-Just Me, Myself And I?-
Jane stood amidst the bustling airport, a whirlwind of emotions enveloping her as she awaited her flight. Taking a moment to breathe deeply, she grappled with the weight of her choices, each inhaling a reminder of the path she was about to embark upon.
With her university days dwindling to a close and exams looming in the near future, she made a decisive yet uncertain decision – to seek refuge in her mother's town, temporarily escaping the pressures that awaited her. Securing a comfortable stay at a local hotel, she knew she had the means to extend her visit indefinitely.
It was a departure from her current reality, a deliberate step into the unknown, with no plans of a swift return.
Ignoring all the messages that she got from whoever, she went to call her mom, as if nothing happened, the last thing she wanted was her mom investigating with her if any of her friends called her.
Matheo came to her house that night, and kept on knocking on the door almost breaking it. Jane clutched the blanket tightly, muffling her sobs.
"Hi mom, I don't have much time, I'm studying right now, I just want to let you know that I had an argument with everyone here, and I'm not answering my phone, when they call. So if any of them called you, do me this favor and don't answer to them. I'll be texting you as soon as I can, bye"
With this, she left her seat and made her way towards the awaiting plane.
"If I can't have your whole heart, then I don't want it."

"Hi miss Angelina, do you know why Jane didn't come today, I have to give her some notes of this biology lesson." Mr.Peter appeared from nowhere and asked Angelina.
"Actually, Jane is not answering her phone from yesterday, I think she's sick and sleeping, I will go visit her later today, do you want me to give her the notes?" Angelina said.
"Actually, can you give me her address so I can discuss some remarks with her." Mr.Peter said envious of information.
"I'm not sure, ask her for her address when she comes back. I'm sorry." Angelina said hesitating.
"Oh I understand. Keep me updated on her health." Mr.Peter said as he walked away.
"Hello, Miss Angelina, may I inquire about Jane's absence today? I have some biology notes for her," Mr. Peter addressed Angelina.
"Oh, Mr. Peter! Jane has been unresponsive all yesterday; I suspect she's unwell and resting. I intend to visit her later today. Would you like me to deliver the notes on your behalf?" Angelina offered.
"Actually, could you give me her address so I can discuss some important matters with her?" Mr. Peter inquired, his curiosity piqued.
"I'm not sure... Maybe you could request it directly from her upon her return. I'm sorry," Angelina replied with a hint of hesitation.
"Ah, I understand. Please keep me updated if anything happens with her," Mr. Peter acknowledged before departing.
Mr. Peter went to his office.
"I'm surely following your car miss Angelina. Don't worry about that."
He took her phone.
"She didn't come today. Her friend said that she may be sick, but I doubt that. If she was sick, she would've informed the university about her absence. Something is off here and I will discover it."
Mr. Peter made his way back to his office.
"I'll be keeping a close eye on your car, Miss Angelina. You can count on that," he said as he sat down.
He then took his phone and messaged someone.
"She didn't show up today. Her friend mentioned an illness, but I have my doubts. If she were genuinely unwell, she would have notified the university of her absence. Something's off here, and I'm determined to find it out,"

Angelina hopped into her car, exhausted from the day's events. She navigated the familiar streets to reach Jane's house. Upon arrival, she rapped on the door, a rhythmic beat of once, twice, thrice, the sound echoing through the quiet neighborhood.
"Jane, it's me, Angelina!" she called out, her voice filled with a mix of concern and eagerness, hoping for a response that never came.
Frustrated but determined, she reached for her phone, fingers tapping the screen in a flurry of digits as she attempted to call her friend. Minutes passed like hours as she waited in the stillness, the unanswered phone amplifying her worry. With a heavy sigh, she returned to her car, the engine humming to life as she steered towards her own home, thoughts swirling with unanswered questions and a sense of unease lingering in the air.
As Angelina's got away, a car got closer to Jane's house. With a swift exit from the car, Mr. Peter strode purposefully towards the house, his steps deliberate and his gaze sharp as he surveyed the surroundings with precision.
Methodically, he circled the house, noting the closed windows that stood as sentinels guarding against the outside world. However, amidst the sea of shut windows, one exception caught his keen eye – the balcony on the first floor, a beacon of opportunity in the stillness of the evening.
Silently, like a shadow weaving through the night, Mr. Peter slipped into the house, ensuring each footfall was as quiet as a whisper. Ascending the stairs, he ventured into the rooms above, each holding its own mystery waiting to be unraveled.
The first room he entered was a symphony of pink, way too pink to be Jane's room, prompting a furrow of confusion on Mr. Peter's brow. The next room, a chaotic jumble of disarray, hinted at a sudden departure or a hasty search for something elusive.
Opening the closet revealed emptiness, devoid of the usual signs of life that clothes often bring. Just as he pondered his next move, the faint echo of a door knock pierced the silence, sending a shiver down his spine.
In a moment of apprehension, Mr. Peter's instincts kicked in, propelling him towards the balcony with urgency, a fleeting figure disappearing into the night, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and a lingering sense of mystery in the air.

Hello everyone!!
I know those who are reading want more answers about this Mr. Peter, but trust me the plot you're about to witness is unpredictable. I just feel generous today so you're getting a little hint,
