Whispercall was outside the nursery, watching Fallkit play with a leaf. Breezeshine's kittens were fast asleep in their nest. A shadowy figure crept into the nursery through a hole in the back of the wall. They grabbed the first kit they could grab, Shadekit, and took them back out. They hid took her out of a secret entrance and went into the forest.

Whispercall padded back into the nursery and looked at the nest. She yowled as she realised Shadekit was missing.

Dancingstar sighed "we have found Shadekit, Mapleserval, Icepaw and Leopardsnow found her dead in the training hollow." She announced, grief ran through her voice, the murderer was now targeting the young and defenceless.
