Yeonjun met up with Jeongsan as Huening Kai packed his things in their dorm. "태현이가 이상하게 행동하고 있는 거 눈치챘어요? 뭔가 숨기고 있는 것 같아요." (Have you noticed that Taehyun has been acting strange ? I think he is hiding something.) Yeonjun wasted no time in telling Jeongsan what he thought. He was in luck since Taehyun hadn't reached the institute yet. Jeongsan shook his head, "Strange ? Taehyun has been nothing but a massive help. Has taken some of my burdens off of me as well."

Yeonjun rolled his eyes, "Help ? Taehyun' been leaving the institute' grounds and appearing out of uniform. Just today he came into the dorm in formal clothing right after previously leaving the room a few minutes later." Jeongsan was taking Yeonjun' opinion into consideration. However, he refused to believe Taehyun was doing any of that. Why would he help the school if he had ill intentions ?

Before Jeongsan could offer another response Taehyun entered the room completely in uniform, "거짓말쟁이. 저에 대한 그런 거짓말은 퍼뜨리지 못하게 할 거예요, 형." (Liar. I am not going to let you spread such lies about me, hyung.) Yeonjun scoffed & retorted back. "I am not lying about anything. You've been showing odd behavior & I am not the only one who has noticed. Huening Kai had seen you earlier too." Luckily, Taehyun had a plausible alibi for when he left the institute' grounds. 

Jeongsan interjected. It was clear Yeonjun was frustrated & Taehyun seemed annoyed that he was being accused. "Where were you then, Taehyun ? Yeonjun seems concerned that you've been leaving the grounds. Coming & going as you please..." Taehyun had helped out around the institute, that wasn't a lie. So many of the students held a high respect for him. 

Taehyun sighed. "I was visiting House Artemis. Bae Jin-Ae had asked to see me." Yeonjun didn't really believe it, but Jeongsan seemed slightly swayed. A few minutes went by before Jin-Ae came through the Headmaster' office doors. "저를 만나자고 하셨죠, 심 교장 선생님?" (You asked to see me, Headmaster Sim ?), Jin-Ae asked innocently. She knew why Taehyun left the institute, & gladly covered for him. In fact, her whole house respected him for a few reasons. First he was a pureblood. Taehyun had the capabilities that could surpass them all. Second, he was a prefect of the institute. Third, he was quite honest about wanting to look for his parents. 

Jin-Ae happened to have been coming back to the institute from the break when she caught him leaving Cedric' magically hidden hideout. Taehyun knew he couldn't lie, so he told her everything. Jin-Ae kept his secret in exchange that he mention that Jeongsan should officially make her prefect of her house. 

Jeongsan gave the girl a smile. A simple one. She wasn't in any trouble. He just wanted to confirm what Taehyun had said. "Has Taehyun been visiting Artemis House frequently ? Yeonjun seemed concerned he's been leaving the school grounds." Jin-Ae handed over a record sheet. A perfect copy. This was all to protect Taehyun anyway. "Taehyun has been with us. I ask him to dress more formally so he doesn't feel uncomfortable in our common room."

Yeonjun interjected a bit rudely. "태현이가 왜 이렇게 자주 찾아오죠? 진애씨, 당신을 안다는 얘기도 한 적이 없어요?" (Why would Taehyun be coming to see you so often ? He's never even mentioned he knew you, Jin-Ae ah ?) It was shocking that Yeonjun acted out in such a way, but not super unexpected. Jin-Ae took a deep breath, "I was considering applying for the prefect position since none of the other houses have one. Taehyun has been helping me get prepared."

Jeongsan dismissed everything before a bigger argument was started. In the end, Taehyun got away with his whereabouts & Jin-Ae was elevated to the prefect position on the spot. Both ignoring the glares from Yeonjun.

A Few Hours Later...

Huening Kai was all packed. Yeonjun, Jeongsan, & Taehyun met up with him in the dorm. Kai didn't want to make a big spectacle at the institute' gates. Jeongsan hugged Kai first. It was never easy seeing students leave. Especially since Kai was one of the reasons the institute was able to be reformed. "Take care of yourself, Kai. We will miss you."

Kai laughed in return as Yeonjun quickly hugged him. "수빈이 형 몸 좀 봐줄래요? 그렇게 해주실 수 있나요?" (Will you check on Soobin hyung' body for me, hyung ? Can you do that please ?) Yeonjun smiled as tears threatened to fall. He couldn't believe that Huening Kai was actually leaving the institute. He was hoping that Kai was just joking about leaving. Yeonjun gulped, "I-- um, I will try to. I know you'd want to know how his body is doing once you leave..."

Taehyun was last to get his goodbyes in. However, he totally agreed with Huening Kai' decision. He shouldn't be forced to stay at the institute if he no longer wanted to be here. Kai hugged Taehyun. He knew he was a bit more reserved ,& wouldn't make the first move. Kai whispered to him, "I don't know what has been going on with you, but I want you to keep going. Yeonjun hyung has no right judging you harshly after what we dealt with previously with Beomgyu hyung... I believe in you."

Taehyun just smiled as Kai pulled away grabbing his bags. With one last look Kai made his way out to the gates to leave. Yeonjun ran to the window to watch him go. Jeongsan went back to his office. Kai soon disappeared through the gates, no longer within the walls of the institute.
