The bell rang.  It was time for recess!  All the kids jumped up and ran outside to play.  Leo drifted over to Percy amd exclaimed, "Hi I'm the awesome Leo!  It's great to know I'm not the only new kid!"  Percy nodded smiling at Leo.  "Yeah it is great to have another new kid and not be alone.  So your mom taught you how to fix cars?  That sounds cool."  Leo nodded also smiling, "Yeah I love my mom! She is awesome."  Percy felt a tap on his shoulder.  He spun around and saw the two kids he met earlier, Thalia and Nico.  "Hey Percy!" Thalia exclaimed.  Percy waved slightly. Leo peaked over Percy's shoulder.  "I'm here too!"  Percy smiled faintly at that.  Leo was pretty funny.  Percy enjoyed seeing someone like that.  Someone with true humor.  Thalia nodded slightly, barley keeping the surprise of these two having met before camp off her face.  Nico glanced to her before looking to Nico.  "Hey to Leo too."  Leo smirked at that.  He turned to Percy, "I will see you later.  We are friends now after all."  He then waved and raced off.  Percy watched him go, thinking about his words.  A smile was on his face at them.  He was glad to call Leo a friend.  He then turned to Thalia and Nico.  Nico spoke, "We were wondering if you wanted to be friends.  You seem like a cool guy and it's always great to have new friends"  Thalia offered a kind smile, nodding in agreement with Nico.  Percy smiled slightly, "Yeah, that would be great.  Thanks!"  The kids talked for the rest of recess.  Nico and Thalia trying to earn the trust of Percy.
