does he have to wake me up now ugh Jakobi.

I roll over and groan. Though with a sigh, I answer the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey get your lazy butt up and come downstairs so we can go to school."

"Why, should I?"

"Because if you don't you won't be able to get to school today so I advise you to get your butt up."

"I don't care what you advise me to do," I say then hanging up the phone.

I get up and get dressed then I see a new text message on my screen while walking to my bathroom to braid my hair.

'Hey I'm still waiting!!!! -Jakobi'

I ignore the text and continue to the bathroom. I put up my hair instead of a time consuming braid and grab my bookbag off my bed before taking a check in the mirror. I run downstairs and walk out of the door and sure enough my wonderful but weird best friend is still waiting for me in my driveway.

I walk to the car and when he notices me get in he starts complaining to me," where in the heck have you been. I have been out here for 5 minutes after calling you-"

I cut him off by saying," Shut up Jakobi it has and always been your choice to come right around the block to come get me now if you are the good best friend that I know you are, you will leave me the fudge alone k? k."

I turn to look at him. He is just sitting there gripping the wheel. "Hello, earth to Jakobi hello, hey, drive," I state annoyingly.

He backed out of my driveway and started to drive off. He finally spoke when we got to the end of my road," You can be really frigging annoying sometimes... but you are still my bestest friend in the whole wide world."

After that everything went back to normal I cranked up the radio playing Nick Jonas 'Jealous' and we started singing all the way to school.

Today is Friday and on most Fridays (like this one) I liked my classes. We walked into school grabbed our tardy slips and ran to our lockers.

Our lockers were on the same hall however his was at the end of the hall and mine was on the opposite end. We had all of our classes together so we ran all the way to Dr. Gregory's class.

I have no clue to where he got the whole Dr. thing but he's crazy anyways. He thinks if you have a doctors degree you should be called Dr. Blah Blah Boring.

Classes go on as planned Rachael and Andrea gossip (my two 'girl' friends) and Jakobi and I sit and laugh at the teachers and other students.

We were throwing paper airplanes at each other per usual. But this time we got into trouble. Yet, it didn't phase us.

As for Rachael and Andrea, they spend their time gossiping. They are really big gossipers. They always have the latest school updates and make sure they go to every party that happens. They are like one of the biggest social butterflies you will find at my school.

But I love them because they are always there for me.

Second period is just as boring yet, it still tends to be hilarious. The teacher gets up to write something on the white board and there you go, gum stuck his pants.

He didn't even know. He stands up tall and starts writing. He draws the country of Iraq.

"Class what do you see?" he questions.
I hear Jakobi giggle like a girl. "Don't you dare, Jakobi," I whisper yell at him sitting beside me.

He goes to say something and I cover his mouth with my hand. He licks my hand and pushes me out of my seat therefore I am in the floor within seconds with everyone's eyes glued to me.

I pull myself up and sit back into my chair. Though, everyone's eyes are still on me.

"Danielle? Is everything okay back there?" The teacher eyes us. The students still staring are grinning. They know what happened and why.

"Just fine Mr. Powell. Thanks for the concern," Jakobi's smirk could be heard in his voice, which made me grin.

"Well then, maybe you could answer me this question. What do you see here?" Mr. Powell turns to the board and points back at the sloppy figure.

I nudged his side with my elbow and glared at him.

"Iraq, sir."

"Very good. Thank you."

We giggled after he continued the lesson and got back to our mischievous plays.

However when lunchtime rolls around our mischievous plays turn our world's upside down.
