chapter 3 - Ice Pick

From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", in the Preserve, Allison and Scott were together.
Allison shook her head. "They're not gonna split us apart."
Scott shook his head. "Not us."
Scott and Allison kissed sweetly.
Stacie: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"
From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", in the alley, in the pouring rain, Lahey was holding Natalie by the arm.
There was a creature in front of them.
Lahey saw it, taking off his glasses. "Isaac?"
Lahey put his glasses back on.
Natalie turned her head to follow his gaze in confusion.
Nothing was there.
Natalie looked at Lahey. "Dad, please, let's just go, and--"
Lahey turned to Natalie, backhand punching her in the face, making her fall to the soaking wet ground.
Natalie landed on her stomach, hitting her head, groaning in pain. Her cheek and chin were cut, scraped. She held her head in pain.
From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", on the lacrosse field, Scott and Isaac looked at each other, both of their eyes glowing gold.
Scott: (voice over from 2.02 Shape Shifted) "There's another."
"Please don't tell them," Isaac told him.
On the bleachers, Ari and Stacie stood, looking at them, knowing that they found their Werewolf.
"Whoa," Stacie told her.
Ari looked at the back of Isaac's jersey, reading: Lahey. Ari was in shock. "No way."
Isaac looked at Scott. "Don't tell them."
From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", outside of BHHS, Allison, Lydia, Stacie and Ari walked up the concrete steps to the school door.
Stacie looked at Lydia. "You really don't remember anything?"
"They called it a fugue state," Ari explained.
"I can't remember running around the woods naked for two days," Lydia told them.
From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", on the road, Allison aimed her bow at the hunter dressed as a deputy, shooting his leg, making him groan and fall.
From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", in the Sheriff's Station, in the cell room, with the alarm blaring, Isaac took the hunter dressed as a deputy's head, hitting it against the wall, making him fall unconscious.
Isaac walked toward Stacie.
Stacie slid back three inches into the wall.
Derek stepped past Stacie and the door, in Isaac's way, shifted his eyes glowing red, roaring.
Isaac backed away, past Tara, whimpering, turning to the wall, sinking to the floor, hiding his face. When he looked back, he was completely human.
Stacie looked up at Derek. "How did you do that?"
Derek looked down at Stacie. "I'm the Alpha."
From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", in the Lahey House's kitchen, The creature looked at them for a long time. He ran across the ceiling above them, running for the door, leaving the house, disappearing.
"What the hell was that?" Allison asked.
Scott looked forward in confusion. "I don't know."
From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", in the alley, in the pouring rain, The creature ripped the car door off the hinges, throwing it into the alley behind it, toward Natalie.
Natalie tried to push herself up off the ground.
The car door bounced off the ground, bouncing toward Natalie, slicing along her back fatally.
Natalie screamed in pain as it slid down the rest of the alley.
From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", in the underground hideout, Isaac ran down the stairs, carrying Natalie in a cradle, frantically trying to save her life. "Derek? Derek!"
Natalie was unconscious, nearly dead.
Isaac ran into the sub way station cart that was in the middle of the hideout.
Derek was inside. "What's wrong?"
Tara walked in.
"My dad," Isaac told them. "I think he's dead, and my sister..." He looked down to Natalie in his arms, blood still dripping to the floor. "She's dying."
"What did you do?" Tara asked tightly, looking at Natalie.
Isaac looked at Tara. He looked down at Natalie. He looked at Tara. "That's the thing. It wasn't me." He looked at Derek. "Please, can you help her?"
Isaac lowered to the floor, placing Natalie on the floor.
Derek knelt in front of them.
Tara knelt down to the side, keeping pressure on Natalie's back, under the edge of her shoulder blades, deep, bad, and wide.
Derek took Natalie's arm gently.
Tara still kept pressure on her back, watching him pull her arm toward him.
Derek shifted, his eyes glowing red, holding Natalie's arm firmly but gently, biting into her skin, underneath her elbow and above her wrist.
Natalie gasped at the pain, lurching slightly, weakly, returning to consciousness.
Isaac and Tara held her still.
Isaac held her other arm reassuringly, protectively. "It's okay, Nattie, you're gonna be okay."
Natalie seeped back into unconsciousness, her head rolling to the side against Isaac's knee.

Day One
Night - Gas Station - Outside
There was a motorcycle parked by a gas pump.
Allison drove up in her car, stopping the engine, getting out, closing the door and standing at the pump, taking the nozzle, putting it into her gas tank, waiting for it to fill.
The door bell rang as a man walked toward the motorcycle getting on, turning to look at Allison.
Allison looked at him.
The man nodded to her, chuckling, pulling his helmet on, driving away.
Allison watched him go.
The gas station's lights turned off.
Allison took the nozzle out of her tank, putting it back in the pump, opening her car door, sitting inside, closing the door.

Allison's Car
Allison reached to turn the engine on. Her keys weren't in the ignition.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Outside
Allison opened the door, getting out, looking over the ground, looking for her keys.
Keys jangled around her.
Allison looked up in confused suspicion.
Keys jangled again.
Allison looked around.
Keys jangled.
Allison turned around.
A black bag was put over her head, pulling her away, making her scream.

Hale House - Living Room
Allison was tied to a chair, her hands behind her back, a cloth tied around her head to gag her.
A man in a brown hoodie with the hood pulled over his head walked away.
Allison breathed heavily, struggling to get free. She stopped, looking in front of her.
Chris was there, tied to a chair exactly like she was, a cloth tied around his head to gag him.
Allison cried.
They heard Tara's voice. "Ever wonder what happens if a hunter gets bitten, Allison? Ever wonder what happens if you get bitten?"
They heard Derek's voice. "What do you think your father would do? What do you think he'd have to do?" Chris pulled with all of his strength forward to break the chair, standing, free, pulling the cloth away, reaching behind him. The man from the gas station handed him a phone. Chris held it up for Allison to see. "When all it would take to change everything is one bite. One bite--"
Allison exhaled, breathing heavily in anger, looking away.
Chris turned the recording off, handing the phone back to the man, standing, finishing himself. "Everything changes."
Chris walked forward, pulling the cloth away from Allison's mouth.
Allison looked at him angrily. "Is this how we're gonna do father/daughter talks from now on?"
"No, this is how we're gonna train you," Chris answered. "Do you know why we use arrows?"
"They can't heal until it's taken out," Allison answered.
Chris took an arrow from the hunter, holding it up for Allison to see. "Look familiar?"
"You were going to kill him," Allison told him.
"That's right," Chris told her. "And if we find Isaac on another full moon, we will kill him. That's the hard choice we make. But it wasn't my choice."
"Gerard?" Allison asked.
"No," Chris answered. He started to walk around her, standing behind her chair. "See, our family has a surprisingly progressive tradition. Knowing wars and violence are typically started by men, we place the final decisions, the hard ones with the women. Our sons are trained to be soldiers. Our daughters, to be leaders." He put the hair in Allison's hand, kissing her head. "Training starts now." He walked away, looking at the man. The man handed him his jacket. "Time her."
Chris walked out, leaving.
The man started the timer on his cell phone, giving Allison a smile, walking out, leaving.
Allison adjusted the arrow in her hand, using the arrowhead to start chafing against the rope binding her hands, cutting into it, trying to free herself.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Outside
Allison rubbed her wrists, walking down the porch steps, walking toward her car.
The man was leaning against it, stopping the timer on his cell phone, showing it to Allison. "Congrats."
Allison looked at him. "For what? It took me two and half hours."
The man shrugged. "Took me three when I did it."
Allison smiled, opening the door to her car, getting inside, closing the door, starting the engine, driving away.
The man started to walk toward his bike, but stopped. He looked down.
The creature's tail was wrapping around his ankle, pulling, making him fall on his stomach, slicing its claws into the back of his neck.
The man held the back of his neck, rolling over, pulling out his gun and raising it forward, standing, looking around. He held the back of his neck again. He could no longer stand, falling to his knees.
The creature's dark, scaled, clawed hand was dripping of transparent liquid.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Scott looked up. He blinked. When he opened his eyes, they were glowing gold.
Scott stood shirtless, facing the left, his eyes closed, water sprinkles everywhere. Tyler Posey.
Jackson, in his uniform, pushed into his back forcefully.
Allison kissed Scott sweetly, pulling back. Scott backed out of view. Allison pulled up her bow, her face echoing, releasing the bow. Crystal Reed.
Stiles stood next to his Jeep, walking forward. Dylan O'Brien
Stacie looked up, facing the right, a slow smile spreading across her face, in the track pose, her face echoing. She ran forward. Zoey Deutch
Ari stood still, looking to the left, her eyes glowing blue, water sprinkles everywhere, holding her motorcycle helmet in her hand, looking up. Katherine McNamara.
Tara stood with her back toward you, looking over her shoulder, black blood covering her skin, her body reflecting each other. Victoria Justice.
Derek looked up, shirtless, his eyes closed, shifted, roaring, dust falling off of his body. Tyler Hoechlin.
Lydia's hair covered her face, her hands held in front of her. She tossed her head back to get it to fall behind her head. Holland Roden
Tara's reflecting body was still covered in black blood.
Lydia sat with Jackson, holding his arm.
Jackson, in uniform, jumped into the air, throwing the ball forward. Colton Haynes
Tara was still covered in black blood. She wiped the black blood over her stomach away, clawing the design into it.
Scott's eyes glowed gold as he stared ahead, tilting his head down toward his chest.

Day Two
Morning - Beacon Hills High School - Gym
(Song:) Champion - Donora
Gym class was there, a rock climbing wall in front of them, everybody dressed out.
Stiles, Stacie, Ari and Lydia stood together.
Ari looked at Lydia. "Hey, Lydia. Did something happen to you last night?"
"Like what?" Lydia asked.
Stiles, Stacie and Ari exchanged looks.
"Just... I don't know," Ari told her, looking back at Lydia. "Anything."
Lydia shook her head. "Nope."
Stiles, Stacie and Ari exchanged a confused look.
Scott and Allison were climbing the rock climbing wall.
"It had a tail," Scott told her. "I don't have a tail."
"Maybe you just haven't grown it yet," Allison told him.
Scott shook his head. "I'm not growing a tail. Ever. Are you slowing down for me?"
Allison looked at him innocently. "I was waiting for you."
"What?" Scott asked. "Waiting for me to catch up?"
"You looked like you were struggling," Allison told him.
Scott looked at her butt. "Maybe I was admiring the view."
"Try admiring from afar," Allison told him.
Allison smiled, starting to climb faster.
Scott was suddenly next to her.
Allison gave him a look.
Scott shrugged.
Allison kicked his foot, making him fall, stopping right above the mat on the floor.
Scott fell the rest of the way.
The students laughed.
Allison looked away innocently, smirking.
Coach sat down on the floor next to Scott. "McCall, I don't know why, but your pain gives me a special kind of joy." He laughed. "Right?" He stood from the floor and looked at the rest. "All right, next two. Stilinski, Erica, let's go."
"Uh, Coach, you're gonna have to be a little more specific than that," Stacie told him.
"Whichever one makes it to the wall first," Coach replied.
Stiles and Stacie ran toward the wall, seeing who could get there first.
Stacie got there first, grabbing the harness, looking at Stiles smiling semi-sweetly.
Stiles gave her a sarcastic look, going to stand next to Ari, Allison and Lydia. "Ha ha, Stacie."
A blonde girl with ratted, tangled blonde hair, unclean skin, wearing dark gray sweats.
The girl and Stacie were both putting the harnesses on, starting to climb.
Stacie was climbing well, climbing to the top easily, letting herself glide back down to the floor, raising her arms in the air.
Jackson was standing with Danny, looking forward, not listening to him.
The girl was still on the wall, having a hard time climbing, breathing heavily. "Oh, please."
(Song Ends)
Most people walked forward.
The girl was shaking.
Ari looked down at her shaking hand in confusion, looking up at the girl.
Stacie looked at Ari. "You okay?"
Ari didn't answer, looking up at the girl.
"Erica," Coach told her. "Dizzy? Is it vertigo?"
"Vertigo's a dysfunction of the vestibular system of the inner ear," Ari explained.
Lydia gestured up to Erica, sounding like a bitch. "She's just freaking out."
"I'm fine," Erica told them.
"Coach, maybe it's not safe," Allison told him. "You know she's epileptic."
"Why doesn't anybody tell me this stuff?" Coach asked incredulously. "I have to get--Erica, you're--you're fine. Just kick off from the wall. Th--There's a mat to catch you. Come on." Erica hesitantly let herself glide down to the floor. "See? You're fine. Shake it off. You're fine."
Erica walked through the crowd, toward the exit.
Some of the students laughed, chuckling, mocking her.
Scott watched her go worriedly.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Later
The gym's lights were turned off and everyone was gone.
Erica looked up to the rock climbing wall, pulling her hair back into a ponytail, determined and stubborn.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Hallway
This hallway led to the boys and girls locker rooms on either side of the hall.
Coach turned to the gym glass.
Jackson, Danny, Scott, Stiles, Ari, Stacie, Allison and Lydia were in front of the others.
Coach blew the whistle. "Listen up. Anybody sees Isaac and Natalie Lahey, you immediately tell the principal. Get a teacher, or you call me. Except for you, Greenburg. Don't call me for anything. I'm not kidding. Don't call me. You shouldn't even have my number." He blew his whistle, holding his hands together, pulling them apart, one hand pointing one direction and the other hand pointing the other direction. "Now, unmerge!"
Jackson and Danny walked into the boys' locker room with most of the boys' half of the class.
Allison and Lydia walked into the girls' locker room with most of the girls' half of the class.
Scott, Stiles, Ari and Stacie still stood in the hall as the others walked around them.
Scott and Stiles looked at Ari and Stacie.
"Natalie and Isaac?" Scott asked.
"It's Derek and Tara's problem now," Stiles told them.
Jackson looked back at them in confusion, walking inside the boys' locker room.
Ari and Stacie didn't answer, looking regretful.
Scott and Stiles walked toward the boys' locker room.
Ari and Stacie walked toward the girls' locker room.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Gym
Erica started to climb the rock climbing wall without a harness.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Girls' Locker Room
Stacie and Ari walked inside.
"So, speaking of Natalie..." Stacie trailed off. They walked together toward their lockers. "Is she gonna be okay? She gonna live?"
"Yeah, she should," Ari answered. "She got hurt pretty bad from whatever the hell it was that killed their dad." They stopped at their lockers. Ari took off her hoodie, opening her locker, tossing it in, pulling out her leather jacket. "Tara and Derek said it might take a while for her to heal completely, but she should be okay. Tara even gave me two compliments."
Stacie gasped. "I'm shocked you didn't fall dead."
Ari smiled a little, pulling on her leather jacket, the smile fading, pulling her hair out of under the collar. "Derek also said it's 'cause of us that Isaac and Natalie are both alive. That we should be happy for that victory."
"He said those exact words?" Stacie asked.
"Well, not those exact words, but close to it," Ari answered. "Both Scott and I told them that they had to stop."
¤•¤°¤•¤
Boys' Locker Room
Scott and Stiles were at their lockers.
"What do you mean tonight's not a good idea?" Stiles asked, starting to take off his shirt.
Scott opened his locker, blocking Stiles from view. "I don't know. That thing that we saw last night, Isaac and Natalie missing, Allison's grandfather. All this stuff happening with Derek and Tara, I just--doesn't feel right."
Scott closed his locker.
Stiles was now in a gray hoodie. "No, you're not backing out. Do you wanna know why? Because you and Allison are obviously having quite a good time together. And you know who else wants to have a good time? Stiles! Stiles wants to have a good time. Many, many times. Several times in a row. In several different positions. Are you even listening to me?" Scott looked down at his shaking hand. "What--what is that?"
¤•¤°¤•¤
Girls' Locker Room
Stacie pulled open her locker, pulling the shirt over her head and threw it inside the locker. She reached for a regular shirt. "That's okay, right? It's good they're fine?"
"Of course it is," Ari agreed, leaning against her locker. Stacie pulled the shirt down over her head, grabbing body spray. "It's just..."
Stacie sprayed the body spray a few times, looking at Ari. "What?"
"It's hard to believe one of our old best friends and her brother are orphans and Werewolves, and almost got killed, and we don't even know about their older brother," Ari admitted.
"Oh, right, Camden," Stacie told her, putting the spray back in her locker with one hand, grabbing a blue hoodie with the other, pulling it on. "Anyone hear from him since he was shipped overseas?"
"Nope," Ari answered.
Ari looked behind Stacie, falling into silence.
Stacie turned her head to follow her gaze.
Allison and Lydia walked closer.
Stacie looked at Ari.
Ari looked down at her shaking hand.
"What is that?" Stacie asked.
"What's wrong with your hand?" Lydia asked. "That was happening earlier when Erica was climbing the wall."
Ari looked around. "Where is Erica?"
Stacie and Lydia shook their heads in confusion.
Allison looked at Ari in confused concern. "What's wrong?"
¤•¤°¤•¤
Hallway
Stacie and Stiles ran out into the hall.
"Stacie, did Ari just come running out?" Stiles asked. "Her hand shaking?" Stacie nodded. "Scott too. Stacie, let's go."
They both ran down the hall.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Gym
Erica nearly fainted, falling from the wall.
Scott caught her in a cradle, placing her down on the mat.
Ari ran next to them, kneeling next to them.
Stiles and Stacie knelt on either side of them.
"Put her on her side," Ari told him. "Put her on her side."
Scott put Erica on her side.
Stacie looked at Ari and Scott. "How'd you guys know?"
"I just felt it," Scott answered.
Ari nodded in agreement.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Underground Hideout
Derek looked straight ahead. "What killed your father, Natalie? Tell us everything you remember."
Natalie was sitting forward in a chair, hesitating. "Everything?"
"Everything," Derek repeated.
Natalie shook her head. "I never saw it." She was deep in thought, trying to remember everything possible. "My dad did, obviously, but whenever I looked, it disappeared. He hit me." Isaac was standing to her left, his expression hardening. "I fell, and then he was running for the car, leaving me for dead. I heard the car door being pried off before it hit me and did that..." Natalie gestured to her back. "I was too weak to even turn my head to see what the thing was until after he already disappeared. By the time Isaac got there, it was already gone." She looked up at Isaac with a small, confident smile. "Then he brought me here."
Tara was standing to her right, keeping her distance. She was bored and skeptical. "So, long story short, you never saw the thing that killed your dad and tried to kill you, nearly doing so, causing your big brother to bring you here and beg mine to turn you to save your life?"
Natalie didn't answer, looking at Tara.
"Don't mind her," Derek told her. "She's used to being rude. And doesn't have a lot of patience, but a lot of anger. It's a Hale family thing."
Tara ignored him, looking at Natalie. "Well, the thing obviously didn't want you to see it."
"Is that a good or bad thing?" Isaac asked.
Tara shook her head. "I don't know, but it obviously didn't want to kill her as bad as it wanted to kill your father, 'cause if it did, she'd be dead too."
Natalie looked at her with a what the hell look. "Thanks."
"I'm just stating the facts," Tara told her. "You're lucky I'm being nice."
Natalie looked at Derek incredulously. "This is her being nice?"
"Yep," Derek answered, standing, clearing his throat, walking toward the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Tara asked.
"Do you care?" Derek asked.
Tara shook her head. "Not really."
"All right, then," Derek told her. He looked at Isaac and Natalie. "You two stay here with Tara."
"That should be fun," Natalie told him sarcastically. Tara looked toward her. "And it's not like we can go anywhere."
"Yeah, me and Natalie are fugitives, remember?" Isaac asked.
"Well, you're a fugitive," Natalie told him. "You're the one that busted out of a jail cell before a hunter could kill you. I'm just the one that mysteriously disappeared after our father was murdered."
"We're both suspects in the murder," Isaac amended.
Natalie nodded once, smiling. "There you go."
Derek sighed, walking to the stairs.
Tara rolled her eyes, walking into the subway cart.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Exam Room
Erica was laying on a hospital bed in a robe.
Macey shined a light into her eyes. "It's been a while since we saw you, Erica. You were being so good about taking your medication."
"Are you gonna tell my mom?" Erica asked.
"Well, I swear I don't want to, but there's this team of lawyers in the back who would break my legs, and I don't know if you've seen my legs, but for a girl my age, they're still pretty hot," Macey told her. Erica smiled. "So, doctor's gonna be in in a minute, okay?"
Erica nodded. "Okay."
Macey walked out of the room.
Erica sighed, closing her eyes.
A man stood at the head of the bed, pulling her back, out into the hall.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Hallway
The man pushed Erica's hospital bed through the hall.
Erica looked up at the passing florescent lights above her on the ceiling, trying to sit up.
The man put a hand on her head, lying her back down. "Lie still."
¤•¤°¤•¤
Morgue
The man rolled her into the morgue, letting her go, walking away.
Erica breathed heavily, sitting up, looking at the man.
Derek held her medication bottle, leaning against the table behind him. "'Side effects may include anxiety, weight gain, acne, ulcerative colitis'. Yeesh."
"Who are you?" Erica asked.
"Let's just say we have a few mutual friends," Derek told her. He put the medication on the table behind him. Erica looked at him nervously. Derek walked closer, standing on the foot of the bed. "You get a warning right before you have a seizure."
"It's called an aura," Erica told him. "It's--it's like a metallic taste in my mouth."
Derek shook his head. "You don't have to lie, Erica. What's it really taste like?"
Erica looked up. "It tastes like blood."
"What if I told you that all of this could go away?" Derek asked. He ran a hand up her calf. "The side effects." He ran his other hand up her other calf. "The symptoms." He looked up at her. "All of it." He pulled her closer to him. "And what if all those things not only went away, but everything else got even better?"
Erica smiled hopefully. "How?"
Derek smirked. "Let me show you."
Derek's eyes glowed red as he looked over her.

Beacon Hills High School - Biology Class
The students were listening to a video on the TV.
Woman: (on TV) "A small exposure on otherwise deadly virus can actually prevent the effects of the infection from spreading. This is called vaccination."
Matt sat next to Jackson, holding his camera. "What the hell did you do to my camera?"
"Huh?" Jackson asked.
"The lens is cracked," Matt told him.
Woman: (on TV) "So by creating an immunity..."
"Did you drop it?" Matt asked.
Woman: (on TV) "Your body is primed to fight off the infection."
Jackson looked toward the screen in confusion.
"Do you know how expensive this thing is?" Matt asked.
On the video, bacteria from an animal bite entered a human cell.
Woman: (on TV) "From meningitis to rabies from an animal bite."
"Jackson," Matt whispered.
"Just send me a bill," Jackson told him flippantly.
On the video, the bacteria left the human cell without causing damage.
Woman: (on TV)"Meaning the subject is now immune."
Jackson turned his head to look at Lydia a row behind him and three seats to the left.
Lydia was watching the video, lowering her pencil to write on her paper.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Hallway
The school bell rang.
Lydia was walking down the hall alone.
Jackson followed her, grabbing her arm, pushing her against the wall. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"What?" Lydia asked defensively.
"Show it to me," Jackson told her, trying to pull up her shirt. "Show it to me. Come on."
Lydia hit his hand away. "Are you out of your mind?"
"Nothing happened to you," Jackson told her. "It's like--it's like you're immune."
"I don't have a clue to what you're talking about," Lydia told him.
"It's--It's you," Jackson told her. "Whatever it is, blood, saliva, whatever soul-killing substance is running through your veins, you did this to me. You ruined it for me." He pointed at her. "You ruined everything!"
Jackson turned around, starting to walk away. He slowed to a stop, hesitating, looking back at Lydia.
Lydia looked forward, leaning against the wall he had pushed her against, tears in her eyes.
Jackson closed his eyes in guilt, shaking his head, starting to walk away.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Girls' Bathroom
Lydia sat alone in a stall, crying, wiping her tears away, sobbing.
The door squeaked open.
Lydia stopped crying, her voice thick. "Hello?" A man's feet stood outside the door, barefoot. "This is the girls' room."
The feet walked away.
Lydia stood, opening the door, looking around the vacant bathroom in confusion. She opened the wooden door, walking out into the hall.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Hallway
A man was walking up the stairs, his face unseen.
Lydia pressed her lips together, following him.
The man walked down the hall with the wall of windows and the principal office, chairs lining the left side of the hall until it reached the door. He continued walking down the stairs in front of him, walking out of view.
Lydia walked into the hall, following him. She stopped at the top of the stairs, looking toward the man.
The man stood at the trophy case, raising a hand to touch the glass. He lowered his hand, walking away, leaving.
Lydia walked toward the trophy case to see what he had been looking at.
A basketball trophy with the plague saying, Peter Hale.
Lydia breathed heavily.

Cafeteria
Stiles walked toward a teenage, over weight, bald, dark-skinned boy, sitting down across from him. "Boyd. You got the keys?"
Boyd held the keys toward him.
Stiles tried to take them.
Boyd tightened his grip. "This isn't a favor. It's a transaction."
"Right, yeah," Stiles told him. "Absolutely."
Stiles reached into his pocket, putting a twenty dollar bill on the table.
Boyd looked at Stiles. "I said 50."
"Really?" Stiles asked. "I--I remember 20. I don't know. I have a really good verbal memory. And I remember 20. I remember that distinct 'twa' sound, 'twa-enty.'"
"I said fifty," Boyd told him. "With the 'fa' sound. Hear the difference?"
Stiles shook his head. "Uh..."
Boyd leaned forward. "If you can't, I can demonstrate some other words with the 'fa' sound."
"Uh, no, no, no," Stiles told him. "I think I'm recalling it. Now. Maybe I just got it confused with..." He put another twenty dollar bill on the table. "For-ty." Boyd took a chip out of his bag, looking up at Stiles, putting the chip in his mouth and chewing. Stiles tilted his head. "Come on, man, have you seen the piece of crap Jeep that I drive?"
"You seen the piece of crap bus that I take?" Boyd replied.
Stiles sighed, putting a ten dollar bill on the table. "Fifty." Boyd smiled. Stiles tilted his head, smiling sarcastically. "Mm." Boyd held the keys out to him. "Okay." Stiles took the keys. "Thank you." Stiles stood, walking away, toward the table Scott, Stacie and Ari were sitting at. He sat across from Scott, next to Ari. "Got them. Pick you up right after work tonight and we'll meet at the rink, cool?"
"The rink?" Stacie repeated, popping a chip into her mouth, starting to chew.
"Ice rink," Stiles answered. "Us, Lydia and Allison are going. Stacie, you guys wanna come?"
"Hmm," Stacie hummed, like she was thinking about it. "No thanks."
Stiles looked at Ari. "What about you, Ari?"
"And be a third, I mean, fifth wheel?" Ari asked rhetorically.
"No, just the... awesomely loner you are right now," Stiles told her sarcastically.
"Hey, she's not a loner," Stacie told him. "She's got me."
"Yeah, Stacie and Ari, the Loner Duo," Stiles told them.
"I'm sorry, but you and Scott have long-since had that title," Stacie replied. "Since, like, the first grade." Stiles smiled sarcastically, taking her bag of chips out of her hand. "Hey!"
(Song:) CHING CHING CHING (Original Mix) [Original Mix] - Nikka Costa & Richard Vission
Erica walked through the open double doors of the cafeteria in a black skirt, a black leather jacket, cheetah pumps and a white shirt, her hair in perfect blonde curls, her make-up perfect, making everyone in the room look at her. (slow motion) She leaned down next to a random table and took an apple, biting into it and then using her finger to wipe the excess juice away carefully.
(Song Ends)
Lydia stood next to Scott, Stiles, Stacie and Ari, leaning against the table. "What... the holy hell... is that?"
"It's Erica," Scott answered.
Erica smiled, turning around, walking away, leaving the room.
Stiles and Scott stood, walking toward the door.
Ari and Stacie exchanged looks, standing, starting to follow them.
Jackson sat at his own table, his gaze following them in confusion.

Stiles and Scott ran out of the double doors, outside.
Derek's black Camaro was in the drive way in front of the school.
Erica looked up at Stiles and Scott, smiling.
Ari walked out of the school behind Stiles and Scott.
Erica opened the passenger's side door of the Camaro, getting in, closing the door.
Derek looked over to Ari, Stiles and Scott.
Stacie walked out behind them, standing next to Ari.
Derek smiled a wide smile.
Erica leaned around him to look at them, smiling.
Derek drove them away.
Stiles looked at Stacie and Ari. "You guys wanna go to the ice rink now?"
Stacie tilted her head.
Ari gave Stiles a look.
Stacie, Ari, Stiles and Scott looked forward.

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom
(Song:) Moving the Target - Benjamin Forrest Davis
Scott dropped a glass vase, making it shatter on the floor from the impact. He sighed, kneeling to the floor to pick up the pieces.
Dr. Alan Deaton knelt next to him. "Why do I get the feeling you've got a lot on your mind?"
Scott looked up at him. He looked down, picking up the pieces. "Sorry, it just, kind of slipped through my fingers. Everything has been slipping through my fingers."
"Now that sounds like far too world-weary a thing for a teenager to say," Deaton told him.
"Sorry," Scott told him.
"You might wanna try a different perspective," Deaton told him, picking up the pieces. "This is just entropy at work. This is more the natural way of the universe. But it doesn't necessarily mean it's falling apart. It's just changing shape."
"For better or worse?" Scott asked.
Deaton smiled. "Exactly."
Deaton stood, turning away.
Scott stood. "Hey, doc." Deaton turned to face him. "When are we gonna talk about the thing that we never got a chance to talk about?"
Deaton nodded. "Oh, yes. We never did get a chance to talk about that, did we?" Scott shook his head. "Now is definitely a good time."
"Thank God," Scott told him.
Deaton crossed his arms over his chest. "What do you think? Two dollars?"
"Two dollars?" Scott repeated.
Deaton nodded. "You're right. $2.50 more an hour. It seem like a pretty good raise."
Scott shook his head. "It's not exactly what I was... $2.50 more an hour?"
Deaton smiled, holding out his hand. "Done." Scott shook his hand. "Don't forget to clean up the cat cages."
Scott smiled, nodding.
Deaton walked out of the room.
Scott knelt to the floor again to clean up the rest of the mess, still smiling.

Night - Argent House - Allison's Room
(Song:) Beat of My Own Song - Meme
Allison and Lydia were talking in her room.
Allison turned away, standing.
Lydia was sitting in a chair.
Chris stood at the door, knocking on the wall. "Headed out?"
"Studying," Allison told him. Chris nodded for her to walk closer. Allison sighed, walking closer. "Just studying, Dad."
"I get it," Chris told her. "But we need you to remember what happened."
"You want me to stop being friends with her?" Allison asked.
"Actually, we want the opposite," Chris answered. "I know how this might sound, but we need you to keep an eye on her."
"You want me to spy on her?" Allison asked.
"We want you to look out for your friend to make sure everything's okay with her," Chris answered.
They looked at Lydia.
Lydia raised her legs in the air, crossing them, taking a selfie with her cell phone, She sat up, smiling, kissing the screen.
Chris looked at her with confusion.
Allison smiled. "Seems okay to me." Chris nodded. Allison looked at him. "And if you're letting me be friends with Lydia, then why can't you let me be friends with Ari?"
"It's not that we don't want you to," Chris told her. "It's just that after everything happened with her and Scott, Derek and Tara..."
Allison looked away in annoyance. "No, I get it." She looked back at Chris. "But Ari and Lydia are cousins, but they're more like sisters. And Ari has a locker just a few away from mine. You can't expect me to keep an eye on one without seeing or speaking to the other."
Chris hesitated, nodding. "I know. You're right."
"So...." Allison trailed off.
Chris started to walk away. "Limited contact."
Chris walked out of the room.
Allison turned away, smiling.
Lydia was still taking selfies.

Inside - Bleachers
(Song:) This Head I Hold - Electric Guest
Stiles and Lydia sat together on the bleachers, tying their skates on.
Lydia rubbed her arms. "Could it be any colder in here?"
Stiles zipped open his bag, reaching inside, pulling out an orange hoodie, holding it out to Lydia. "Here."
Lydia looked at him. "I'm wearing blue. Orange and blue? Not a good combination."
"But it's the colors of the Mets," Stiles told her. Lydia tilted her head. Stiles put the hoodie away. He grabbed a Reese's chocolate bar, holding it up for Lydia to see, offering it to her. Lydia tilted her head, shrugging, taking it, opening it. Stiles smiled. Lydia pulled the peeling away from the chocolate. "Okay, um, maybe orange and blue is not the best. Right, you know, um, sometimes there's other things you wouldn't think would be a good combination end up turning out to be, like, a perfect combination, you know, like two people together who nobody ever thought would be together ever."
"No, I can see that," Lydia told him.
Stiles looked at her. "You can?"
Lydia looked past him. "Yeah. They're cute together."
Stiles followed her gaze to Scott and Allison.
Scott helped Allison stand.
Scott and Allison toward the ice.
Stiles grimaced. "Oh, yeah, them."
Lydia smiled. "Cute."
"Cute," Stiles repeated. "Adorable."
Stiles looked forward in disappointment.

Ice
Stacie was skating along the ice, skating backwards, turning her head over her shoulder to look at her skates. She looked forward, looking down at the designs the skates made in the ice, smiling.
Scott and Allison walked along the black matted floor toward the ice.
"Since you never skated before, maybe I should give you a few pointers?" Allison asked.
"Allison," Scott told her. "Not that this is news to you or anything, but you remember the Werewolf thing? Super speed, strength and reflexes."
"So a little ice skating should be no problem," Allison told him.
Scott nodded. "Yeah." He stepped onto the ice, smiling. "See? It's no problem--" He slid the wrong way, falling to the ice. "Ugh! Maybe."
Ari stepped out onto the ice and pushed off with her left leg, gliding forward, deep in thought. Reminiscent and nostalgic.
Stacie skated up from behind her. "We're here because we're supposed to be on a distraction-filled day of fun."
Stacie skated around Ari, circling around her, turning to face her, letting herself glide back, stopping a few feet away from Ari.
"I know, it's just..." Ari trailed off, shaking her head. "Never mind."
Stiles was standing in the middle of the rink, watching Lydia.
Lydia was skating several feet away, raising her leg behind her, starting to spin in fast, small circles, the forced wind whipping her hair around. She lowered her leg to the ice.
Stiles was watching her in awed silence.
Lydia stopped spinning, her arms held on either side of her. She smiled, skating toward Ari and Stacie. "Come on, Ari. Let's show them how it's done."
Stacie raised her eyebrows, looking from Lydia to Ari.
Ari looked from Stacie to Lydia. "No, I'm good."
Lydia sighed an annoyed sigh, tilting her head at Ari. She sighed, skating away and towards Stiles. "Well." She took his hand. "Come on."
Lydia led the way, skating ahead, pulling Stiles with her.
(Song Ends)
Stacie looked at Ari. "You know how to skate like that?"
"Why do you say it with so much surprise?" Ari asked teasingly.
"Well, I mean, no offense, but you don't seem like the kind of girl that'd be into all of this," Stacie answered. "I mean, you almost never were back when we were friends before Adriana..."
Ari tilted her head. "There's a lot you don't know about me."
"How do you know so much about ice skating?" Stacie asked.
"Lydia's mom used to bring her, and my mom used to bring me and Adri here," Ari answered. "A lot. Paid for lessons from the time I was five. It stopped after Adriana..." She looked down awkwardly. She looked up sadly. "You know."
Stacie hesitated. She tried to get the mood back up. "Then show me some skills. Like Lydia said, show me how it's done. Loosen up, have a little fun. Get distracted. Teach me to be a bad-ass ice skater." She held up her hands. "Unless you don't think you can do it."
Ari tilted her head at the taunt with a look as if to say, oh, really?
Stacie nodded.
Ari smirked. "All right, Stacie. You asked for it."
Allison held Scott's hands, skating backwards, pulling Scott with her. "Okay." She let go of Scott's hands. "Okay, you got it. You got it. You got--"
Scott fell to the ice, landing on his stomach.
Allison sighed, holding her head.
Scott skated forward clumsily forward, looking at Allison behind him. "I think I'm getting the hang of it!"
Scott skated into the transparent glass over the wall, falling to the ice.
Allison's mouth was open in shock, gliding forward. She looked down at him. "You look like you hit your head that time."
Scott looked around. "What's that, Coach?"
Allison nodded. "You definitely hit your head."
Lydia knelt to the ice, looking down, picking up a petal of purple wolfsbane in confusion.

Allison hit the button.
For the first picture, Scott and Allison both smiled at the camera. Allison had her arm over Scott's shoulder.
For the second picture, Allison held up her hands as if they had claws. Allison and Scott showed their teeth as if to have canines.
For the third picture, Scott and Allison kissed. Scott opened his eyes, looking at the camera.
For the fourth picture, Allison kissed his cheek. Scott closed his eyes, smiling widely.
The roll of pictures fell to the tray.
Allison picked it up.
Scott's eyes were like laser beams in every one except the last one, where he had his eyes closed.
"Oh, my eyes," Scott told her. "The--the flash triggers them."
Allison held her thumb over the last picture. "This one's normal." She looked away, looking down. "Oh, that's not what I meant."
"It's okay," Scott told her. "Come here."
Scott took the pictures, tearing the top half neatly off, feathering the edges. He handed the last one with his eyes closed to Allison.
Allison took it, smiling. "Thanks."

Ice
Stacie looked at Ari.
Ari started to skate, using one skated foot to pivot, circling around Stacie, tilting sideways to where her hand brushed along the ice. She stood straight, skating all the way down to the other side of the rink. She jumped into the air, twirling around, landing safely on the floor, skating all the way down to the other side of the rink. She turned around, skating toward Stiles and Stacie, her skates skidding across the ice, making the ice powder rise from the ground, landing on Stiles and Stacie.
Stiles and Stacie raised their arms to cover their eyes and heads, smiling.
Stacie laughed, looking up. "Tease!"
Ari smiled, turning around skating a few feet away, jumping into the air, twirling, landing safely on the ice on one leg, starting to spin around in fast, small movements into a blur. Forced wind whipped her hair around. Ari raised her arms on either side of her head. Her leg raised behind her as she spun. Ari stood straight, lowering her leg back to the ice, her arms tucking over her chest in an X, the speed of the spin increasing. Ari was a blur.
Stiles and Stacie watched her in awed silence.
Ari looked peaceful and free.
(Song Ends)
Lydia looked down at the petals of purple wolfsbane on the ice below her, gliding forward. She knelt next to the flower on the ice. Ari was still spinning behind her in the background. Lydia looked down at the silhouette underneath the surface of the ice, rubbing the white powder away.
Peter Hale opened his eyes, his hands pressed to the glass, his mouth open in shock and horror, his head turning uncontrollably.
Lydia looked forward, tears in her eyes, screaming in fear.
Ari stopped spinning immediately, turning to face her in alarm and confusion.
Scott and Allison pushed their way out of the photo booth, walking toward the ice.
Ari skated toward Lydia, circling around her, in front of her, letting herself slide toward her on her knees, stopping in front of her. "Lydia. Lydia. Lyd!"
None of what Lydia had just seen was there. It had been a hallucination.
Stiles held Lydia away from the ice.
Lydia was still screaming.
Stacie glided toward them, looking at them in worry.
Stiles and Ari exchanged a worried look. They looked back at Stacie behind Ari.
Stiles, Ari and Stacie looked toward Scott and Allison on the edge of the ice.
Scott and Allison exchanged a look. They looked back at them.
Lydia was still screaming.

Ari stood behind her in the background.

Erica turned to face Ari.
"Three's not enough for Derek and Tara," Ari told her. "I know they need at least four. So who's next?"
Erica turned to her locker, closing the door. "Hmm." She turned to face Ari, walking closer. "Why does there have to be a next when we've already got you and Scott?"
"Who's next?" Ari repeated forcefully.
"You know, I never knew what I looked like during a seizure until someone took a video of me once and put it online," Erica told her.
Ari shook her head. "I don't care."
"It happened during class," Erica told her. "I started seizing in my desk and everyone was saying how they should put something in my mouth until some genius reads the card on my key ring which tells him not to 'cause it could break my teeth."
Ari tilted her head. "Erica."
"Do you know what happens next?" Erica asked. "I piss myself." She took a step forward. Ari took a step back. "And they start laughing." Erica continued to walk forward. Ari continued to back away. "You know, the only good thing about seizures was that I never remembered them. Until some brilliant jerkoff..." Erica pushed Ari into the locker behind her. "Had to go and put cameras in everybody's phone. Is that next brilliant jerkoff that destroys another girl's life gonna be you?" Ari looked at her in annoyance, starting to walk away. Erica put an arm in front of her, blocking her way. "Look at me now, Ari."
Ari grabbed her arm, twisting it away from her, making Erica groan and pull away. "Don't call me Ari."
Ari walked forward, leaving.
Erica watched her go, smirking.

Victoria knelt to the floor picking up Allison's clothes, standing, walking forward, folding it over her arm, putting it on Allison's bed. She picked up Allison's Geometry book, taking out the book mark, unfolding the paper.

Melissa stood with her, dabbing the blood away from the wound, cleaning it.
Victoria smiled. "This is so embarrassing."
Melissa shook her head. "Not at all. I have seen far worse come through these doors. We keep a pair of bolt cutters in the back. Trust me, you don't wanna know what they're for."
"Let me guess," Victoria told her. "Something about men and their egos."
Melissa nodded. "Mm. Boys will be boys."
Victoria tilted her head. "Trust me, I know. I was a teacher for years at an all boys private school." Melissa picked up a needle. "Oh, I don't need the anesthetic."
Melissa looked at her weirdly. "Are you serious?" Victoria nodded once. Melissa inhaled, putting the needle down, picking up a needle and thread. "Okay."
"Speaking of boys, how's Scott?" Victoria asked.
Melissa looked up. "Scott? He's, uh, like every other teenager."
"I'm sure he was pretty devastated after the whole breakup," Victoria mused.
"He has been a little odd lately, well, you know, he's kind of always odd, but, uh, he doesn't seem all that..." Melissa trailed off.
"Heartbroken?" Victoria finished.
Melissa nodded. "Yeah. Maybe he just hides it well."
"Teenagers are quite good at hiding things, aren't they?" Victoria asked.
Melissa nodded. "Indeed."
Victoria frowned.

Beacon Hills High School - Cafeteria
Allison and Scott sat at two separate tables, back to back.
"Did Ari talk to Erica?" Allison asked.
"Yeah," Scott answered.
"She's with Derek and Tara now, isn't she?" Allison asked. "Like Natalie and Isaac. You and Ari can't get caught in the middle of this. Don't you feel what's happening? My grandfather coming here, Derek and Tara turning Erica, Isaac, and Natalie... It's--It's like battle lines are being drawn."
"I know," Scott told her.
"There's always crossfire," Allison told him.
Scott shook his head hopelessly. "What am I supposed to do? I can't just stand by. I can't pretend to be normal."
"I don't want you to be normal," Allison told him. "I want you to be alive."
Allison stood, walking away.
Stiles sat next to Scott. "What's up?"
"Everything's falling apart," Scott answered.
Ari sat across from them. "Hey, not everything is falling apart, okay? We'll figure it out."
"I thought you were talking to Erica," Stiles told her.
"She pissed me off," Ari told him.
Stiles nodded awkwardly. "What did she do?"
"She kept going on a pity party, tried to hurt me, and called me Ari," Ari answered.
Stiles sighed. "Of course she did."
Stacie walked past Allison as she passed.
Allison and Stacie exchanged awkward smiles.
Allison walked away, leaving.
Stacie ran over to Stiles, Scott and Ari, standing behind Stiles and Scott, a hand on Stiles' shoulder. "Scott, Stiles, Ari."
"Stacie, Stacie, Stacie," Ari replied.
Stacie smirked halfheartedly, pointing over to an empty table. "Do you see that?"
Ari turned her head to look behind her. She looked back at Stacie.
"What, it's an empty table," Scott told them.
"Yeah, but who's empty table?" Stacie asked.
"Oh, God," Stiles told them.
Stacie nodded.
Ari realized. "Boyd."

Stacie nodded.
Stiles didn't do anything.
They stopped walking.
Ari looked at Stiles. "What?"
"Maybe we should let him," Stiles told them. "Boyd, you know? You said Derek and Tara's giving them a choice, right? Well, except Natalie, since she was pretty much dead."
"We can't," Scott told them, walking forward.
"You gotta admit, Erica looks pretty good," Stiles told him. "You know, the word 'sensational' comes to mind."
"Yeah, how good do you think she's gonna look with a wolfsbane bullet in her head?" Ari asked, pointing at her head.
"All right, all I'm saying is maybe this one isn't totally your guys' responsibility," Stiles told them.
"They all are," Scott disagreed. "And you know this thing's gonna get out of control. That makes on .or both of us responsible."
"All right, I'm with you," Stiles told them. "And I also gotta say your new found heroism is making me very attracted to you."
"Oh, my God," Stacie told them.
"Shut up," Scott told him, looking away.
They stopped walking again.
"No, seriously," Stiles told him. "Do you wanna just make out for a sec?" Stacie shook her head at them, walking forward. Ari pushed Stiles next to her. "Just to see how it feels."

"You're an idiot," Tara told him.
Derek turned to her with an annoyed sigh, looking at her with an amused expression like he knew exactly what she was talking about, crossing his arms over his chest. "And why is that, Tara?"
Tara turned to face him. "Because you're turning the self-esteemed lacking loners that don't have anything, knowing they'd say yes, and they don't know the first thing about surviving everything that we have to go through on a daily basis."
Derek looked to the side. "That's why we're gonna teach them, Tara."

"That's a good question," Chris told him. "I got one for you. What are you doing here, Jackson?"
Jackson stammered. "Um--nothing, I was--I was--I was just--nothing, I..."
Chris put a hand on his shoulder. "Jackson, I hope you're not still pursuing something that you shouldn't be. Because I don't want to be forced to pursue you. Stay out of this. You've got so much good in your life. You're smart, good-looking, you're captain of the lacrosse team."

Stiles pulled the Jeep up to the driveway, opening the door and running toward the door, knocking. "Hey, Boyd? Hey, Boyd?" He looked through the window. "It's Stiles."
Stacie started to get out, stopping when she heard a clank. She slowly walked toward the hood of the Jeep. "What the hell are you doing, Natalie?"
Natalie was standing there, having a piece of the engine in her hand. She smiled a sweet-but-not-sweet smile. "Oh, hey, Stacie."
"You look better," Stacie told her cautiously.
"Not entirely healed, but will be soon," Natalie told her. "If you see me do anything I don't normally do, you know it's something I don't wanna do."
Stacie pointed toward the house with her thumb. "I'm just gonna..."
Stacie ran toward the house.
Stiles turned around. "He's not here, Stace." Stacie stood next to him, looking at Natalie. "Stacie?" Stiles followed her gaze, jumping. "Oh, wow. Natalie. You, um, you look as good as Erica does. And that's saying something."
Natalie chuckled. "What are you two doing here, Stiles?"
Stiles was trying not to look at anything except for Natalie's eyes, flustered. "Uh, nothing. We were just looking for, um..."
"Boyd?" Natalie finished.
"Yeah," Stacie answered. "Yes. Boyd."
Natalie smirked, looking at Stiles. "You know what you're doing right now that's kind of funny? You're only looking in my eyes."
"That's funny?" Stiles asked.
"Well, yeah," Natalie answered. "Because it's that kind of look where you're trying not to look anywhere other than my eyes, but you want to, don't you? You want a nice, long, hard look."
Stiles shook his head. "Not really. No."
Natalie backed away. "Oh. So it's just my eyes?"
Stiles nodded. "Yes. You have beautiful eyes."
"We should get going," Stacie told her, grabbing Stiles' arm, starting to walk forward, pulling him with her.
Natalie put a hand on her shoulder to push Stacie back. "You're not going anywhere."
"Why not?" Stacie asked.
Natalie held up the piece of the car she had taken out. "You're having car trouble."
Natalie hit Stacie's head with the piece of the engine hard enough to make her fall unconscious.
"Natalie, what the hell is your--?" Stiles started.
Natalie grabbed his head, pushing it against the brick house hard enough to make him fall unconscious.
Stacie and Stiles laid on the ground, unconscious.
Natalie looked down at them in guilt.

Boyd was cleaning the ice.
Ari walked closer. "Boyd. We just wanna talk."
Boyd didn't answer.
"Hey, come on, Boyd, please," Scott told him.
Ari exhaled. "Did Derek and Tara tell you everything? And I don't just mean going out of control on the full moons. I mean everything."
Boyd finally stopped. "I never talked to Tara. But Derek told me about the hunters."
"And that's not enough for you to say no?" Ari asked. "Whatever you want, there's other ways to get it."
"I just wanna not eat lunch alone everyday," Boyd told them.
"If you're looking for friends, you can do a lot better than Derek and Tara," Scott told him. "Trust us."
They heard Derek's voice. "That really hurts, Scott." Ari made a face as if to say, I knew it as they turned toward Isaac, Erica, Natalie, Tara and Derek. Tara tilted her head up in confusion at her name with an innocent what the hell? look. "In Tara's defense, she's not having any decision in these turnings whatsoever..." Tara shook her head expressively. Scott and Ari exchanged a surprised look. Scott looked at Tara in surprise. Tara sighed. "But... I mean, if you and Arielle are going to review me, at least take a consensus." Derek gestured toward Isaac, Erica and Natalie. "Erica, how's life been for you since we met?"
"Hmm," Erica hummed. "In a word--" She looked up at Ari and Scott with a hard stare, her voice being hard too. "Transformative."
Erica growled, her eyes glowing gold.
"Isaac?" Derek asked.
Ari looked at Isaac guardedly.
Isaac smirked in response, shrugging. "Well, I'm a little bummed about being a fugitive, but other than that, I'm great."
"Natalie?" Derek asked.
"Being a suspect in our father's murder is better than being dead," Natalie answered.
Ari raised one hand halfway in the air. "Okay, hold on."
"This isn't exactly a fair fight," Scott agreed.
"Then go home, guys," Derek told them.
Ari and Scott looked at each other knowingly.
Derek looked at Isaac and Erica, nodding forward.
Isaac and Erica walked toward Ari and Scott.
Tara tilted her head, looking at Derek, giving him an annoyed look.
Derek ignored her.
Natalie started to walk toward the others.
Derek put a hand out to stop Natalie.
Scott knelt to the ice, hitting it with a clawed hand, growling, looking up, shifted, his eyes glowing gold.
Ari let her eyes glow blue. "He meant fair for them."
Ari roared.

Ari threw Isaac toward the ice rink wall.
Natalie and Tara turned their heads to follow the movement.
Natalie looked curious and restless.
Tara looked bored and fed up.
Natalie took a step forward.
Derek held an arm out to stop her.
Scott kicked Erica back.
Erica fell back into the ice
"Tara, why can't I help them?" Natalie asked quietly.
Tara tilted her head, looking at Natalie with an annoyed look. She pushed her back with enough pressure to hurt her.
Natalie groaned, backing away.
"That's why, Natalie," Tara answered, looking away.
Isaac walked toward Scott.
Ari turned to fight Erica.
Isaac was pushed Scott into the ice cleaner.
Erica hit Ari hard on the back of her neck, pushing her away from them. Ari turned back to Erica, kicking her back, making Erica fall to the ice.
Isaac slid Scott back on the ice.
Tara sighed, turning away from the fight, walking toward Derek. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Shut up, Tara," Derek replied.
Isaac stood behind Ari, grabbing the back of her neck. Erica stood up from the ice. Isaac tried to kick Ari. Ari gripped his hand on her neck, leaning forward quickly, flipping him over her head onto the ice. Ari kicked him away, making him slide over the ice.
Scott growled in a warning for Ari.
Erica attacked Ari from behind, jumping onto her back
Isaac tried to stand. Scott held him down to the ice.
Tara looked at Derek. "You know you're acting like an idiot, right?"
Ari rammed Erica into the ice cleaner to get her off of her back
Isaac pushed Scott off of him. Scott punched Isaac. Isaac tried to punch him. Scott ducked, punching Isaac on his back, making him fall onto the ice.
Erica grabbed Ari's ankle from behind her, pulling, making her fall down to the ice on her stomach. Ari rolled over. Erica looked up at her. Ari kicked down her other leg to Erica's face, kicking her back, making her let go of her ankle. Erica went to jump on top of Ari. Ari grabbed her shoulders, standing, dragging Erica with her.
Isaac tried stand. Scott kneed him in the face to keep him down.
Ari growled, throwing Erica down next to Isaac.
"Don't you get it?" Scott asked, looking from Erica to Isaac. "He's not doing this for you. He's just adding to his own power."
"It's all about him," Ari told them. She looked at Natalie. "He makes you feel like he's giving you some kind of gift when all he's done is turn you into a bunch of guard dogs!"
Ari grabbed the back of Isaac's leather jacket, sliding him in front of Natalie.
Scott grabbed the back of Erica's leather jacket, sliding her in front of Tara.
Tara sighed an annoyed sigh.
Derek looked up. "It's true. It is about power."
Derek started to walk forward.
Natalie knelt down next to Erica and Isaac, still watching Derek.
Tara looked up. "Derek." Derek didn't listen, swinging his hand down, nails growing into claws. His eyes glowed red, his neck rolling as he started to shift, growling. "Derek!"
Derek continued to walk forward.
Tara looked away with annoyance and defeat, knowing she couldn't stop him.
Derek stood in front of Ari and Scott, headbutting his head against Scott's. Derek slashed their stomachs, making both groan and lean over. Derek punched Scott's jaw once, twice. Derek turned to Ari, punching her in the stomach, making her lean. Derek caught her in his arms, trying to flip her onto the ice. Ari turned to elbow him in his face, making him back away a few steps.
Derek smiled an evil smile. Scott held up his fists, trying to punch him. Derek caught his arm, punching Scott in his face once, twice, three times, four. Derek lifted Scott off the ice, pushing him down.
Scott spit up blood onto the ice, coughing.
Ari growled, stepping forward, raising her arm, spinning, hitting his back. Derek backed away, taking her arm, twisting it, breaking it, making her turn away, facing the ice, pushing her down.
Scott tried to stand. "No."
Derek placed his foot on his chest to stop him.
"Enough," Tara stressed. "You proved your point. Let it go." Natalie looked down to Isaac and Erica, holding either of her hands out to them. Each grabbed one as Natalie helped them up. Derek didn't move. Tara looked at him angrily, her voice forceful. "Derek!"
Derek finally listened to Tara, lifting his foot off of Scott's chest, looking away from him and Ari, walking back toward Erica, Natalie, Isaac and Tara.
Boyd got off of the ice cleaner to go help Scott and Ari.
"Don't," Ari told him.
"You don't wanna be like them," Scott told him.
"You're right," Boyd told them, looking down to his camouflage hoodie, pulling it up to show the bite, looking at either of them. "I wanna be like you."
Tara rolled her eyes, turning around for the door, walking away, leaving, tired of the games.
Boyd turned away from Scott and Ari, walking toward the others.
The Hale pack left Scott and Ari in pain.

Outside
Jackson opened the door, getting out, closing the door. He walked toward the back of the trunk, pushing it forward.
Nothing happened.
Jackson pushed harder. He slipped in the mud, falling to the ground. He looked up in anger, pushing the truck up, lifting the back of the truck up with the strength he had. He let it fall back down to the ground, gasping in shock. He smiled, confused but happy with the strength he had used, strength more than any human.
