Melody's P.O.V.

Darn it!  I should've known!  Ursula was bound to come up with something as devious as tipping over the boat in the Lagoon just when I was about to get Eric's kiss, or even using my--or Ariel's--voice to charm Eric into thinking the Sea Witch in disguise was the girl he had been searching for.

It was supposed to be me!  I wanted to go home!

Well, now I had to handle the raging Sea Witch with Eric's help.  After finding out that I wasn't the one Eric had thought I'd be since I couldn't speak--which rather quite sucked Shells--I had been so angry that I wanted to throttle the woman named Vanessa that was Ursula in disguise.  But, sadly, Scuttle and Sebastian held me back, saying that this was so unlike me.  And in a sense, it was.  I was no longer acting as Ariel anymore.  Was my will finally my own?

After running back to the room I had been staying in ever since Eric brought me to his Castle and gave me dresses to wear, I wore the same blue and black dress Ariel had wore as I watched Eric and the boat that him and Vanessa were to be wedded on, sail away.  Then I slid down to my butt and cried.  Even my tears were silent.

I just wanted to go home.  I missed my Daddy.  Did he even know I was gone by now?  Did he even notice since he was always busy with work and letting the Maids take care of me over the years ever since my mother Athena died?  I find it humorous how my mom's name had been Ariel's mother's name, and now that I was named after Ariel's daughter, Melody, I was now acting as Ariel in her own Disney movie.  Confused much?

That's when Scuttle told us that Ursula was marrying Eric in disguise, and Flounder did his best to hurry me to the boat as Scuttle went to get reinforcements and Sebastian to get King Triton, Ariel's father.

By then, it was all downhill from there.

Scuttle got tangled up with Vanessa and managed to pull off her seashell necklace that held my voice in it, snapping Eric out of his entranced state, and once my voice was back, Eric ran over to me and was about to kiss me when I felt the pain of the transformation take over my body.

I was a Mermaid again.

Ursula then shed her Human skin and dragged me with her down into the Sea, pulling me along until Triton's magical Trident directed it's spears toward Ursula, threatening her to let me go.  Flotsam and Jetsam held me back as Triton and Ursula made a deal to spare my life, in turn transforming Triton into one of Ursula's little 'pets'.  I couldn't just float there and let Ariel's father sacrifice himself for me even if I wasn't his real daughter.

I fought Ursula until Eric came to my aid, only for the two Eels to force him under, but I knew Sebastian and Flounder would help him as I pulled Ursula's hair, causing her to misfire the glowing Trident as it hit her 'poor little poopsies'.  That's when she got angry.

I embraced Eric as he held me close, only for us to be separated by the top of Triton's crown on Ursula's head as she used the power of her Trident to enhance her size, me and Eric jumping off before we got too high up.

Ursula created a whirlpool of magic as sunken ships rose up out of the water and circled her, catching me in the whirlpool as I became separated from Eric and hit the bottom of the whirlpool where it touched the Ocean floor, free of any water.  Ursula shot at me with the Trident, and I did my best to dodge the attacks as Eric took control of one of the ships and forced the broken head pole to strike Ursula directly in the gut.  She was killed instantly as she sunk to the bottom, her purple and black tentacles pulling the ship down along with her.  That was the end of Ursula.

Now all that was left was for me to go home.

It was morning now, and I sat on a rock near the shore gazing at Eric unconscious on the sand--since after killing Ursula--had collapsed from exhaustion.  I exhaled and looked down at Ariel's tail--no, my tail--as tears filled my eyes.  How was I going to get home with this thing attached to my lower body now?

All of a sudden, my tail began to glow a bright white, and gasped as a smile broke out on my face.  That's right!  Triton uses his Trident to turn Ariel Human!  I was home free!

I emerged out of the water in a sparkling silver gown with open arms as Eric finally awoke, and smiled at my approach before running up and taking me into his arms.  I smiled as he leaned in to connect our lips when a sudden dark green light filled the space between us, and I stepped back, shielding my eyes from any harm as the glowing light finally faded away and was replaced with a giant Wishing Well.

I blinked.  I knew this place.  It was Andalasia.  A sudden gasp to my left made me look over to see a blue-eyed blonde staring at me rather rudely.  I stared back at her.  She reminded me of someone.

Just then, three other lights to my right glowed brightly as I blinked harshly through them to the figures appearing before me and the one other girl.  I guess I wasn't the only one who had gone to the Disneyverse.

So I'm finally back from my Band performance, and am ready to write the Endings to this story! ^-^ Yippee! Four more Chapters left! <3 Song above is 'Kiss The Girl' from the movie ;D
