Astrid, you are so young and so full of life. You are crazy and kind and beautiful, you're a tragedy to your enemies but a hero to your friends. You may not think all your decisions through and make the best choices, but at the end of the day you are doing your thing and learning to love yourself and that is so important. I'm sorry for all the things I've put you through, and that you had to suffer so much. I'm sorry I didn't help you realize your sexuality before everything happened and that your relationships are so complicated especially because of it.

Even after all this has happened, I'm still glad I wrote you. I'm happy you can finally find love, and that you can find it in a beautiful girl like Veronica.

Stay focused and please stop picking fights. Learn to control your anger and sadness. It's okay to be happy and to love things, even though it's a risk. You're still young. Spend your time having fun and falling in love. Talk to your brother sometimes, and make time for your dad. You never know if there might be a day where you don't have one of them. Treasure them; they are your support system.
