"What is it Sid?" The dragon woman looked at me with a bit of concern , before sighing. "Iris is in heat and won't let any male near her. Bram take her home mate with her. I think this is similar to the mate claim frenzy dragons experience." She said giving me the discharge paperwork. -mate needs us.- Bloody dragon this is all to fast. What if she doesn't want us getting her with child? -what she doesn't want is that guy Jax. Even her mother doesn't want it.- I sigh filling out the forms and handing them to Sid. This is going to be a ruff few days.

Arrow pov

The pain is slowly subsiding and I am able to breathe. "Alpha Jax has made it to Stonefire and he has marked lady Iris. The dragons interface made the mark incomplete. She has gone into heat as a result. " one of my scouts said making my wolf growl. -we gift wrapped her for that fool Jax! If you want a job done right do it yourself. Rest up human we are going after her at dawn.- Theo said making me wince. What if that dragon in mating her? -then kill him in human form.- he said before going in the back of my mind. I don't like this but in to deep now.

Iris pov

My body feels like it's on fire accompanied with the pain in my lower abdomen, I knew what was happening it was definitely not a good time. I was in heat and in a room full of Dragoon shifter males. Fear races threw me as I fight to keep them away from me. I snarl and growl till Bram stepped forward. "Iris love you need to calm down. I know you are in pain and your scared. I want to help but you need to calm down ok." His voice was even trying to reason with me. "I will calm when they leave." I said referring to the other males. "You heard the lady out with you." Bram said the males nod and left. Sid and Bram stayed still looking at me. "Bram do you understand what's happening to me right now?" I asked my tone innocent sweetness laced every word.

My face however was that of an enraged feral woman who has embraced the madness. "Aye I do your in heat Iris. I know we wanted to put this off but Iris I don't think leaving you like this is a good idea. Tell me what do you want to do? Do you want me to mate you or sedated till it passes." He was leaving it up to me. No male I have known would even give the female a chance to think on the matter. Once your heat started that was it you no longer had control. Yet this male dragon was doing the opposite of what I have come to know is normal. Tears fill my eyes as I agree to mate with him.

Jax pov
I woke in a holding cell in the Stonefire lands. "You know you and that shewolf is causing truble. Bram should have been mine. I will let you have her if you promise to take her far from here." The female voice came from behind the cell door. She was a dragon shifter. "What about your DDA?" I asked and she laughs. "They have no say over us nor say over you. They are all just weak humans who think they are top dog." I growl at her choice of words. "Fine long as Iris comes with me." I said and the female laughs walking away. I have a feeling that female will be more truble than help. I thought to myself before closing my eyes, Thinking of the future with Iris my luna.

Luka pov

I was helping with food prep when got the mind link. "The time is now be ready." I smirk so the bastard is making his move. I hate playing both sides but Luna Clarabell's order is still in place. 'Its only till this mess is resolved.' My wolf whimpers 'you were following Alasdair when you were discovered. It wasn't your fault but his.' He tries comforting me. -Yeah well who got the blame cuz it sure as hell wasn't him.- I snarl at my wolf irritated. 'Look just go with the flow luna Clarabell had her reasons to trust us.'
