"Oooooof." Lillian looked to see someone climbing up into her bed. "Mommy! Time to get up and say hi to the sun!" Scott told her. Lillian laughed. "Where did you hear that?" She asked her little boy. "Grandma said it." He responded. Lillian laughed again. "Mommy, what are you waiting for? It's the end of week. Time to swim at beach!!!" Scott said, smiling. "Ok bud, let's go eat some breakfast before we head down." Lillian said before picking him up and running downstairs.
"Honey O's or Chrispy Rice?" Lillian asked. "I want these." He said, pointing to the box of Honey O's in Lillian's right hand. "Ok, sit down please." Lillian pored some cereal into two bowls and grabbed a spoon for each of them. "Do you want milk in your cereal?" Lillian said, opening the fridge. "Yucky! I like food without white stuff." He said, nose wrinkled. Lillian giggled. "Ok." Then she pored some milk into her cereal. She returned the milk to its place and pulled out some orange juice. After poring a glass for each of them, she sat down at the large table.

Lillian strapped Scott into his car seat and closed the door of her new van. After starting it up, she pulled the van out of the driveway and drove down to the beach. It was very close, in walking distance. But when you have a two year old, sand toys, and an inflatable raft with you, your neighbors aren't really in walking distance.
