It has been a week since Huening Kai left the institute. He still keeps in touch, which Yeonjun & Taehyun appreciated. Jin-Ae covered for Taehyun when she could. He still often left the institute only to reappear minutes or an hour later. However, Yeonjun was more clever than many knew. 

Taehyun met up with Cedric. Unaware he had a specific person tailing him. Yeonjun. Cedric greeted Taehyun with a hug. "제가 이번 주말에 당신을 그곳으로 데려갈게요. 태현아, 그럼 시간 있어요?" (I will take you there at the end of the week. Are you free then, Taehyun ah ?) Taehyun was more than excited. New Zara was a place he'd always wanted to see since he learned of it. Searching for his parents wasn't easy. There was no real knowledge of them.

There was no record of his parents being dead or just in hiding. All Taehyun knew was that he was abandoned as an infant with an incredible status going for him. He was a pureblood after all. "I will have to see--", Taehyun was cut off by Yeonjun making himself known.

Yeonjun drew his wand against Taehyun. He didn't acknowledge Cedric at all yet. "그럴 줄 알았어요! 거짓말인 줄 알았어요!" (I knew it ! I knew you were lying !) Instinctively Taehyun drew his wand as well. "Did you follow me ?" Shock. Taehyun was in utter shock. Cedric didn't interfere. This wasn't Cedric' fight after all.  Yeonjun ignored the obvious question as he cast a immobilization spell. 

However, Taehyun has grown quite strong in his dueling & defensive magic. He took his training seriously with Cedric. Taehyun easily quickened the rate for the immobilization spell, casting a spell that cut Yeonjun near his eye. The cut drawing blood. "You can't ignore me, hyung ! Why did you follow me ?" Yeonjun snarled casting a spell that buckled Taehyun to his knees, "태현아, 당신은 나에게 아무것도 물어볼 권리가 없어요. 당신은 거짓말쟁이에요. 당신은 나에게 거짓말을 했을 뿐만 아니라 정산형에게도 거짓말을 했어요." (You have no right to ask me anything, Taehyun ah. You are a liar.  You not only lied to me, but you lied to Jeongsan hyung.)

Taehyun lowly spoke an incantation that had the tree roots take Yeonjun by the throat. His hyung now suspended in the air struggling to breathe. "So what I lied ?!"  Yeonjun choked out a sentence. "You. Make. Me. Sick..." Before Taehyun could do anything else Jeongsan came out of the woods. Jin-Ae grudgingly trailing behind him. "I--", Taehyun started but it was no use. Jeongsan managed to get Yeonjun down. Cedric quickly going back into hiding. 

Jin-Ae was in her prefect uniform & avoided eye contact with Taehyun. Had she sold him out voluntarily or involuntarily ? Jeongsan' enraged gaze fell upon Taehyun with disappointment. "당신은 연구소로 돌아올 것입니다. 거기서 내가 당신의 지팡이를 풀어줄게요." (You will come back to the institute. There I will relieve you of your wand.) There was no way around it. He had been caught. Worst, it was because of Yeonjun. Once back at the institute, Jeongsan took Taehyun' wand in the courtyard. This of course drew attention of the other students. Jin-Ae & House Artemis were the only ones who looked unsurprised by what was happening, but they weren't happy either.

Jeongsan turned to Yeonjun, who was still nursing his throat. "Why don't you do the honor, Yeonjun ah ?" Yeonjun gladly took Taehyun' wand into his hand as he hoisted himself up so he overlooked the courtyard. All eyes on him. "죄송합니다, 여러분. 강태현이 학원의 규칙을 어기고 한 교수를 공격했습니다." (I am sorry, everyone. Kang Taehyun has broken the institute' rules & attacked a prefect.) Taehyun was just made to stand & watch as everything was happening. The crowd were conflicted. They supported Taehyun, but Yeonjun' bruised throat was evidence of what Taehyun had done. By now it was common knowledge that Huening Kai had left of his own accord. 

Jin-Ae soon took a place next to Yeonjun, but a bit below him where he was hoisted up. He now had a prefect backing up his statements. Yeonjun continued, "First we dealt with Soobin & Beomgyu. Then Huening Kai left... Are you going to let Taehyun hurt this institute even more ?" This stirred up the crowd, Taehyun struggling against where he was held to watch. 

It came down to Jin-Ae. She would be the swaying choice. She sighed deeply as she looked among the crowd. "Kang Taehyun will be relieved of his wand & asked to leave the institute immediately. No exceptions..." Yeonjun didn't need to be told twice. He quickly snapped Taehyun' wand. However, the reaction was far worse than anyone would've expected. 

Taehyun let out a horrifying scream. Blood flowing from his eyes as they turned completely neon purple. His body hit the ground with a thud. Everyone stood in shock. Jeongsan quickly ushered the students away & had Jin-Ae deliver Taehyun' body to the hospital wing. 

A few hours pass & Taehyun hadn't woken. Jeongsan sat by his side when Taehyun' adoptive mother rushed into the hospital wing. "뭐라고요? 제 아들은 어떻게 됐죠?" (What ? What happened to my son ?) Ms. Seo was absolutely worried. Jeongsan broke the news to her. "We had to snap his wand..." She didn't want to hear anything else as tears fell from her eyes. She grasped Taehyun' hand, feeling how cold his body had gotten. "Wake up... Please... Wake up, Taehyun ah..." 

Still nothing happened. Ms. Seo was desperate. So she did something she never had done. She called out for him with all her might, "KANG TAEHYUN !"
