Will wasn't really fazed by the question all that much, but like being asked to do something sudden, his mind went into blank shock.
Nic-. Like. Love. Feelings? Guys. Friend? Canon. Opinion. Fanbo-. What. Question marks!

Will's mind was like that for a second before doing a squinting blink to clear the rush.

"Uhm, yeah Nico's a good guy. A bit dark and oblivious at times, but yes I like him."

With that answer Jason's smile somehow grew wider and eyes larger. Piper, seeing this, made a hushing gesture with her hands before Jason could inflate.

Clearing her throat Piper asked another question.
"Okay that's cool. You guys friends? Guy...friends?"

Will blinked and made his mouth form a tight line before slowly parting his lips twice before answering.

"Look I'm pretty sure Nico and I are just friends"

'And hopefully will want to be more than just friends some day...'
He thought to himself.

Piper had a reassuring smirk on her face with his answer. She looked at him almost knowingly. Could Aphrodite girls read minds? Or could her charm speak work with just a smile? Will shook his head.

"Well that's all we wanted Will, thanks for that. Nice to see you out of the infirmary clothes by the way" Piper smiled again and waved him out of Zues' cabin leaving Will confused and startled.

Why did they want to know how he felt about Nico? He'd heard that Hazel, Jason, Annabeth and Reyna had started some Nico protection squad. The rest of the seven were probably in it as well as Hedge. Were they recruiting?

On that Will made his way to the Apollo cabin to round up the young campers to be ready for dinner. Will was starving.
