PERCY'S POV

Percy giggled as Nico angrily attempted to flatten his hair. The wind was blowing through it, and his feeble attempts to tame his hair were destroyed every few seconds when a new gust picked up. The couple was on their way down to a small park to spend some time together. It had been a week since the incident with Destiny, and, although things were tense, Percy was determined to keep the relationship together. They were supposed to go home from their vacation in four days, and Percy was not looking forward to it.

"It isn't funny!" Nico snapped as Percy broke into more laughter. His boyfriend was like a kitten. What a shame he was allergic to kittens. ((Just go with it))

Percy nuzzled his face into Nico's hair. Nico huffed and pulled away.

"You laugh at me, you don't get to do that," Nico grumbled. Percy stopped and looked at Nico with puppy dog eyes. Nico sighed, stopped, and gave Percy a look.

"That doesn't work anymoooore," Nico said in a sing-song voice. Percy whimpered but obediently followed his boyfriend as he trudged along the sidewalk.

"You don't need to keep trying to fix your hair," Percy said as Nico gave another weak attempt to flatten the untameable fluffiness. "In fact, your hair looks sexy like that in my opinion." Nico blushed noticeably but shoved his hands in his pockets. Percy smirked triumphantly and the couple walked in silence.

"We're only here for a few more days. Wanna go somewhere tomorrow?" Nico asked quietly. Percy glanced down in surprise.

"Sure. Where?" Percy asked. Nico smiled softly.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out," Nico teased.

"Nico, I said something very similar to that awhile ago and we almost got killed by Destiny. Is it safe?" Percy asked nervously. This time, Nico laughed.

"Yes, it's safe. I promise," Nico said. Percy smiled.

"Good. I don't want you to get hurt. If you were to get hurt, the person/thing that hurt you would be dead," Percy said with a small growl. Nico smiled up at Percy and Percy returned the smile.

"You're too good for me," Nico mumbled quietly. "I'll never be half the boyfriend you are."

"No, Nico. It's the other way around. You're too good for me. In fact, you're better than I ever thought you would and I'm sorry it took me so long to realize that. You may be an angel of darkness, but you've made my life brighter than any light or star or whatever could," Percy said. Nico sniffled and wiped a tear from his eyes.

"If only that were true," Nico sighed.

"I love you," Percy said with a smile.

"Love you too, Fish Face," Nico joked.

Percy put his arm around Nico's waist for the rest of the walk and Nico leaned into him. The silence was perfect and Percy couldn't help but feel like this was a perfect moment. One of the ones you remember for the rest of your life, whether you want to or not. Percy hoped he would always want to.

"We're here!" Nico squealed and suddenly he was running toward the park like a child. Percy ran alongside him. When they ran through the gate and into the playground, they fell on the grass and collapsed into laughter.

Despite the sound of children screaming and running around, the tranquility between Percy and Nico was perfect. Percy stared up at the clouds, admiring their beauty.

"Hey, that cloud looks like what I feel for you," Percy said as he pointed to the sky. Nico sighed.

"That's a circle, Percy," Nico said in amusement. Percy huffed.

"Next to the circle," Percy said impatiently. Suddenly, Nico gasped.

"I love you too," Nico mumbled and buried his head into Percy's neck. Percy smiled and laid beside his boyfriend. This is amazing, Percy thought.

"That cloud looks like a fish, Fish Face," Nico said as he pointed to the sky. Percy followed his finger to see a small fish shaped cloud. Percy snorted in amusement.

"Yeah? Well that one looks like a skull."

"Percy, that's just another circle."

Percy examined the cloud he was inspecting and blushed.

"Yeah, whatever," Percy laughed. Nico rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, well, you're still a Fish Face."

"And you're still my Death Kitten."

"What the crap? Where did that come from?" Nico laughed.

"You're cute and fluffy like a kitten," Percy cooed.

"I am not cute or fluffy. I am dark and sharp, like a lion," Nico snapped.

"A lion is still a type of cat, so you're still my Death Kitten," Percy said with a triumphant smirk.

"Fine," Nico said indignantly after a moment.

Silence passed over the couple for a moment, until:

"Wanna go on the swings?" Percy turned to Nico to see him looking up at him hopefully. "Please?"

"Sure," Percy agreed. Nico got up and held out his hand to help Percy up. Percy took it and, after being pulled up, followed Nico to the swing set. Two swings, side by side, were open and Nico and Percy quickly claimed them. Percy sat down and began kicking the ground to propel himself upwards. Nico was doing the same, laughing cheerfully all the while.

"This is fun!" Nico called in a childish tone. Percy grinned as he swung higher. Soon he was swinging so high that he could see everything in the park. Even the strange man...

"Nico!" Percy yelled. "Look at that man! He's going toward the kids!" Nico screeched. Percy could only watch in horror as the scruffy man crept toward a young boy. He grabbed the boy and the boy instantly judo flipped the man. The man let out a cry of pain and fell to the floor, the boy standing over him in triumph.

Percy let the swing slow down for a moment before hopping off and running toward the boy, Nico right on his heels.

"You ok?" Percy asked. The boy nodded.

"Yeah," he said in a thick British accent. "He wasn't any match for me!" Percy smiled.

"Well, I'm glad you aren't hurt. Where are your parents?" Percy asked.

"Oh, well, I'm supposed to be home in twenty minutes but I can't make it by then. Can you give me a ride? I'm too young to take a cab," he explained.

"Oh, sure. What's your name?"

The ginger haired boy looked up at Percy, his green gold eyes sparkling brightly. "My name's Blake."

Notice anything... hmmmm... FAMILIAR???

Ok sorry but I hope that that was longer than my previous chappies. I'm sorry for being so flakey ;-;

Ok but yeah I said I would do a Solangelo fanfic, and I will, after I finish this trilogy. This book isn't anywhere close to being finished (I'm planning on this one being quite a bit longer than Letters to Nico but hey it might end up being the same length or whatever irdk) but yeah be sure to check out my Warrior Cats Drawings and leave your suggestions for what I should draw in there :D

Until next time,

-Callie
