Chapter Six
Will was not the best doctor in the world.
Correction.
He is.
He had saved life after life, but he found himself at a situation that he could not get out of.
Will unlocked his door to his small apartment on Sunshine Lane, and strolled inside. He picked up a picture of his best friend, Nico Di Angelo. They were taking a selfie at a picnic on the beach. Will had an arm draped around Nico's shoulder, and Nico was grinning. Will grabbed the picture and smashed it on the ground, hearing the satisfying shatter of glass. Of course Nico liked another person. Not Will, he would never love Will.
Will sat down on his couch groaning, the day crashing into him. Nico telling him that he really liked someone. Someone who was not Will. A patient dying from cancer right in Will's arms. Will's father trying to talk to him, but Will pushing him away. He was becoming to much like Nico. That thought made him smile, and he picked up the shattered picture and held it gently in his hands. He could never be mad at Nico. He loved him, and would never let that go.
Will stood up and checked the clock. He was supposed to meet a friend in a back alleyway. He was an old friend of Will's, one who knew his dad well. Will rarely saw him anymore, and this was an occasion they could see eachother and reunite. Will was exited and adrenaline pumped through him as he got into the car and drove off to the back alleyway.
Will looked around. His friend should be here by now. That's when he saw his friend walking towards him. On the other side of the alleyway a man with a brief case walked towards them, on his phone. Suddenly in a flash, his friend ran towards him and held a knife to his throat.
"What are you doing?!" Will exclaimed to his friend. His friend pressed the knife harder into Will's throat. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the man gasping and running the other way and yelling into the phone their location.
"Thank god, he's bringing police and FBI here," Will said, but he could die any second with one wrong move.
"Get in the van," his friend said. A white van was pulling up into the alleyway.
"No! What are you doing?!" Will demanded. His friend punched him hard in the face and the world spun. Will fell to the ground.
"Get in Solace!" His friend yelled. Was he even considered a friend anymore?
"Uh..." Will murmered. Suddenly, his friend punched him in the face again, and as the world faded to black, Will heard sirens.
"Thank god," Will said, blacking out.
