Epilogue
All five girls exchanged glances between one another as the tall, dark purple-dyed-haired girl helped the short redhead to her feet, allowing the poor girl to lean on her for support. The Wishing Well continued to spout water, the sound of it filling the silence for the time being until one of them spoke. "So, I'm guessing you all got invitations to the Disneyverse as well?" the orange-dyed-haired girl asked as she crossed her arms, and her pale blue eyes flicked all around them at their surroundings.
The dark-skinned girl with her matching dark hair up in a bun nodded in confirmation, brown eyes bright with relief. "Yup. But how is it even possible?"
The blue-eyed blonde shrugged her shoulders. "Beats me. I'm just glad I wasn't the only one who was sent to this creepy place. Who knew taking the place of a Disney Princess was a lot harder than it looked, right?"
"No kidding," the green-eyed redhead muttered, and finally regained her balance so that she wouldn't have to lean on the tall, skinny, purple-haired girl with bright grey eyes anymore. "I never want to go through that again." The redhead shivered and hugged herself for comfort.
"So, who are you guys?" the orange-head asked, and glanced at each of the four other girls. "My name's Melody," she said as she began the introductions.
The blonde cleared her throat before giving them a shy smile. "I'm Cindy."
The dark-skinned girl smiled. "Tia."
The purple-haired girl jumped up and down in excitement. "I'm Zelda!" she waved her hand in the air and smiled. The others giggled at her enthusiasm before turning to the redhead.
The redhead shied away and turned to face the Wishing Well. "My name is Belle." The girls blinked at her. "I guess it's obvious in my name which Princess I took the place of, right?" They all nodded as Belle sighed and slowly sat down on the ground, crossing her legs one over the other.
Zelda knelt down and placed a comforting hand on Belle's shoulder, a small smile on her lips. "Hey, nobody would think I was Rapunzel because of the first three letters in my name are the last three in her name. You'd have to be very aware for you to notice it." Belle gave her a grateful smile in return, not commenting on which Princess she had taken the place of.
"So, while we're on the subject of Princesses, I turned out to be Ariel, even though I'm named after her daughter, Melody," Melody spoke up, and rubbed the back of her neck nervously.
Tia sputtered out a laugh. "I can only imagine how that went for you. Shadow Man wasn't any better, really. But seeing Ray die was just-," Tia shook her head and hid her face behind her hand. "He reminded me of someone I love back home," she whispered, and Cindy engulfed her in a comforting hug.
"If it helps, I got over my fear of mice when I became Cinderella," Cindy smiled, and Tia laughed.
"I can see the resemblance in your name now." Cindy laughed and nodded in agreement.
"Your name is Tia and you were Tiana, right?" Tia nodded with a small smile. "Now there's a resemblance." The two girls laughed.
"So, I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say the Well is our way back home?" Zelda stood and helped Belle to her feet as well.
Cindy glanced at the roaring water that fell down into a pitch black abyss. "I guess so. I mean, it took Giselle to New York City in 'Enchanted', right? That's gotta mean it can take us home as well."
Melody and Tia peered over into the Well as well. "I say we should jump in," Melody shrugged and crossed her arms as the others stared at her. "What?" she blinked at them in confusion.
"Are you serious?" Cindy questioned, and Melody raised a dubious eyebrow in return.
"Let's do it!" Zelda beamed, and held out her hand to Belle as the shy girl took it hesitantly, "Together." Belle smiled and nodded her head firmly, gripping Zelda's hand tighter, palm against palm, as Zelda held out her left hand to Tia.
Tia sighed exaggeratedly before dropping her hand in Zelda's. "Might as well."
Tia then held out her hand to Melody beside her, who took it with a giant grin on her face. Cindy reached forward and clasped her palm inside Melody's, five girls' hands interlinked with one another, all different, and yet shared one experience that would forever connect them to each other.
"Let's promise to find each other back in the real world, okay?" Cindy asked them, and all four girl's nodded, before they stepped toward the Well.
"Ready?" Zelda asked while looking around at the others, and they all nodded before they took one more step and all five girls fell into oblivion.

It had been two weeks since the girls returned home. They had each reappeared in the first place they left from.
Melody was the first to run down the stairs to her father where Tristan embraced her with tears running down his cheeks at the sight of his only daughter finally back home. That's when Melody noticed the other adults in the room, and once they each saw her, they all took their leave, hoping to find their own children and friend back where they had first been.
Tia had reappeared back in her dorm, and just when she was about to leave to go find her best friend, the door opened and there he was. Tia had grinned and ran into her best friend's arms as he suspected a hug, but instead received a kiss from her. Niall was all too happy to hear her say she had loved him all this time since they were kids as he spun her around in the air with joy.
Cindy had crashed out on her living couch and was about to take a nap when the front door burst open to reveal her haggard mother searching for her. Cindy had smiled softly at the sight of her mom and jumped to her feet once Ella spotted her, and broke down in tears. Mother and daughter held each other in comforting hugs that crushed the emotion out of you until they were fresh out of tears.
Belle had reappeared back in her bedroom as she heard the front door open, and feet pounding down the hallway until her bedroom door burst open to reveal her father, Marvin. Belle had choked out a sob, before running into her father's open arms, crying out that she had missed him and that the Disneyverse had been so frightening. She was glad to be home.
Zelda stared out the window as it began to rain, and lifted her hand to the glass as she took a seat on the bench that was attached to the window. She loved the rain. Zelda heard a car coming up the driveway and snapped her head towards the front door just as her adoptive parents appeared, hair and coats wet from the rain as they just stood there staring at her. Zelda stood and smiled at them as Charlie and Emma both ran forward to embrace their only daughter, by birthright or not, she was still their child. Zelda let a small tear shed as she felt something pinch her right shoulder, and glanced over at the small green Chameleon perched on top of her. Zelda grinned. Yup. She still didn't regret going to the Disneyverse.

After two weeks had passed, the girls became fast friends and met regularly. Even though Melody was still in high school and all the other girls were in College, they didn't act any differently towards their age differences. The girls had made a pact with one another, for they knew their adventures in the Disneyverse were not over, not quite. They knew something was going to happen again, maybe another invitation, and they wanted to be prepared for it. So they watched every Disney movie ever made at Melody's house--since it was the biggest--and was glad her dad was making dinner downstairs the night of the first Disney Marathon.
Ever since Melody had disappeared, Tristan had tried his best to be with her almost all the time and not be distracted by work every day like before. Melody loved that he was trying. As for the other girls, Tia and Niall were officially a couple, Cindy and her mother Ella had developed a mother/daughter secret handshake and did nearly everything together. Zelda was trying to find her real parents, just to know who they were and why they had given her up. Charlie and Emma were even helping her in the search for Zelda's biological parents. Belle had been less shy and more outgoing, speaking up for herself when needed and depending on her friends for their help, which they were happy to give. She was glad she had met them all, whether it was under good circumstances or not.
When the girl's first made the pact, they wanted a name for themselves. They couldn't decide, and didn't want to settle for regular old 'Disney Princesses' as their group name, so they mixed it up a little. A small group of five girls that was soon to grow, were now well-known to everyone as THE DISPRINCES.
Because, you know, they were basically their own heroes in the story.
And their story has only just begun.
