Brackenpaw, Darkpaw, Lilypaw, Icepaw and Sparrowpaw were doing some training in the training hollow. After a while they decided to go back. Brackenpaw decided to split off from the group to go on a walk.

He reached the river and watched the fish swim around, he got up and went to leave after a couple of minutes but a shadowy cat leapt out of nowhere and pushed him into the water.
