Chapter Ten
Belle's P.O.V.
I jumped back as the Beast ran forward and grabbed the glass case, replacing it over the Enchanted Rose as he glowered down at me. "Why did you come here?" he demanded, and I gulped.
"I-I'm sorry," I stuttered, my fear spiking drastically at the look he was giving me.
"I warned you never to come here!"
I flinched away from his tone. "I didn't mean any harm."
"Do you realize what you could have done!?" he bellowed, and swung his arm up as I gasped, and backed into a dismantled cabinet as he broke the table I had been grasping only moments earlier.
"Please! Stop!" I begged, my heart beating rapidly in my chest as he raised his arm to swing again. I ducked from the blow as he destroyed the cabinet I had been up against. Why was I speaking without meaning to? These weren't my words.
"Get out!" He swung again. "GET. OUT!"
I didn't give it another thought before running out of that dreadful place.

I kicked Phillipe harder on the sides, the Clydesdale horse trying his hardest to pick up speed in order to get away from the Wolves. After I ran away from the Beast back at the Castle, I grabbed Belle's cloak and took off only to get chased by a huge pack of wolves not soon after.
I was scared.
Never before had I thought I'd be experiencing Belle's time with the Beast, along with all the bad parts like in the movie. Which would be now, for instance.
Phillipe had gotten trapped between a pair of wolves, and I fell off his back and into the cold white snow around us, the blue ribbon keeping my hair back flying out in the process. Phillipe's reins got tangled on a tree branch, and continued to fend for himself until one of the wolves jumped on his back. I hastily grabbed a long stick and swung it at the wolf, knocking it off Belle's horse so that I could try and get him untangled. Then we were surrounded.
I held the stick like a sword and swung at any wolf that came within range, only for one to grab it between it's teeth and break it in half. Then another wolf jumped and caught my cape, pulling me down as another was about to pounce on me. I screamed and turned my face away, waiting for the dreadful feeling of teeth sinking into my flesh.
But it never came.
A piercing roar sounded just above me, and I turned to see the Beast had the wolf that was about to attack me in a hold, before tossing it aside. He hovered over me protectively, his body like a barrier as he growled at each of the wolves around us. My heart pounded in my chest, but this time not from fear.
Then the Beast lunged.
The wolves all attacked him at once, though he fought them off with an eerie grace that looked like he was used to this sort of thing happening. Saving damsels in distress from danger. And I guess that current damsel was me.
After a while, the wolves finally gave up and retreated back into the woods, Beast turning to face me before falling unconscious into the snow. I debated whether to help him or not, but then remorse came over me. He risked his life for me. That had to mean something.
So, I helped him back to the Castle as Phillipe carried him, still unconscious in the saddle.

Once we got to the Castle and I had the fire going in the fireplace, Mrs. Pots helped heat up some water as I poured her into a bowl, setting her down gently before dipping a towel into the steaming bowl of heated water. Ringing it out, I looked up to see Beast licking his wound clean on his right arm. Luckily, I knew First-Aid back in the real world, since I had wanted to be a Nurse. Now if only I could get back to keep that dream of mine going.
"Here, now. Oh, don't do that." He growled and jerked his arm away from me as I flinched. He started to move his arm around and away from. "Just. Hold. Still." When I finally touched his wound with the wet towel, he roared in pain.
"That HURTS!" he screamed in my face, and I tried not to shake with fear.
"If you'd hold still, it wouldn't hurt as much!" I yelled back, not knowing what came over me for me to yell back at him.
"Well, if you hadn't have run away, this wouldn't have happened," he argued, and I couldn't help but fume inside. Was he kidding me!?
"If you hadn't frightened me, I wouldn't have run away!" I yelled back, my anger just as great at this moment. But who was this speaking? I had never been this brave before in my entire life.
He opened his mouth to say a retort, but stopped himself as I crossed my arms. Then he said, "Well, you shouldn't have been in the West Wing!"
"Well, you should learn to control your temper," I fired back, and he faltered. I had him there. Pushing a strand of my brand new brown hair behind my ear, I used my free hand to lift his injured arm since he had given up on fighting with me, and raised the other that held the towel in it. "Now hold still. This might sting a little." I gently placed the towel on the shallow wounds, and he growled in pain, turning his head away as I paused in trying to clean his wound. "By the way, thank you," I looked up at him shyly, "for saving my life."
Beast slowly turned his head back around to face me, those blue eyes pinning me to my spot. "You're welcome," he said gently, and after that I continued to bandage his arm for him.
Looks like this was the part where I fall madly in love with him for saving me, right?

Ha! Told ya! xP I managed to do it after all ^-^ So there's that, and we all must admit, we loved how Beast risked his life for Belle during the wolf attack :) Just like in the video above xD
Now remember, I don't own the video or the movie, it's just there and quoted from it, so absolutely no credit for me :P
DQC: What other Disney Princesses do you think I'll be featuring in the next book? ;) FYI, TWO of the Princesses from this story will be returning in Book 2, but THREE new ones will be appearing :P Any guesses on who those girls may be? ;)
