I'm almost positive this isn't allowed, but because of my progress the nurse gave me some whiskey. Apparently before I got here I was constantly drinking the stuff. Not because I was an alcoholic, but because I enjoyed it. She made me stay in the nurses office just in case, and I'm thankful for that. She said it was a present for me because she was thankful for my progress and thought it would be nice on Thanksgiving.

As nice as the whiskey was, what really made my day was Jack's way of showing me how thankful he was for having me.
