"Wait, you're kidding me, right?" John's eyes widened in disbelief, leaning in closer to Angelina, intrigued by the juicy details that she was about to reveal.

"No way! He totally played me, that sneaky move in his office, but hey, I bet it was all part of his plan to get info on Jane," Angelina shared, her voice laced with a mix of amusement and admiration as she took a sip of her drink.

Having John over for some pre-graduation fun, Angelina couldn't resist spilling the tea on the intriguing dynamics at play, setting the stage for an evening filled with laughter.

"And here I was thinking you were smarter than that ," John chuckled, teasing Angelina playfully as he shook his head in mock disappointment.

"I am!" Angelina retorted, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she turned towards John, settling comfortably on the sofa.

"You are?" John asked, locking eyes with her.

"Yeah, I am," Angelina murmured softly, as she turned to face John, her expression thoughtful.

"It's like being blind when you're into someone, right? You end up overlooking all their flaws, only seeing the best in them. It's a bit crazy, but hey, love works in mysterious ways. We can't always control who we fall for," she confessed.

"True, it's a wild ride," John nodded in understanding.

"Look, it was more of an attraction rather than love. Feeling used is never easy, but, I'm only 24! Plenty of time to find someone who truly values me," Angelina shared, her eyes meeting John's.

"Yeah." John said. "Oh oh wait wait, I want to tell you something." He said as he laughed at himself.

"Okay listen. Let's try for a month. You and me. If it works, we continue, and if doesn't work, we continue as friends, okay?" John said looking all excited.

Angelina didn't say a word. Just started at him.

"Okay was I too straight forward? If you don't feel like that we can just forg-

John's heart skipped a beat as Angelina leaned in, planting a soft, unexpected kiss on his lips. Initially taken aback, he soon found himself melting into the moment, reciprocating the kiss with gentle warmth. Feeling her arms wrap around his neck in a tender embrace, he savored the sweetness of her touch. Their lips met once more, igniting a spark that seemed to dance between them, a silent conversation of unspoken emotions and shared desire.

"So one month?" Angelina asked.

"One month." John responded as he kissed her again.
