I asked the nurse something kind of important. I asked her if I was allowed to marry Jack. She got this look on her face, like she didn't want to break my heart. I realized people probably can't get married in here. Then she told me something I never thought of before. She told me outside, only straight people are allowed to get married. This broke my heart into peices. Why can't I marry the man I love? I knew some people weren't accepting, but why this? She said either way, they can't have weddings here since it's a mental place. I'm glad I didn't ask this on Christmas, or else I would have ruined the holidays for myself.
