The next morning I left to go to school, although all the kids there acted weird. They just stood around watching you like mindless robots awaiting their next command, until the bell rang and they all shuffled off to their classes. The smell was worse, but I was starting to get used to it.
I tried talking to one of the kids, hoping to make some friends, but they just mumbled something and walked away. I thought that was a little strange, but I just shrugged it off. Must be how they treat new kids here.
