The decoration was pleasing, and everyone was enjoying themselves. The party was lively, and the slow music in the background added to the glory of the evening. The vibe of the party was expensive, with men in suits or tuxedos and women in dazzling dresses.

 A navy blue tea-length cocktail dress graced Yuri's appearance. Though she was tired and did not put much effort into getting ready, she still looked gorgeous in her not-so-fashionable dress.

The people present recognized Yuri for her achievements in the projects under her supervision, while some guests from South Korea who were close to Parks were well aware of her past. However, they were few. 

The crowd's attention shifted solely to the stage, where Mr. Park started his speech. He talked about how honored he was to have the daughter of Min's as Park's daughter-in-law. He invited Mr. Min to the stage and requested him to deliver a few words glorifying the event.

While the ceremony went on, Yuri's eyes moved to find a person, as it clicked into her mind that he said that he would be present there as well.

Soon she felt someone hug her lightly. She smiled. She knew who it was. Minji's brother and Yuri's heart friend, under whom she works, the young Chairman of the Jungs.

"You're late Hoseok" Crossing her arms, she turned back and gave a look to the person. 

"Sorry! Sorry! But you know what work is," Hoseok said, making Yuri chuckle.

Their attention shifted again as they heard a round of applause. Then, Mr. Park invited his son stage to introduce his fiancée.

Jimin looked handsome in his suit, and his dark brown hair was styled to perfection, making the girls look at him like he was their prince charming. Beside him was a beautiful girl, his fiancée, Min Aera.

Yuri's eyes went to Aera's waist, where Jimin's hand was resting, and then she looked away, uninterested.

As Hoseok excused himself to attend to his friends, Yuri's attention was back on the stage, and she noticed Jimin had finished speaking. She felt the urge to use the restroom and made her way out of the hall into the back corridor, searching for a restroom. She found a female staff ahead and asked for directions. 

After thanking her, she moved ahead, cleaned her hands with a dry paper towel, and checked her makeup in the mirror.

As she exited the restroom, her phone rang. It was an urgent call from one of the employees in the office. She picked up the call and walked through the corridor towards the hall. As she got nearer, the noise got louder, so she decided to go to the garden. The matter was urgent, and it took all her attention that she didn't pay heed to her surroundings, and ended up colliding with someone. 

The person was about to fall but Yuri held her. She looked at her and eyes met Aera's one. Aera stood straight soothing her dress. Yuri hung up the call and apologized.

"I am sorry; I didn't look ahead," Yuri said as a gesture of her acknowledging her fault.

"It's okay. It was my fault as well; I was hurrying too much." Aera said giving a little smile as a polite gesture.

She excused herself from there and moved ahead to where she was going. Yuri looked at her disappearing figure until it was completely out of sight. 

She remembered about the call and immediately called back. She was finally in the garden and talked for a few minutes on the call. As she turned around after hanging up, she saw a couple approaching to greet her. As they shared a few talks and then decided to go back to the ceremony hall, a voice called her name.

She turned around to find Jimin approaching her. She maintained her composure and made her expression void of any strong emotion.

Jimin stood in front of her. The couple greeted him, and he greeted back.

The couple looked at each other. As far as they knew, the lady standing with them was Jung Yuri, then how come Jimin was calling her Kim? A perplexed expression was evident on their faces.

He then looked at Yuri. So intensely, he stared into her eyes as if he was trying to find something in them. But guess what? He found nothing.

No emotion. Neither hate nor love. Neither the happiness of seeing him again after years nor displease of the encounter.

Taking a deep breath, he said "Can we talk privately?"

The couple, sensing the tension in the atmosphere, couldn't hold them back and asked, amusement evident in their tone, "You both seem to know each other."

Yuri turned to look at them. "Yeah, he is our business partner for the new project of Jung Corporations."

She then turned to look at Jimin and examined his face for a good couple of seconds before responding.

"I am sorry Mr. Park, I am busy. I have to urgently attend to some matters," she said, her tone formal and polite.

"Let's go back to the hall?" she asked the couple, trying to escape Jimin.

"Of course." They turned around to leave.

"Yes, I know her," Jimin said, his voice low but audible. "She... was once my fiancée."
