Today Liner asked me if I wanted to go somewhere. I asked him what he means and he said I'll see.
He took me to the basement and it was absolutely huge. It looked like Jack and I's room could fit in there plus one hundred more.
Liner took me to his room and explained that families lived down here too, and that's why it's so big. The rooms weren't all the same sizes and the if you were to have nine kids, you would have three bedrooms. The maximum is four bedrooms.
When I got into Liner's room house thing he told me he had two rooms. One for him, and one for his daughter. I asked him if it was normal to show patients this and he told me if they've come long enough in the recovery it's not not permitted. It's not encouraged, but it's also not frowned upon.
Liner had a little girl named Tara and told me her mother was arrested, so right after being born she was given to him.
Tara came running out and she had straight blonde hair and dark brown eyes. I asked her how old she was and she told me she was five. This absolutely warmed my heart. I don't know if I've ever seen someone this little, but it was adorable.
Liner gave me some soda. I asked him if Tara went to school and he told she had started Wirlv elementary in August. It was supposed to be a great school, and it's a half an hour drive, but he thought it was a good choice. Plus, there is a bus specifically for children who live here parked outside.
I asked Tara if she's made any friends and she list off tons of people. I can remember her saying Rebecca, Tyler, Susan, Sammy, and she rambled on about her best friend Victor.
I really wish I could remember times like this.
