Cindy's P.O.V.

I banged on the door of Cinderella's room, Lady Tremaine having locked me in here even when I fought to open it.  And yes, I literally fought, as in I tried forcing the door open even when she had shut it.  There was no way I was going to pull a Cinderella and be all civil about this.  I know she's nice and everything, but as for me?

Not a chance.

I knew Jacque and Gus Gus would help get me out, though, just like they did with Cinderella, but then there was also Lucifer I had to worry about.  That mangy cat was always trying to eat Cinderella's mice friends.  Well, I wouldn't let it happen.

After telling the Bluebirds to go get Bruno just as I heard a yowling howl, I smiled and peeked through the keyhole.  Yes!  They were finally here!  Now I'll finally be able to get back home!

The night of the Ball, I had danced and danced all night long with the Prince, although Cinderella wasn't supposed to know it was him, the Cindy me did.  But once the clock struck midnight, I had to hurry out of the Castle and back to Cinderella's home just as everything my Fairy Godmother gave me turned back to their original forms.  All but one glass slipper.  The other I had purposely left behind so the Prince could find me.

Once I got back, I was smiling non-stop because my Happy Ending was almost within grasp.  And then to hear Lady Tremaine explain about how the Prince would marry whoever fit the slipper, I ran upstairs to prepare, but that's when Lady Tremaine came upstairs and locked me in Cinderella's room.  Well, I wasn't going to give up.

Once I managed to get the key under the door from Jacque and Gus Gus only after Bruno had chased off Lucifer, I was actually glad I had gotten over my initial fear of mice.  I unlocked the door and bolted downstairs, the Grand Duke just preparing to leave as I shouted, "Wait!  Please!  May I try it on?"

The Grand Duke merely smiled as I hurried downstairs, and the Duke gave me a hand to sit on the chair as he called over the footman to bring the slipper.  I knew it was going to happen, so I watched as Lady Tremaine stuck out her cane and tripped the footman, the slipper airborne before crashing to the floor and breaking into tiny little pieces.  I smirked.  She thinks she's won.

The Duke began panicking as I reached into my dress pocket and said, "You see, I have the other slipper," I explained, and pulled out the other glass slipper leftover from the Ball.  The Duke smiled, and Lady Tremaine looked aghast as the slipper was slipped onto my right foot.

The Perfect Fit.

I was grinning by the time I ran out of the Castle in Cinderella's wedding dress.  I forgot another slipper, and the King helped me slip it back on my foot as I kissed the top of his bald head in thanks.  A deep crimson blush stained his cheeks as I turned and took the Prince's hand as we hopped into a carriage.

I then turned to the Prince and smiled as he leaned in to kiss me, but right before he could, a searing silvery-white light glowed brightly in front of me, and I closed my eyes to keep myself from being blinded as I felt my surroundings change around me.

When I opened my eyes, I looked down at myself and gasped.  I was back in my regular clothes of jeans and a baby blue tank top with tennis shoes.  No more dresses.  I grinned and looked up only to stare at the object before me.

It was a Wishing Well.

I slowly stepped forward toward the Well, before glancing around at the different Castle.  I knew where I was.  I glanced back at the Well.  This Well would take me back to the real world.  It would take me back home.  Just as I stepped toward it to jump in, four other bright lights lit up beside me, and I blinked harshly.  I gasped at what I saw.

I really wasn't the only one.
