~I've never done a bonus chapter that actually takes place during the story before. This chapter has been floating around my brain for a bit. See if I can do it justice. The chapter for when Eva and Tristan get married.~

Eva takes her time and stretches out. She smiles as she remembers what she and Tristan did to celebrate her becoming his girlfriend. It had been a very fun night, but not much sleeping. She leans over and kisses her boyfriend awake.

"Mm, I like waking up like this." Tristan says and pulls Eva down on top of him.

All too soon they are interrupted by knocking on the bedroom door. "One night, just one fucking night. Is that too much to ask?" Tristan mutters before gently setting Eva to the side and getting up.

Eva avidly watches her boyfriend as he stretches and puts some pants on. He tosses her his shirt and it's his turn to watch as she lets the covers fall down as she pulls the shirt on.

Once it's on Tristan turns to the door and growls out, "It better be damn important or someone's going to die." To who ever is on the other side of the door.

"Stop growling, Tristan. You are the one that told me to make sure that you are up by noon. You have a conference call in an hour."

"You are fucking lucky that I gave you those orders." Tristan says before pulling Tom to him and kissing him to let out some of his anger. Tom kisses him back just as passionately.

Eva soaks in the scene. When they pull apart she sighs, "Just when it started to get good."

Both men look at her then at each other. They smile and turn back to Eva. Tristan carefully grabs her to him and lifts her up. "Tell us to stop now or you'll be with us both."

But she doesn't say a word as Tristan gives her a kiss and he finds the ends of his shirt and lifts it off. Tom divides his time between kissing both of them. It doesn't take long for Tom to lose his clothes and Tristan the remainder of his.

Afterwards, "I have to go, love. Sorry to leave after something so incredible like this. I had intended to shower with you." Tristan says giving her a small peck before untangling his limbs from those of Tom and Eva.

"I understand. Wouldn't want you to be late." Eva says kissing Tristan.

Tristan looks at Tom half asleep after their morning work out. "I think you need to hit the gym more, Tom."

"Fuck off, Tristan. Tell me when I'm supposed to have time for more workouts?" Tom groans as he rolls over. Then he gives Eva a kiss. "Thank you, even if you never allow me to enjoy that again, it was worth it."

By then Tristan was already dressed. "Stay in bed for a bit and rest. I shouldn't have put you through so much when you are still recovering from the gunshot wound. The doctor is going to kill us both."

"Love you, Tristan. Thank you Tom." Already Eva is falling asleep.

"Eva, be ready to leave by seven. Wear something nice, but nothing as fancy as the gala dress." Tristan tells her as he heads out of the door. "I'm taking my beautiful girlfriend out."

"'K," Eva says and waves a hand to show that she heard.

"Is everything ready Tom?" Tristan asks nervously as they walk down the hall to Tristan's study.

"It's all set. What are you going to do if she says no?" Tom says hesitantly, not wanting to make things bad for Tristan.

Tristan sighs, "Then I'll look like a fool. It's just, I know how I feel about her. That she accepts who I am, what I am and hell even accepts me being with you and the others when necessary. There aren't many that would accept that. I love her so fucking much."

Tom smiles, fighting memories of that morning. He never thought Eva would allow any else to touch her like that. "If she allows it, you are allowed to kiss her. But only if I am in the room."

Tristan could pretty much figure out what Tom was  thinking about. He couldn't get it out of his mind either. Just the thought of watching her and Tom makes him hurt. Maybe Eva would let that happen soon. But until then he has a wedding proposal and if she says yes, a wedding to handle tonight.

The conference call had been with those trusted men that Eva told him he could absolutely trust. They are going over the plans for tonight.

Before he knows it, it's time for Tristan to get ready to go as well.

"Don't worry, Boss. Eva will love it. I have no doubt that she'll say yes." Lassiter says giving him a brotherly back pat on his way out the door. He has his orders and needs to get them done for tonight. He can't wait to see his little sister marry the man that she adores.

Tom holds back as the others file out of the room. He watches the nervous Tristan pace back and forth. "Are you sure you want to do this Tristan? You've never committed to any one this deeply before."

That gets Tristan to stop pacing and glare at Tom. "Oh, and what about you and I?"

Tom sighs and goes to his brother. He pulls him into a hug, "That's not what I meant and you know it. If there's such a thing as a soul mate, then she's yours. I have no doubt of that. She's wanted to tell you that she'd be your girlfriend for some time, before you left for South America, you know that. She loves you. She just isn't all that sure what love is. I had to explain it to her the day Crystal came to live with us."

Tristan sighs and lets out the tension and nervousness before kissing Tom. "I know, I just forget at times. I just want everything perfect and I'm not sure what that is for her. For any of the other bitches, the more the better. Is this too simple?"

Tom snickers. "I don't think that's possible. You know that she likes things simple." With those words Tom leaves to finish up his part of the date/wedding. At least all those helping prepare it, hope that it will be a wedding.

"Are you sure that I look alright for this date? You didn't exactly tell me much to go by." Eva says as she finishes up. She decided to go with the dress she wore to the fancy restaurant. Tristan had a hard time taking his eyes off of her when she wore it last time. 

She smirks, because she's getting the same result now. "Fuck, that dress is perfect and you look perfect in it." Tristan adds a gold and platinum bracelet to her outfit. She had already added the new earrings he'd given her.

"Tristan, I don't need you to buy me more stuff." Eva complains but thinks the bracelet is beautiful.

Tristan smirks. "I didn't this time, at least not the bracelet. That is on loan from Tom. It was his mother's, given to her from her mother, if I remember correctly. He heard what I was doing for the date and requested that you wear the bracelet for the night."

"Oh, of course. I am honored that he is allowing me to wear his mother's jewelry." Eva says and for some reason feels really emotional. She wipes her tears away carefully.

She blindly takes Tristan's arm and he guides her out of the house. "One last time, I'm going to ask that you trust me and let me blindfold you and guide you. Will you allow me that?" Tristan asks heart pounding.

Eva smiles gently, "You and your surprise dates. Very well, but if there is walking on anything other than pavement you better carry me. I have a hard enough time walking on these death traps as it is."

As soon as Tristan finishes placing the blindfold on her he sweeps her up into his arms. "As you wish my lady love." Eva can't help but giggle at his words. But she is confused. She thought they would head towards the cars but he's taking her to the backyard. She can hear the trees.

She decides to trust Tristan and relaxes in his arms. Several minutes later, Tristan sets her down and tells her that she can remove the blindfold now. She looks around and finds Tristan on his knee holding up a ring box with an engagement ring. It was perfect. Eva puts her hands to her face in shock.

"I know that you've only just agreed to being my girlfriend and that we've only gone on a handful of dates. But, I knew when I first saw you that you were and are and will always be the only one for me. The more I've gotten to know you, the more I've learned to love you. 

"Will you, Eva Desiree Chesterton, make me the happiest of men and marry me?"

Tears are by now running unchecked down her face. She's too choked up to answer verbally so she nods wildly. Finally she gets her voice back. "Yes, yes, I'll marry you!" Eva throws herself into Tristan's arms and almost knocks him over.

He gives her a deep kiss before placing a bit of space between them and putting the ring on her finger. "I know this is a shock and all, but, would you marry me tonight?" 

Now Eva was already shocked, but this makes her even more so. "Tonight? Don't you want all your men to be a part of it?"

Tristan shakes his head, "No, if they aren't trustworthy then I don't want them to know that you are my wife and not just my girlfriend."

That's when the others come out of the shadows. She sees, Lassiter, RJ, Tom and the three lieutenants that she knows are loyal. Finally she sees Gina and Elenia with the children all lined up as well.

More tears fall. This is perfect. "Yes, I'll marry you tonight."

Tristan's face breaks into the biggest  and brightest smile any of them have ever seen on his face.

The people at hearing her words waste no time arranging themselves appropriately. Gina hands Eva a small bouquet of her favorite flowers. "He'll be good to you sis," Lassiter tells her giving her a kiss before stepping back with the others to watch his sister and his boss get married.

Eva is so blown away by everything that she hardly hears the words of the officiant and barely gives her vows when she's supposed to. Finally both her and Tristan give their vows and they seal the deal with a kiss.

"This, Tristan Wederer, is the best gift you've ever given me. I love you." Eva tells him.

Eva is too busy wiping away her tears to notice Tristan's reaction to her words. "You love me?"

"Of course I love you, or I wouldn't have married you." With those words Tristan grabs her head and gives her a deep and passionate kiss. It is the whistles and cat calls that draw their attention back to reality, but it's Crystal's words that make them blush.

"Why is daddy trying to eat mommy?" The adults snicker at this and Elenia leans over and whispers a few words into her ears before herding them all back inside.

"Ready to go back inside, Mrs. Wederer?" Tristan asks Eva once everyone else is gone. "I have a special dinner set up for us in the dining room."

Eva smiles, and gladly nods, but then the smile fades. "Tristan, we can't let the others know that we're married."

At her words Tristan's smile fades as well and he sighs. "I know. But once it's safe, I'm going to throw the biggest celebration that money can afford to show off my beautiful wife. I'm not ashamed of you Eva. I don't think that there is any one better out there. It just isn't possible. You are perfect for me and make me a better person. I don't know how I'd live without you."

Eva has no words for his lovely declaration and just caresses his face before he picks her up and carries her away from the very same place that they'd had their first date. The first time Eva had laughed. 

The glade will always bring her happiness.
