Eva motions for RJ to stay back as she comes to the cross corridor. She goes up to the guard and steals his weapons before he even notices her. He's dead before he realizes that the special prisoner is walking around freely. 

Eva sets down the weapons and drags the dead guard to the nearest cell that is fortunately empty. Well, was empty until she places the dead man inside.

It is only as they go through the light in the hall that Eva realizes that the dead guard is one of the ones that raped her. She starts cussing silently. She'll need to take more care when neutralizing the enemy. This one got off too easily. 

Tristan won't be pleased. 

Eva isn't too pleased.

Picking up the weapons she stole from the dead man she gives them to RJ. "You aren't up to a physical fight just yet. You'll need these. If you can, try to use the knife over the gun. The gun will bring unwanted attention to us."

RJ takes the weapons and nods, he's not sure that he'll be able to keep his voice low enough to not bring attention to them.

Once Eva is assured that RJ is ready she once more takes point. She manages to take out all of the guards and liberates their weapons. RJ takes the time to make sure that all the clips are full. Ones that aren't he fills up and discards the weapons that no longer have clips. Once he finishes he nods to Eva.

Leading the way, Eva makes sure that the guards are taken out. Once she makes sure that they aren't the ones she wants she kills them before RJ even gets the chance.

RJ doesn't allow himself to react to how vicious and cold Eva is, but he has no doubt that once they are safe that the reaction will hit. He's just more than a little thankful that Eva is his friend and not his enemy.

He truly feels for those responsible for them being here. He feels even more pity for the fools that caused her to lose her baby. He knows how much it hurt Eva to know that she couldn't have children. To find out that she was pregnant only after she lost the baby will make her an even deadlier enemy.

He's not sure who is worse, Eva in this persona, or Tristan when he's in one of his rages.

RJ is brought out of his thoughts as Eva pulls him up flat to one of the walls and motions for him to stay.

Lassiter takes the men and divides them into two groups. One group he sends to Tristan's yacht and has them go to the coordinates of Batry's private island. The second group he heads himself. Eva asked him to free Dr. Cambritch's family. It's the least he can do to make things up to her. But nothing will or can make up for her losing a baby she should never have had. A miracle child dead before it even had a chance at life.

Lassiter's eyes go cold and dark with anger. His niece or nephew killed because of those fucking traitors. He just hopes that Tristan and Eva will let him help in their punishment. He has a few ideas that will make their lives a living hell.

Lassiter finishes the disguise he's putting on and getting out of the vehicle he rented for this, looks around confused with a map in his hands. This area is known for it's confusing streets that even gps has trouble dealing with at times. He's using that as his excuse for going to the home of the doctor's family.

After ringing the doorbell he surreptitiously places the micro mic where it will pick up the voices of all those in the front of the house. He'll try to get inside and place others but doesn't think his chances are very good for that.

The door is opened by a friendly looking older lady. "Hello, I'm sorry to bother you ma'am, but I'm not from around here and I'm hopelessly lost."

"Oh, you poor man. Please come in and I'll try to help you find your way to your destination." Lassiter can't believe his luck. He follows the woman inside and she takes him to the kitchen. "How about some tea and something to eat while we figure things out." Lassiter nods his consent and is glad that he has an actual destination for her to help him find.

Fifteen minutes later Lassiter leaves thanking the woman fulsomely for her help and the tea and snacks. Also for him being able to place the mic where Lassiter will be able to hear all those that live in the house. That night he'll come back with his team and liberate the family. But he isn't so sure that the good doctor's family is in such dire straits. The older woman is the doctor's mother and she didn't look like she was being held hostage or terrorized in any way.

Lassiter has a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. Either Eva was deceived by the doctor and they will be walking into a trap with Eva as the bait, or the doctor was being deceived by his very family.

Lassiter listens to the conversations at the doctor's house as his team makes preparations. His lips thin down in anger at what he learns and he is more than ready to end the farce that is going on.

His team storms the house just in time to prevent the doctor's husband from harming their adopted daughter. They restrain the husband, that was actually one of Batry's men, his assignment was to make Cambritch pliable. He is actually lovers with that bitch, Stephanie and can't wait for his assignment to be over.

The parents weren't restrained, they offered their son's services in lieu of their debts to Batry. They are complicit in the illusion of them being held hostage. 

The only one innocent in the whole thing is the young girl that was adopted by the Dr. and his husband. The marriage wasn't even real. His husband had faked the whole ceremony. Lassiter vows to make sure that the little girl is only listed as the doctor's child.

He takes all of them with him as they go to rendezvous with the other team. It's time to get Eva out of that hell hole and back home with her family.
