Six months had passed since Lillian had gotten that email, and she has been working at Sunny Day for five months now, and enjoying every minute of it too. "Bye Jenna! Bye Maggie!" Lillian waved to her co-workers as she skipped out of the daycare. Her phone buzzed, and she read the text from her boyfriend, Drew Martian. "Hey Lil, I'm free Sunday night. What do you say to a picnic?" Lillian smiled before she texted back, "That sounds amazing. I'll see you and your tuna fish sandwiches there." Then she shut off her phone. She has been dating Drew for almost six months, but he still thought Scott was her little brother. Lillian wanted to wait for the right time to tell him the truth.
"Mom, can you watch Scott tomorrow night?" Lillian asked April. "Sure, though you better get back by ten, he won't sleep until he knows you are home." She answered. "K, by the way, is it ok if we hold a bonfire here?" "Why a bonfire?" Her mom asked. "The ladies from work, one is having a birthday, and Maggie and I wanted to throw her a party. She loves bonfires, so we thought that would be the perfect party!" Lillian said, excited. "Ah. I suppose that would be alright." Her mom said.
Lillian walked over to the little boys bedroom. "Boo!" She said. "Ag!" Scott shrieked. "Mommy! You scared me!" Lillian laughed. "Want to go to the park with Jenna and Alice?" She asked, then covered her ears for what was coming next. "Yes Yes Yes Yes!!!" Scott yelled, and jumped up and down. "Ok, you need to put some socks and shoes on first." She said, then ran to grab the keys for her car.
