"Tristan, where's Tristan?" Eva says as she startles awake.

"I'm here, love." Tristan says undoing her seat belt and pulling her onto his lap. Now he has her in his arms he doesn't want to let her go. "I'm here and I'm not going anywhere, at least not without you."

Eva breaks down and starts crying. She's safe, she's finally safe. Tristan will make sure that nothing else happens to her.

When she doesn't slow down on the crying Tristan looks at the doctor in concern, "Doctor?"

The doctor looks up from watching his daughter sleep in his lap, "Sir?"

"Should I be worried?" Tristan is any way. Eva doesn't show her emotions like this.

"She's just relieved and finally able to let out all the emotions she held inside since she was kidnapped. It's good for her to release them. She thinks very highly of you, sir. I have to say it's an honor to finally meet you."

"I owe you more than I can ever repay for your help with her. I understand that it's because of you she didn't bleed to death when she lost our child. There is nothing I can give you to repay you for that alone."

Cambritch looks down at his sleeping daughter. "You already have. Your men saved my daughter and have dealt with my deceitful parents and so called husband. Having her in my arms again and an offer of a new start is more than I could ask for."

"I have a house on my estate that is empty, you are welcome to it. If you would prefer, there are rooms in the main house as well. Just let me or my man Tom know which you would prefer. Eva and I have two little girls just a year or two older than your daughter. They are very friendly and I'm sure that they would love to have a new friend. My youngest is still a bit too young to do much with her older sisters but is also very friendly."

The doctor looks at Tristan confused. Eva had talked to him about her adopted children, but hadn't mentioned any younger than the two girls.

"Calli, the daughter of Eva's friend that was killed when Eva was taken. Tom, her father couldn't handle raising her and his duties to me and the mafia. He asked me if I and Eva could adopt her like we had his older daughter.

"Don't get me wrong, doctor, Tom loves his children. He loves them enough to give them a mother and a father. He takes an active part in their lives but as an uncle." Tristan gives the doctor a sad smile. "He spoils the kids, all of them, rotten. He loves taking on the favorite uncle role.

"Eva just found out that we adopted Calli. I know that she doesn't have a problem with it, but she longs for a child of her own.

"Before we even went on our first date she told me, or rather warned me, that she can't have children. There was such longing in her voice, such pathos it tore at my heart hearing it. I have no doubt that losing our child fueled her anger last night. Hell, it's fueling my anger.

"I would give Eva anything, but I can't fix what that bitch mother of hers did to her. Nothing can fix the damage. It about killed Eva to know that there was no hope. So, tell me doctor, how if the experts told her that there was no chance of her having children that she was pregnant?"

"I honestly don't know. I would have to see the ultrasound scans to see the damage and see why she was told that she couldn't have children. I think it was more like it was so unlikely that they didn't want to give her hope. But when there is a one in a million chance, that one does happen. Eva has survived against the odds.

"I've seen her scars, she says that you call them war wounds. That's pretty apt with what I've heard. She survived against the odds. She should play the lottery, she'd likely win the big pot." Cambritch says more than half jokingly.

"Yes, my Eva has won against all odds." Tristan says kissing the top of her head.

The rest of the flight goes by all to quickly for Tristan. 

Once the plane lands Tristan carries the sleeping form of his wife out to their waiting car. Keller smiles widely at the sight. Seeing how she is slumbering he refrains from speaking and Tristan gives him a relieved smile as Keller softly closes the door behind Tristan.

Tristan gets out of the car and adjusts Eva's weight in his arms. He looks at the house and wonders why so many lights are on.

Keller races ahead and opens the door for Tristan.

Tristan pauses to allow his eyes to adjust to the brighter lights inside. Then he just moves forward enough to allow his men to enter as he stands in shock at what he sees.

His children are all there and so are all his men that weren't sent on the rescue mission.

Tristan shakes himself even as he smiles at the reception Eva is receiving. "Baby, wake up, we're home."

"Hmm?" Eva says still more than a little asleep. 

"Baby, we're home. There are some people that would like to welcome you back."

With that Eva wakes up more fully.  She looks around and tears come to her eyes. Tristan sets her down and her children all run to her, all except Calli who Elenia brought over to her.

"Welcome home, Eva. We've all missed  you." Calli demands to be held by Eva and is jealous of her siblings trying to get Eva's attention.

"Mommy!" Each of the children scream to get her attention.

"I told them you would be home today mommy. When I dreamed you were on your way I woke everyone up and we came down here to be here when you gotted home. Don't leave us again mommy." Crystal says as she throws her arms around Eva.

Eva stops what she was going to say with Crystal's words. Instead she says, "I won't. I didn't choose to leave this time either."

"I know, it was the mean lady that made you go." Crystal says angrily.

Eva pulls back from Crystal, "You mean Stephanie?"

Crystal shakes her head, "No, not the one always trying to get daddy. The one that was supposed to marry him, but he chose you instead."

Eva is confused but hides it as she gives Callie back to Elenia. Elenia ushers the children out promising them that they will see and be with their mother later after they get up for the day. They reluctantly leave Eva and return to bed after they all give her more hugs and kisses. Even Daniel gave her several.

Once the kids are out of ear shot Eva turns to Tristan and demands. "You were supposed to marry another woman and chose me instead?"

Tristan is still trying to figure out how Crystal could have known that, only Tom had known about the alliance his parents had tried to set up with him.
