Lillian stepped out of the shower. She had calmed down a bit, but she wasn't sure what to do now. After slipping on her clothes, she walked down to the kitchen to eat some lunch.
"You ok?" Her mom asked. "Better." Lillian replied before putting a spoonful of salad in her mouth. "Mom, would it be terrible, if I... if I don't tell him the truth yet? Like I wait until I know him better?" She asked. "Sweetheart, you do what you need to do. You are an adult now, and you need to make adult decisions." April said. "I've been doing that for over three years mom." Lillian said. "That you have. And you've been doing it well, look at you two." April said, before walking up the stairs to do laundry.
"Mommy!" Scott called. "What is it Bud?" She called back. "Can you come play with me?" "I'm sorry Scott, but Mommy has to go do some things in her room." She called, then set her dishes in the sink.
Lillian looked at her inbox, and saw an email from Sunny Day Daycare. She opened the email, and read it. "Mom!" She yelled. "What's wrong? Are you hurt? You aren't pr..." "No! I would never make that mistake twice mom. I'm fine." She said. April breathed a sigh of relief. "Then why did you call me?" She asked. "Cause, look at this email! They want me to come down for an interview!" Lillian said, excited. "That's great hon! Why don't you call the number and set one up?" April said, handed Lillian her phone, and left her room, closing the door behind her.
