Bayecho padded into the nursery with a mouse in his jaws for his mate. He padded up to Breezeshine and placed the mouse down next to her "I thought you might want something to eat" he said before looking at the kits "they're beautiful" he told her with a happy purr. Breezeshine thanked him and ate the mouse. After a few bites she started to choke. Bayecho ran and got Frostflower but they were too late. Frostflower examined the mouse and as she suspected there was a half eaten death berry in it.

Dancingstar sat on highrock "there has been another murder. Breezeshine has been killed by death berries. Luckily we still have Whispercall to look after the kits." She said, nodding to her deputy who was sitting in the entrance of the nursery.
