When they got home, Lillian unbuckled Scott and the two waved as April pulled out of the driveway and headed back to the church. Lillian unlocked the door to their home and walked inside. After changing Scott and herself into play clothes. "Mommy you pretty." Scott said. "Bud, I'm just wearing a sweater and jeans. But thanks for the compliment." "Do you want some lunch?"
"Carrot!!!" Scott cheered. "Scott, you have to eat more than a carrot." Lillian said firmly. "Ok, lots of carrot." He said. Lillian laughed. "I love you bud, ya know that right?" "I know Mommy loves me, and Grandma loves me, and Grandpa loves me, and Jesus loves me, and God loves me, and a doggy would love me too." Scott said. Lillian laughed again. "Yes, we all love you." "My doggy love me?" Scott asked, looking at her with puppy eyes. "Scott, no doggy yet." Lillian said. "Now, how about we put some carrots into a sandwich?"
