The next day Eva spends with her family even as she relaxes on the couch trying to regain her energy.

As the children are sent to their room for naps Eva takes the laptop handed to her by her brother. "And you brought me this why?"

"You were right to check the cameras. You know I never understood your fascination with cameras. Forgive me for thinking the ones in your room, that you never used, was overkill."

Eva smirks at Lassiter and looks at the video files that were there. There was Stefanie with one of Tristan's traitorous lieutenants. "How did they get the combination or even the location of the safe?"

"The location was my fault, I'm so sorry, Eva." Elenia tells her softly looking down in shame. She knows that she will likely be sent back into the cells for that.

"Elenia, look at me," Eva says gently, once Elenia looks up she asks, "how is it your fault?"

"I was dating that lieutenant. I didn't realize that he was just using me to get information for Stephanie. If I had known I wouldn't have gone out with him." Elenia rushes to say, tears pouring down her face.

"No, it was my fault for not telling any one that he was one of the traitors. It wasn't your fault, they were all good dissemblers. They even fooled Tristan and Lassiter and they are hella hard to fool. How did they get the combination?"

Elenia shakes her head, "That I don't know, honestly Eva, I haven't told any one, nor do I have it written down anywhere."

"Shhh, it's okay, I believe you."

Lassiter changes the camera video. She sees earlier footage of the lieutenant going through Gina's things. "I see. Gina probably had it written down somewhere and they found it when they went through her things. Lassiter, let Tom know about Clarke. Tell him that I'll be wanting some quality time with him before he makes it so Clarke can't speak."

"Yes, Eva. You should look at the other video files as well." Lassiter tells her before leaving. Elenia follows him.

"Eva?" Tristan says coming in and seeing Eva staring into space some time later.

Eva smiles at her husband. "Hello love. Did you have fun with that bitch that thought you would marry her?"

Tristan scowls a bit, "I still can't believe that the men thought that convoluted scheme would work. That bitch was totally twisted. At least her bitch cousin had some brains, not a lot but some. Any way, she's not in any condition for me to play with her for a while. By the time she's ready to play again you might want to join us?"

Eva smirks, "Oh, how I do love you Tristan. I would love to help you play with your supposed fiancee. How are my beloved parents doing? I haven't had time to play with them since I got back."

"Oh, they've missed your loving ministrations, Eva. They cower any time they hear footsteps walking toward their cell. Lassiter has been keeping them company when his searches permitted him time to go down and visit. He's made sure that they've heard of some of your exploits.

"I'll be going down with equipment to show them just what you've learned while you lived on your own."

Eva looks interested at this and inquires, "How are you going to do that?"

Tristan smiles lovingly at her and tells her, "I'm going to show them the security footage of you taking down the Batry mafia. They should enjoy the show, don't you think?"

Eva smiles softly, "Likely, but I think I'll have them watch as I deal with my rapists. Give dear old dad a foretaste of what's coming his way. Have they been getting fed according to my wishes?"

Tristan nods as he leans forward to give her a kiss, "Only the best for my in laws. When you get done with your punishments will you allow me to put them out of their misery?"

"If you would like."

"I have my traitorous lieutenants down there terrified that you are going to be the one to deliver punishment on them."

Eva smirks at this, "They are yours to deal with, although if you would allow it, Philips doesn't think that he should have run from Lassiter. Would you give him to Lassiter to understand just why he should have run? Not that it would have done any good. Even if he had found the locator, Lassiter would have found him in a short amount of time. He didn't have a safe place like Batry set up. That and Lassiter would know who to look for."

Tristan smirks in return and assures Eva that he'll give Philips to Lassiter to play with.

"Now what to do with that bitch that did so much damage to us both?" Eva says thoughtfully.

Tristan snorts, "Which one, Stephanie or Chelsea?"

Eva gets a wicked look in her eyes, "Does Stephanie know that Chelsea planned for her to die, I wonder, once they secured Batry's mafia as yours?" That's the plan Chelsea had, for Stephnie to marry Tristan, Tristan to take over Batry's mafia then for Tristan's men to kill Stephanie and for Chelsea to marry him and join all three mafias together. 

In a way it worked for Eva took down Batry and gave what was left to Tristan, and then she took down with his men Chelsea's mafia as well. Now all three are consolidated into one large mafia. Those lieutenants that were true to him were given more power, and now control certain parts of that territory as well as the territory they had before.

"I highly doubt that Stephanie was aware that she was supposed to die, like you, after I married her. Which, I am proud to say would have been when hell froze over."

Eva smiles and pulls Tristan down for another kiss, "I'm glad to hear it, love."

Tristan picks Eva up and takes her back to their room. They stayed there for hours.

Several months later....

"Doctor!" Tristan calls out interrupting the festivities there at the estate. "I'm sorry to ruin your wedding day celebration, but Eva's water just broke and her contractions are coming at two minutes apart. She tried to not interrupt your special day."

Dr. Cambritch smiles to reassure him. "I don't mind sharing this day and I'm sure that Tom isn't either. If it weren't for Eva then I wouldn't be here this day with someone that truly loves me."

Tristan gives a tight smile to the doctor even as he picks up Eva and carries her to the clinic there in the house. "I'm sorry Tom, I tried to hold it off, but the babies are insistent that they be born tonight.

Tom gives her a kiss on the forehead. "You've done so much for me, and for Kaden that sharing our special day is the least we can do in return." 

Dr. Kaden Cambritch had been attracted to Tom from the first, but he hadn't thought Tom would be interested in him. But as the two were able to spend time together they found that they genuinely loved each other.

Tristan had helped the paperwork along to get Kaden certified to practice here in the States. Before the year was out he is a fully licensed doctor for the States. He doesn't want to look too closely at how some of those papers were dealt with. He just accepts it and works happily.

Kaden understood the strange relationship and strong relationship that Tom has with both Tristan and Eva and is willing to accept it.

Once Tom understood that he asked Kaden to marry him. That's why less than a year after Kaden came back with Eva he  got married to the second in command of the largest mafia in the northern hemisphere.

Lassiter has his arm around Elenia as they keep the children in the festivity areas. He and Elenia are just waiting for the right time to announce their engagement to every one.

Just the night before there was a news blurb on how the convicted child protective services supervisor that was convicted of over forty counts of forcible sex with a child was found dead in his prison cell.

The night before also marked the day that Eva, Lassiter and Daniel said goodbye to their biological parents as Eva finally let Tristan put them out of their misery.

The other prisoners looked at the bodies being carried out with envy. They just wish that their misery was over as well. But Tristan has assured each of them that they have months, if not years of misery ahead of them. The lieutenants wished that they had never messed with Tristan or Eva.

Just the thought of Eva working on them makes them shudder.

The poor fool that killed Gina was still alive, barely. Those that have seen him get sick just at the thought of him.

Several hours later a tired Tristan comes out proudly holding two bundles. "My son, Samuel Winston and my daughter Anne Marie. They are both six pounds and healthy. Eva is fine, but exhausted."

Tristan has to back away from the kids. "Not too close girls. Easy. Tomorrow you can hold them, but for now they need to sleep as do you. Go see your mother and tell her good night. You'll see her in the morning."

The kids don't need any further urgings. They run to their mother and tell her excited good nights.

Eva gives them all hugs and exhausted smiles.

Elenia shoos them all off to bed before giving Eva her own hugs and congratulations. 

"When are you planning on telling us, Lassiter?" Eva manages to say when he comes up to give his own congratulations and hug.

"What are you talking about, Eva?" Lassiter tries to play dumb, and this alerts Tristan.

"Don't play dumb, Lassiter. When are you and Elenia going to announce your engagement?" Eva says shortly, too tired to play games.

"Tomorrow after breakfast when the kids are seated and calm."

"Good, make sure you do. It isn't fair to make her wait to share the good news." Eva says closing her eyes in exhaustion.

"She can rest and will rest better in her own bed, sir." Kaden tells Tristan.

That's all Tristan needs to hear before he gathers his wife up. Lassiter opens the door for him and goes with him to their room to open the other door.

"You are hiding things from me again, Lassiter."

"Sorry sir, just trying to find the right time to tell you, not intentionally doing so."

Tristan makes him sweat a bit before smiling and clapping him on the back. "Congratulations! Now that she's out of her father's grasp she's turned into a great person. You could do worse. If Eva hadn't approved you'd have known sooner."

Lassiter's lips twist up, "Yeah, I have no doubt of that. I wonder what she'll say when she finds out that she's going to be an aunt?"

Tristan trips over his feet at that before facing Lassiter, "You really think that Eva hasn't already figured it out?"

Lassiter sighs, "No, she likely knew before we did. My sister is to damn smart for her own good."

Tristan laughs before gently shoving Lassiter out of his room. The babies will be taken care of by a nurse they hired. Eva isn't able to make the milk so they will be bottle fed.

"He finally admitted it?" Eva says softly cuddling up to her husband once he gets into bed.

"Mmhm, just like you said. You know Crystal takes after you."

Eva snorts, "Crystal is psychic, I'm not. I just read people. She sees the future. No more talking, go to sleep, I'm tired."

"Of course my love." Tristan says pulls her to him and kisses her temple even as his own eyes close.
