"How much further..." Percy whined as they walked along the road back to the town jail. All of his electronics were destroyed so he couldn't call anyone for a vehicle. So brilliant Annabeth suggested walking.

"You sound like your 12, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth says. Percy looks at her quizzically.

"Is that your new nickname for me or something?" Percy asks, almost hoping she would say yes.

"Yeah," she says.

"Fine then, Wise Girl," he says. She laughs lightly.

"Is that supposed to be insulting?" She asks. Percy cocks his head.

"No, is Seaweed Brain?" He asks. Bianca snorts and Annabeth just rolls her eyes. They trudge along the road until they get there, hours later, tired and sweaty from the sun beating down on them. They run inside and go up to the front desk. Their clothes are still soaked, their hair messy, and Bianca is still in her jail outfit. Nico Di Angelo is behind the front desk and he scans them all.

"What the hell happened to you Jackson?" He asks. Percy's face gets red.

"Long story Neeks, anyway-" Percy starts.

"Don't call me that Jackson," Nico growls.

"Okay Neeks, so anyway-"

"Stop acting like a two year old Jackson and just explain," Nico says. Annabeth grins.

"I like this guy!" She says. Percy rolls his eyes and explains what happened, and about everything. Every detail.

"Yeah, we have Agent Nightshade on a new case too. Will-Will Solace has gone missing. A kidnap," Nico says, his voice choking up. Percy knew they were close, after hearing hours upon hours of Nico talking about him to Percy.

"I'm sorry Agent Di Angelo. I think...I think that was the kidnap we were sent to go too," Percy says. Nico just shakes his head solemnly.

"So you need to see Leo Valdez?" Nico clarifies. They all nod and Nico gives Percy a key. Percy leads them and they walk through the jail, until they get to Leo's cell.

"Aye, Valdez," Bianca calls out. Leo turns around and looks at the three of them, soaking wet. He bursts into laughter.

"What the hell happened to you guys?" He laughs. Annabeth glares at him.

"Don't make me regret solving your case," she says. Leo's eyes perk up.

"Wait, you proved me innocent! Thank gods, what are you waiting for? Let me out!" He says. Annabeth bites her lip and Bianca shuffles her feet.

"We don't exactly have any proof..." Annabeth says. Leo raises his eyebrows.

"Do you know a Sammy Valdez?" I ask. Leo pales.

"Yeah...he was my brother," he says, his eyes getting cloudy. "We were best friends until he died from cancer, my mom said."

"He didn't," Bianca says. Annabeth shoots her a look to shut up. Leo stiffens with shock.

"He was Bianca's best friend when they worked for the Titans seven years ago. He's the one who attacked Piper, but Piper assumed it was you. We think it's the Titans behind this, there's no other group in this city that's that evil. He's alive and a murderer. We kinda plunged off a bridge in our car before we could catch them," Annabeth says. Leo sits on his bed in pure shock.

"I'm gonna be free. Thank the gods, Judge Athena is gonna regret ever not listening to you Annabeth," Leo says. Annabeth smiles at that.

"So what's next?" Bianca asks.

"You take us to the Titans, and we get Sammy Valdez," I say.
