Mousepaw waited excitedly by the entrance of camp, today was the day she completed her warrior assessment. She was too excited to even think about the murderer.

Hollowclaw, her mentor, explained what was going to happen. She needed to catch three different types of prey and once she had done that she had to beat Hollowclaw in a fight. He also added that he would be watching extra carefully to make no one snuck up on her.

It had been about half an hour and Mousepaw was just about to catch her final prey. She had already coughed a mouse and a blackbird and now she was stalking a vole by the river that lead into the lake. As she was about to pounce a loud yowl scared the vole away. Mousepaw flicked her tail in annoyance but to her surprise Hollowclaw jumped out of a nearby tree. He looked confused and concerned "we should go check that out" he told her. Mousepaw nodded and buried her prey before following after him.

They arrived at the lake shore to find Leafspot drowned in the lake, unlike the other 2 murders this time there were no wounds on her. Hollowclaw looked at his sister's body in anger ans sniffed around for some clue of who had done it but like the others there were no signs of any scent.

Hollowclaw and Mousepaw brought Leafspot's body back to be buried and explained how they found her to Maplestar. Shadowstone saw Leafspot's dead body and left it an upset yowl and ran to her. Cats started to gather around.
